I'm searching for a new TV, find a bunch of their open box TVs, walk up to one of the workers who is behind the counter on his cell phone and ask him if he's helping anybody. Without saying a word, and without breaking eye contact with his cell phone, he shakes his head yes. Another customer says " wow... Maybe this guy will help you after he's done with me." that employee says he can't because he's going to help someone else and radios for someone to come help me. 25 minutes later the same guy that radioed for help finally decides to help me. He sold me an open box TV that was labeled excellent condition. I get at home and it's only the TV. There's no remote control, there's no feet to set it up on, and there's no power cable. I am freaking livid. Avoid this garbage place.

The one plus here is it's separated mostly from the other businesses in the busy Cortlandt Town Center shopping plaza - so if you're looking to just come here, you don't have to deal with some of the general madness in the shopping center. Stock is typical. If you frequent Best Buy, then you pretty much know what to expect with stock, with little differences like game/movie selections being a little different with older titles and some of the toys. Speaking of, Best Buy used to have better selections of both games and movies, but now it's just sad. Yes, I know society is trying to phase out physical media (I'm a physical media fan, so I disagree with that and I know I'm in the minority, but I digress), but some of the titles of both are almost non-sensical in general and here is no exception. You'll get mainly newer titles with questionable choices with older titles. If you're looking to get an older movie or game, you're better off ordering online - even Best Buy's website has a way better selection of titles than what's in store. Best Buy has very typical selections of electronics, appliances, and such - but definitely shop around since Best Buy is not really the 'best buy' anymore and hasn't been for quite some time. Sometimes you'll find decent sales or prices, but sometimes you'll find better elsewhere. Had no interactions with employees aside from the cashier, who was friendly. As mentioned, located in the Cortlandt Town Center shopping plaza - this location has it's own parking lot, so you'll have no issues finding a spot, especially if you're mainly coming here. So all in all it's just a Best Buy. The best part of this location is the location and parking lot, otherwise it's just typical almost all around.

We get Into it to enjoy music right? So John had my girlfriend and I sit with him for over and hour demoing amps and speakers. I ended up buying a Rega Elex MK4 which was a massive upgrade for me and honestly a big investment, but they really did not push me to spend one dollar more than I could afford. While we were there I told him what bookshelf speakers I had and he connected some similarly sized bookshelves with a pair of REL subs and I was just completely enamored with the suddenly gutsy sound. Fast forward a couple of months and I went to buy the REL, which has totally exceeded my expectations. My system is like new and I am enjoying everything in my collection for the first time all over again. John and everyone at Audio Connection: you guys have a customer for life!

He seemed very tired and was unable to answer any question or help our elderly mother with any technical issues. He finally disappeared for about 15 minutes and we waited longer and longer for the new phone to finish updating even though we saw it was already done.

This is a UPS access point and somehow the guy behind the counter is charging a made up fee for…read morepicking up and dropping off UPS packages. If you don't agree with his made up fee, he threatens you with sending it back to sender and if it's a drop off he directly tells you to go other place if you don't want to pay him. Heads up there's another UPS drop off location couple feet away, it's called Tavares multi service, although if UPS left your package in his store you're forced to either pay or he'll send it back to sender. I'm currently reporting this to UPS and they're shocked to hear about this, so hopefully they'll fix this soon, meanwhile he keeps scamming the neighbors.

While I understand that GameStop employees are expected to promote memberships and protection plans, the level of pressure felt excessive. Even so, I remained polite and declined the offers multiple times. What really bothered me was how Charles' attitude completely changed after I said no for the final time -- he went from friendly and upbeat to visibly annoyed, giving one-word answers and clearly losing interest in helping me. When I thanked him for the sale, he just said "mhm" and walked away without another word. It made what should've been an exciting purchase feel uncomfortable and awkward. I don't blame the sales process, but the customer service attitude afterward was disappointing enough that I don't plan to return to this location, and this really makes me rethink shopping at GameStop at all.

Most GameStops are stocked the same with the only differences being certain used game titles being in stock and some of the toys/collectables. Unfortunately, whenever a new platform comes out the older games start to get phased out but that has been a GameStop thing for a long time now. This location had a pretty good selection overall of titles from the 3 platforms I searched. Everything was organized, clean, and neat. The lone employee in the front was very friendly. Parking is plentiful, though keep in mind you're in the busy Cortlandt Town Center with a lot of bad drivers coming into this lot. With physical media unfortunately trying to get phased out, I'm not sure how much time GameStop has left to be sustainable, but it's still nice to go while we can. Overall a good location and one I'd visit again if in the area.
