I love west side campus so much. Main campus always gives me anxiety because of the size. But west side is nice. Cute wildlife like squirrels and lizards. Online classes are nicely organized and for the most part self explanatory. Only thing I'd change is the vending machine prices Afterthought: the bathrooms are clean which I appreciate. read more

(This review is for the Westside campus.) My son is a dually enrolled as a homeschooler and a student at CNM and while I appreciate that he is able to take classes here why do they have to make it such a pain? On this day he was going in to take a CLEP test for college credit. Even though I had already paid for the test online through the CLEP website I needed to pay an additional fee for my son to have the test administered at CNM. This is was not the problem. The problem occurred when I went to pay for the test. The administration had moved the cashier out of the same building as the testing center and placed it across campus. So after visiting the testing center, we walked back across campus to the administration building when I was told that the cashier was not in this particular day and I had to pay with either a check, money order, or credit card. I decided to pay by credit card; I do not carry checks with me. The credit card had to be paid by calling the main CNM office and giving them my information. After I had paid I had to wait for the cashier at the main office to email a copy of my receipt to the receptionist at the front desk. (Not me, not the testing office) It took us 45 minutes for us to walk across twice and pay for his test. This was the last day before classes were scheduled to start at the campus so why did they not have a cashier on site? read more

Its a good college to start at or get your basics done.

AWFUL. Where do I start. First, I moved when I have one credit left to get my AA degree. Obviously I had to take it online (lab class), every time I called I would get transferred until I was hung up on because no one knew what to do for me in this case of taking just a lab online. Finally I drove 8 hours to talk to someone so they couldn't just hang up on me. They sent me to the advisers, who sent me to the communication department, who sent me to student services, who told me they don't know what I want them to do about it. Anyways, about a year goes by and I finally just took a science class that I didn't need to get into the lab. Well I passed, earned my Associates degree and NOW, my new job did a background check and was told by CNM that I do NOT have my degree when I have 61 of 60 credits required and the "degree works" says I am 100% done. The most unorganized, frustrating school ever. Once I get this straightened out I will NEVER go back and I will refer everyone I know to stay far far away. read more
