Very realistic and detailed work, replicating NYC train system. Great for all ages, especially young ones.

I got the scallop and risotto. Scallop rubbery frozen, risotto tasted like nothing, the chicken was like airplane foo, dessert was like some cheap doughnuts. Will not be returning, waste of money.

Great option for large groups but lower your expectations for the club…read more Our group of nine appreciated the venue's prie fix group menu which made ordering and splitting seamless. This came with a huge variety of family style appetizers (delicious), a choice of entrees (the scallops were heavenly), and a cute cheesecake pop tower for dessert. Drinks were extra - I didn't like my cocktail that mixed tequila and coconut milk but my friends raves about the summer sangria spritz. The dinner venue was playing awesome pop music (albeit a bit too loudly) and there was an Instagramable patio near the eating tables so we were surprised to find out the after dinner club was in a separate dinky pub a 2 minute drive away. The venue offered shuttles to the "club", but not back, so we opted to drive. We finished dinner and arrived to a DEAD club at 10pm. Few people had arrived, and the music selection was much worse. The crowd didn't pick up until 11:30pm, and the music barely improved by then. I spent most of the time people watching instead of dancing. Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - large parking lot near the dining location - reservations recommended - moderate amount of vegetarian options - great for groups

We had a wonderful stay at the Yale Club the weekend before Christmas. My dad has been a member for…read moremany years, so my little 3pack had a room across the hall from my parents. They were able to provide an old school crib and a fridge for the room since we were bringing our 11 month old. The room was otherwise well appointed, a little dated but perfectly nice. The workout facilities were average, but the locker rooms very nice. The pool was small but there were some kids enjoying themselves while I enjoyed a sauna and steam in the locker room. We had some drinks in the lounge (which was great to host people in) and also enjoyed 3 dinners and a buffet brunch at the Tap. The food was pretty expensive but overall well-executed. I really enjoyed the branzino dish. The staff was all very kind about my baby making a mess as she learned to eat in her high chair. The location is great for holidays in the city-- walkable to the big tree at Rockefeller center, the lights of Times Square, and the walking paths of Central Park. I would love to come back when the rooftop bar is open.

I loathe to admit it (and will absolutely not do so in front of a Yalie), but this was one of the…read morebetter social club experiences that I've had. Visited friends for dinner and drinks after snagging a wristband for Anime NYC (lol). I had no idea what the dress code actually was before going - it ended up actually being pretty lenient (business casual). I guess the thing about relaxing things a bit to attract younger people more was real. Anyways, from the start, the coat check process was pretty easy, easier than it usually goes (especially since it was a pretty cold day in November). Honestly kind of labyrinthine inside, but there were attendees leading us to where we needed to go. The dining room and bar was much larger than expected and actually pretty busy. Despite that, the service was pretty fast and prompt. Had myself whiskey recommended by a friend + a coffee. The coffee was actually surprisingly good - and I was pleasantly surprised by coffee being an option at this hour (it was fairly late at night). Had the black bean soup because it's apparently a menu staple, and it was quite solid and filling. Did not expect to get sour cream on the side - it was a very good combination! Much more than I expected, and so I would recommend it for a cold day. Also had the YC Kale salad, which was heartier (this is good) than I thought and pine nuts actually went much better with kale than I expected. The salad dressing also didn't overpower the natural flavor of the kale, which I found a pleasant surprise (many kale salads try to hide the taste of kale, which makes me wonder what the point is since kale is pretty expensive and if you hate kale, why even eat it). I don't know what they do to the bread to make it so fluffy and nice and buttery - in fact this comes pretty close to my favorite dinner bread ever. Absolute standout, no idea how they do it. It's actually not that much bread too (it's very airy), so you can keep monching them. I had the Lancaster chicken. Not sure why. It was fine, prepared as well as white meat chicken could be - but you can only do so much with white meat chicken. Honestly, someone else got the bulldog burger and it looked more appetizing. But it was still pretty good. The parsnips were definitely a nice addition, the mashed potatoes under the chicken actually had a really nice gravy which you could kind of eat alongside the chicken to add more flavor. Overall, a solid chicken dish. No complaints besides my generic grousing against white meat. Anyways, I enjoyed the drinking and dining experience here. Would definitely look forward to going again.
