The worst bank in the world! The bill pay system is so far behind any other bank that uses such…read moresystems. Some bill pay activities are NOT electronic! They still send CHECKS. Just in the past 30 days, the accounts that I went through the bill pay systems were delinquent by 15days because BOH can't seem to get it done efficiently and they sent checks. I've also had another bad experience where they indicated the check they sent had cleared. It had NOT. It was never found. Terrible bank.

The equipment is outdated. Like the 3rd world country's. You don't even see it in Africa. Do you know how the banks have those banknotes counting machines?! It makes sense when you have to count several thousands. I have seen those machines in The Middle East, India, poor Asian countries, Eastern Europe, etc...but not in the first Hawaiian bank in Kihei. You are supposed to stand and count several thousands of dollars yourself which I did but wanted to double check and put the notes through this machine just in case. The teller looked at me like I accused her of stealing and told me to go to another window next to her as she didn't have that machine, which I did as she passed my money to another teller is another window, after I walked there she yelled: " NOW APOLOGISE TO THIS GUY BECAUSE YOU ARE CUTTING In front of of him!", imagine the staff is telling you to apologize to somebody because they screwed and couldn't provide decent service. Literally publicly SHAMING YOU! Well, lady, if you had had any professionalism you would have apologized to me that you don't have this machine for whatever reason in your window but you will provide it in a minute or 2 if I could wait for a little bit until the machine is available. That's called customer service. Something you don't have.

DO NOT apply for a vehicle loan with these people. I am five months out and still don't have an…read moreupdated registration. The credit union received a $50 penalty from the DMV for not filing the change of ownership timely, and on top of that when they recorded me as the registered owner they put the SELLERS address on the form instead of mine. I paid the loan off last month to try and get out of this mess, but the CU has to wait for the DMV to record the lien that should have been done 5 months ago, and then submit it again to release their lien.
