The kids absolutely love the playground area. It looks like it's pretty new and it is kept up. They really enjoy coming here. There is a small playground for younger kids and a bigger one for older kids. It has a spongy waking surface made of recycled rubber, so it soften off possible falls. Parking is only along the curb, usually best on 29th street. There are trash cans and a dog litter dispenser.

I've slowly lost 10lbs with diet change and coming to their yoga classes and barbell class. Plus, cardio and some light weight training. I love all the morning yoga instructors; Trish, Jeana & Kristi. They are all so nice and so kind, I feel so welcomed and at peace when I go to yoga. Even during heated yoga where most everyone is super fit, I feel like I belong and that I am not being judged. I love the gym and feeling so welcomed has made me love going. It's my favorite time of the day, the few days a week that I have been going. It's so nice to feel like I can finally make the change for my health because the facilities are clean, the staff are extremely nice & the classes are so helpful when you can't afford the extra cost of personal training.

They have allowed a swim team to occupy EVERY SINGLE LANE. I was told this was temporary and they would be done with the pool by January. It is now February and they are still here. There has been no mention of this on the club schedule. Then there's the state of the equipment. There's been a lot of equipment down for repairs. There has also been a lot of torn padding. Broken mirror in the locker room that took almost 2 weeks to fix. Sauna that's down almost 2weeks out of every month All of this and no ACTUAL club manager. Email left unanswered. For what they charge there should be more attention and accountability.

The Center is actually a paralympic sports club which is what got my attention originally, but there is so much more here at thr Center. There is something for everyone whatever your goals and interests are. One of my passions is powerlifting and aside from a variety of machines to work on they do not offer a powerlifting program yet. I am hoping this will change for they are rapidly adding new sports all the time. Most recently adaptive cycling and wheelchair curling were added to the reportoire this semester. They also have a paralympic skill builders program which focuses on introducing several different new sports such as archery, wheelchair rugby and badminton, as well as some pre-existing ones such as wheelchair basketball and tennis! There are adult members here of all age ranges....come check it out!! My rating will be a perfect score for me when the powerlifting is ever added, but I am glad to be a member and invite others to come visit and see what is here for you.
