While the entire Cincinnati riverfront is gorgeous, we couldn't find a place that was covered where we could eat. As we were driving by we saw this park! Parking was $5 and the park was empty except for our party. The bridge provided covering from the rain and there were many picnic tables surrounding the park. The play structure is made out of trex building material and included LOTS of elements for our kids to play. Swing set, monkey bars, climbing rope, etc. the ground is squishy. There is a good amount of noise from the cars driving over the bridge overhead, but it was a sweet spot to eat lunch and let the kids work off some steam.

My favorite features of this playground is the top tremblers the popular Buffalo trace water tower which is located on the same campus. Overall really cool and nice to have some for the kiddos at a place geared for a 21 year and older crowd.

Just, like, groups of metal bars that require you to use your imagination, because otherwise they're just bleak and cold and hard objects standing in the middle of a field. This park has metal monkey bars and metal slides, a metal geometric dome and a metal merry-go-round -- all of the metal things. I imagine that this playground might be a little hot to the touch in the summer, but when we visited in late winter, it was perfectly pleasant. But only 3/4 of the playground is old-school playground equipment. The other 1/4 is updated plastic. However, for some reason, my children spent very little time in the updated playground area, and opted for the metal area. Very interesting. This park has lots going for it. It has an enormous sheltered picnic area that seems like it would be good for group events. It has a colorful basketball court with four hoops. There's also a baseball field, disc golf / frisbee golf (frolf) course, a gaga ball court, a walking path, a man-made lake, and a little fairy house by the playground parking lot. Liberty feels like a big park but is also a quaint part of the community. We had a good time visiting.

There are paths where you could walk in loops, which is what I did with my friend, and there are benches sporadically as well for those who like a place to sit and watch the world go by. The bathrooms over by the baseball field were fairly clean for a park bathroom, too. One zone consists of two small adorable playhouses meant for young crawlers and toddlers. Right next to that is a musical instrument section, balance walk, and a huge colorful maze with textured walls. Towards the back is a play area with a turf hill and 14-foot mega tower with plenty of opportunities to slide and climb. There are tube, flat bed, and curved slides. The tower can appear intimidating but my 3.5 and 5 year old girls fearlessly climbed the ladder to access the tower and came down the tube slides without issue. Surrounding the tower are several climbing structures. One consists of faux tree logs and another resembles the back of a bear. Another major feature is the zip line. My 5 year old was super excited and went on it several times.
