I recently invested in my first rental property in Lodi and wanted to hire a trusted, affordable handyman who did great work. I couldn't have hit the jackpot more with Mike. Mike was thorough, friendly, tasteful, affordable, and timely. Projects I had him do include upgrading all light switches and outlets, replacing the exterior address numbers, replacing multiple indoor and outdoor light fixtures, painting cabinets and installing new pulls, installing a new dryer vent, removing exterior fans and capping the outlets, shortening interior horizontal blinds, installing a smart keypad lock, replacing fence posts, and his best work was making a very damaged door and trim look brand new again. You'll notice these projects are kind of random - I had many other projects in mind and why I'll hire Mike again and fully recommend him is because in addition to doing great work, he is honest about what should be done to improve the property and what is fine to stay as is. I couldn't recommend Mike more as a trusted handyman ... and cool guy! read more

Mike came out to install my over-the-range microwave. He was able to fit me in after Best Buy told me they couldn't install it due to an issue with my cabinet. Follow Up to my previous review below: even after the excellent service on my water heater, Mike came back and STILL offered excellent service! He came to service a particular strap issue I had wanted done on the water heater, and did it for free!! Appreciate his hard work and attention to detail...and he was fast too! Thanks again! The previous reviewer with the water heater picture read my mind *wink, wink, nudge nudge*. Had a pleasant experience with Mike and his crew. I called around to many different Handyman places and many were not able to come out or help with water heater issues. Thankfully, Mike and his crew were able to come on the day we requested and even picked up the water heater from Home Depot, installed it correctly and took a picture of the work! We were not home, but our friend watched the work and said it was done very well ....they even showed up early to start the job without being asked! I gotta say, all the positive reviews about Mike are all true and more. We hired him to replace the access gate and adjacent fence panels to match. He showed up right on time this morning and constructed the gate from scratch onsite based on a picture I showed him. He ran into a couple issues, which had nothing to do with him, but he worked through the issues patiently. In the end, it took him much longer than he expected, but it didn't seem to bother him as he was willing to do what it takes to get the job done right and that we were happy with the end result. Mike came over to assemble and install a new ceiling fan and large dining room light. I like how he was able to point out to us that there was a small electrical wiring issue to be mindful of in the future. Mike also took the time to adjust the new dining room lamp in order to better fit the overall area (this required some additional modifications to the lamp itself). Mike is the best handyman I've ever hired. He takes great pride in his work, and it shows. He has removed and replaced the old trim from the front entry of my 1948 home and replaced it. It looks amazing! He has installed moulding/trim around the inside of my entry door, closet door, and window. It looks great! He will be installing the trim in the rest of my house as I continue working on my home. He also repaired a really bad fence job done by a handyman who claimed he knew how to install a fence. Mike built and installed two wood gates, which replaced the ones that were installed by the previous handyman. The fence and gate look great! Mike is professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I appreciate his integrity. After calling and sending emails to at least 8 handymen, Mike is the one that I felt was sincere and was not out to take advantage of me. I would HIGHLY recommend Mike! I initially called him to help with my routine inspection on my rental units which he was so knowledgeable about and that when I discovered a sewer drainage issue. Mike quickly cleaned up this HUGE mess that was on the side of the building which also seeped into the basement.
