Im giving Pouya 4 stars because Id definitely come back if in Paris again & in that quartier. I have already recommended it to friends. The place is super cozy, beautifully and authentically decorated. There is persian writing on the walls, colorful cushions, a library, an iranian menu, etc. The service was a bit slow but the gentleman serving us was kind. It is a great place to come in the afternoon for tea and a snack, on your own to read or do a bit of work (theres wifi), or to catch up with friends. We came on a Monday afternoon and it was very quiet inside.
Food - total 32 euros
1) mirza ghazemi - delicious, would order again. Large portion. 9 dollars. Very fair price. Came with bread too
2) zereshk polo with chicken - do NOT recommend. It was cold when we received it. It looked like it came with joujeh kabob (chicken kabob) but it tasted more like chicken tikka (which is indian). The chicken was very dry. There were also maybe 8 zereshk (berberries) total. Portion was small. Only 3 pieces of chicken. It came with an undressed salad (lettuce & tomatoes only). The mirza ghasemi also came with this. 14 euros. Very bad for quality & size.
3) ash reshte - neat they have this on the menu. It was very good. Fair portion. 9 euros. read more
