I went here for the first time yesterday to take a barre class. The instructor, as I understand…read moreit, was an American girl who was covering for a regular teacher. She was absolutely excellent. I will certainly return again soon, I just hope the instructor at that time will be just as good.

Aloha, I would like…read moreto express my deep love and appreciation to the Paris Marais Dance School, directed by two incredible artists Ghislain de Compreignac and Maggie Boogaart. We are from Hawaii. In 2017, my 9 year old daughter Sophia attended the Paris Marais Dance School's summer intensive program, and because she had an amazing experience, we came back this year for the 2019 summer intensive. This year, to my surprise, my two boys 8 and 14 who are club soccer players ended up dancing at the Paris Marais Dance School! I am very thrilled to say that my three children had best time ever! Paris Marais Dance School is the best dance school in Paris for a few reasons. Frist, all the teacher are very professional, and most importantly they teach from the heart. Those are the words from my children to describe their teachers. Sophia(11): Ghislain de Compreignac is the best ballet teacher in the world. I love Ghislain so much, because he is a very professional ballet teacher, and I can feel he really cares about me. In his ballet class, he is always so loving, positive and patient. He pays attention to the students. I love when he corrects me. He never gives up until I get the movement right. My teacher Ghislain de Compreignac inspires me, makes me feel that dancing is such a joy. He makes me feel special. Because of Ghislain de Compreignac I want to be the world's best ballerina! Evan(14): I was born with flat feet. This problem affected me when I played soccer. I want to give a big thanks to my teacher Maggie Boogaart who changed my feet and my life. I learned so much in her Graham technique and choreography class. She is a very passionate, energetic, dedicated dance teacher. I can feel her love in each class and that brought joy to my heart. I love my teacher Maggie Boogaart so much! Gordon(8): I love Patrice Zorzi so much! He is the best tap teacher ever!!! I never danced tap dance before, but now tap dance is my favorite. I always had so much fun in Patrice's class. He is very positive, always smiling, speaking little, but teaching a lot! His class is very efficient. I also loved his contemporary class. When my brother swung me up in the air, I felt like I was flying! Now that we are back in Hawaii, I still practice some of my tap moves--they help my feet get faster. Sophia(11): Nathalie Bochenek is my favorite ballet pointe teacher! She is the best! I love her so much. She is very organized. She's always very well prepared for the class and makes everything easy for us to learn. She is focused on the details. She gave us very clear instructions, very professional when she teaches, but at the same time she is very loving! Natalie helped me to improve my ballet technique a lot. I miss Natalie so much! Evan(14): I never thought I would take a ballet class in my life. However, I took a ballet class with Sabry Ghalem-Chérif and he made ballet easy! He had lots of passion for dance, always happy and cheerful. He made me feel ballet is such joyful thing to do, and everyone, including a flat-footed boy like me, can learn to dance! Wow, what compliments from the children. All these amazing teachers in one school made this the most special dance school in Paris. Second, Paris Marais Dance School is special because it is open to the world. All the dancers are from all over the world. Students feel very welcome here. All the teachers speak English. It is a very international dance school. Third, Paris Marias Dance School has two tracks. One is open to the public, to everyone and anyone who enjoys dancing. At the same time, there is also a professional track for those seeking a professional training program. Dancers admitted to the professional training program will be trained for a few years to become professional dancers. Whether you want to dance for fun or become a professional, Paris Marais Dance School can help you realize your dreams. Finally, I want to congratulate Paris Marais Dance School for doing such an outstanding job. On behalf of Sophia, Gordon and Evan, I want to express our deep love and appreciation once again to Ghislain de Compreignac, Maggie Boogaart for being outstanding directors. Thank you for making us feel welcome and at home with you. We also give our deep thanks to all the amazing dance teachers, Ghislain de Compreignac, Maggie Boogaart, Nathalie Bochenek, Patrice Zorzi and Sabry Ghalem-Chérif Ghislain, for bringing us true joy and happiness! We love and miss you all very much!!! Merci Beaucoup! Nina, Evan, Sophia & Gordon
