There were multiple tours going on in different languages at the same time but each group went to different sections. So your group might pass another group but you were not together. Our group was about 20 people. When you are facing the opera you go to the left and security about half way down the opera lets you in. Then you check in and wait in a rotunda area. After waiting for probably 15-20 our tour started. They take you to most of the areas and it's semi private. One of the highlights of our trip!

Its a lot more laid back, people let their guard down and the crowd is full of all kinds of people, especially music lovers. The music here is so so good!! I moved from New York in 2014 and really missed my Hot Vinyasa courses. There are many Bikram…read moreoptions in Paris, but like most students, I need other types of yoga and exercise to target other muscle groups. It took me a while to finally get to Yogafactory, but I have since become a regular here. Classes range in intensity and are conducted in French. If you don't understand French, you can follow the other students, but you lose out on the adjustments and encouragements in the dialogue. The room is heated, but not as high as the temperatures in Bikram or in Hot Yoga Studios in NY. The studios are clean and fully equipped with showers, lockers, and hairdryers but you do have to bring your own soap or bring/rent a towel. The instructors have always been very helpful and open to answering my questions. I would have to say that in France, instructors generally do not physically adjust students very much, but they will do so verbally and some have been more hands on. The level of ability of the students here is also above average for the city as I have found other studios to be too easy. I would recommend this studio to anyone who has a regular Vinyasa practice. For French speakers, the range in levels offers a great introduction. They have really challenged me over the past few months and helped me develop my core and arm strength through inversions and lifts. And I am far more well versed in anatomy in French now as well! Consider French lessons a secondary benefit!

Aim at classes in the mid am or mid pm to avoid hi class occupancy. The studio is cute, and well designed, the staff is super nice and looking after your well being. Don't hesitate to talk to them if any issue where to come up. Prices are fair an the professionalism of the staff is there which is rare in Parisian yoga practices. Indeed you can sense that their original background comes from Ballet Dancing, and trust me, if you can sense it, that also means the intensity level can get up there if you aim for the hard classes.
