Just like everyone else if I could give zero stars or NEGATIVE STARS I would!!! Everything was fine for the first year because nothing happened. ... meaning we did not need them. The problem started when the manger -if that's what you can call him- came to our rental unannounced and claimed we had an appointment for inspection. Doesn't an appointment require notice on both sides?? Well he never actually got in contact with us due to a closed phone line and then not trying to call my number, the other phone number on the lease!!! They also had 2 emails which they did not try. So no legal notice and we didn't let him come inside so he FINES US!!!!!!!!! He also had the audacity to tell my husband "wanna bet?" We he said we did t have an inspection. Scheduled. What kind of manager would speak like that??? Like some punk teenager. Do not use them if you want to rent out your house. DO NOT rent from centurion,people like SAM CULOTTA are scammers just in business to charge you for everything and take your money. They take advantage of people because they have no one to answer to and he knows just the right amount to fuck your over so you can't do much about it. They took most our deposit to fix things I already mentioned were broken when we moved in. They also billed us yet nothing has been done to the house yet because we drove by and it still looks the same. You will get yours in time Sam!!!!!!!! Think twice, three or four times before entering ANY agreement (Rental or Property Mgmt) with this company. As a renter, all of the 1 star reviews posted here are telling tales of what lays ahead. The leases are an exercise in degrading, draconian clauses and punitive possibilities. The "6 month" inspections include having to chase the HCIC (Head Clown In Charge) down to let him know that paying a $50 "no-show" fee wasn't going to happen as would be out of town. No response to phone calls, messages left, text's sent until the last second. Then a basic violation of personal rights as the HCIC barges through PHOTOGRAPHING every single inch of your personal space including closets, cabinets & nook/crannies under the guise of making sure you're not "shooting pornography, making drugs, etc" (2nd time told this as the first was the lease signing). A distasteful, invasive, degrading experience to be sure. When making them aware of maintenance issues like a stuck slider window, the response was-"Oh one less window they can break into...aren't you lucky". Fortunately, the owner of the unit figured out how the HCIC and underlings operate and replaced them with actual professionals. If I could give them zero stars I would. My water heater has been broken now for 6 days and it still has not be repaired. Under the law, they are required to repair within 48 hours, which we have surpassed. They didnt send out a repair man till day 5, and still no resolution. My service calls and written notices have gone unanswered, instead they feel it is professional to ignore my calls, yet send me a text message. I was told that their vendor , which told me the water heater was not installed correctly to begin it, doesnt have the part and I have to wait for his order to come in. Instead of getting the part elsewhere and using a vendor that has it, they are having me wait indefinitely for it. When I complained, all I was told was that I would get a small credit daily until it was repaired, mind you no date has still be setup for repairs. After complaining that this is an emergency and unlivable conditions, I was told to use the credit towards finding alternative housing, which by the way, with their small credit, I couldnt even get a motel in the worst part of town. Shame on you Centurion management for being dishonest and not caring about your tenants. This was just the icing on the cake. I have lived on this property for eight years and never had a problem till a new owner took over. I am a renter trying to view a house I saw on Zillow. My husband & I have both called the number listed, left messages, requested viewings, set up view times online, & for 4 days NO RESPONSE. Today is Friday & I'm sure of the fact that if I can't get in touch with anyone on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, the chance is slim I'll be contacted over the weekend. This is the WORST property management company I have ever been with. The house was not fully cleaned when we moved in (marks on walls, carpets dingy, etc) and we made note of the damages when we moved it. When we moved out we requested to be present at the walk-through and they refused to have us there. We paid a $1400 deposit and only received $94 back?! The manager, Valerie, refuses to call us back. This company is horrible! They also require a 6 month inspection of the property and will comment on the way you keep house. DO NOT go through this company! read more

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE! This company is under new management starting end of 2015 run by husband and wife whose head bigger than anyone can imagine. With this in mind, the culture of this new management is no different and far deserving to be given a one star. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy (that's how bad it is). We dealt with the old Centurion for many years and had no issue with money. Since this new management took over, we had to deal with several questionable expenses being deducted from our account without owner authorization. Forget trying to bringing any accounting issues to the owners attention, the husband will be the first to wash his hands and instead of figuring out a solution he will be the first to argue with homeowners. The customer service is horrible both in tenants point of view. Our tenants were elated when we made a switch away from this company. We took a financial hit, not having been notified of the management sale and unfortunately our contract had just renewed. The closeout was a nightmare but we are extremely glad to have terminated our ties. No amount of money is worth the headache to continue any relationship with these people. Such a shame! A name once reputable has become a disgrace. Please look into a different company instead. read more

Unfortunately I have to same problem with everybody else on here except the one random 5 star which doesn't even give enough info for conviction especially when you experience this company first hand. DO NOT go through this company. House looked fine when we moved in, 12 things broke within the first 8 months of living there, and we were charged for every single thing...including the sink..dish washer..washer and drying..pipes.. WATER HEATER! Even though they are all technically classified as major appliances for the company to be responsible, we still got billed. Fought them over and over to not pay, since that is our right and not our responsibility, about the fifth or six call AND e-mail later we got a simple response that this was "billed wrong" and "of course they will take care of it." This might have been believable or tolerable if THE SAME EXACT SITUATION occurred every time. Thank's to my dad who is in real estate I know my right when renting a unit. I fell sorry for the people who don't know any better and would have paid hundreds or thousands in our case of bills for a mistake THEY WRONGLY CHARGED FOR...SCAM!!! Oh and upon move out we requested to be there for the inspection, set up an appointment. The lady was late FOUR HOURS (maybe more..I left after that..) Never picked up her phone. The office had no idea what or who I was talking about...when they did they had no answer for me. Said they would reschedule and never got back to me....only the find out THEY CHARGED US FOR THE APPOINTMENT, they also only gave about 8% of the deposit back over things that were marked down in the first check list but holding us accountable for it, for things that were not even wrong (we had the pictures to go against it-TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY) AND once again for major appliances... Disputed..fought..called..emailed..set up meeting that they never showed up to..and still no where. I would LOVE to take them to court, but to be honest, I'm out of their choke hold and want NOTHING more to do with these people. They received the payment on the 1st which was Friday. they kept the check with them until Monday the 4th and charged me late fees; I called and talked with Donna (she acted like 5 year-old girl) then I assumed this company is filled with an immature workers; liars, manipulative and broke, and they can do anything to charge you money. Honesty, I have never been late in the past 20 years. If you need a repair: you have to wait months and when you call to remind them they will tell you: this is consider wear and tear: a bathroom that is leaking is wear and tear, electricity doesn't work is wear and tear, etc... I don't recommend these liars to any decent person. If you are a lousy tenant this company is good for you so you can keep screwing with them; it's really an entertaining company in terms of stupidity if you have free time; this really save you a lot of money you may need to spend for any other entertaining/movie/theatre. Make sure you do not pressure yourself, just talk with any of them and drag them to keep talking, once you get tired or bored just shut her (usually her) up; they all hers anyway. Their Laughlin office was handling my management of Laughlin property and I did not get paid for two months last Jan and Feb this year. I called and found out that they deducted service performed by one of contractor they called. Two month later until I confronted, they never bother to inform about that service and deducted $1,100 from my rental money. The invoice amount was little less than that. The office person even had my login info for my HOME WARRANTY CO and they could have called for the service, but I found out that they never placed service call. I tried to get reimbursed for it from home warranty co. but since they never placed service call, they denied. Now the tenant is long gone and I don't know if any service call was even made. One thing for sure it that I did not get paid while my tenant paid rent to them. Finally I got 1/2 of normal rent amount after 2 months of no payout for me. This is worst case from my rental property management company. The head office in Las Vegas don't take any responsibility nor not even considering any reimbursement. This is by far the WORST management company I have ever seen. They do not follow the laws and not the Nevada Revised Statutes for landlord tenant laws. My landlord switched our contract over to them with no notification to us. I received a 5 day notice which had all incorrect information on it. Then they locked me out of my house while I was trying to move-out after I sent them a letter that they did this illegally they set up a time to come get my stuff then some how filed an eviction. I am an unfortunate renter from this company.... first water bill was for OVER $500.00, obvious problem, possible water leak.... I chased after them for over 3 months to reimburse my $500 I HAD to pay to LVVWD but, they NEVER followed up on ANY OF IT! I even "paved the way" by calling everyone they had to speak with to take care of the situation and get my money back! They NEVER did their part! The staff at Centurion is top notch. They are excellent communicators and have proven to be true to their word. All of our requests have been handled in a timely manner and we have never had to wait for them to reach out to us. We have found that email is the best way to get in touch and we get replies very quickly. The properties are clean. This is a good company. People always get frustrated with "landlords," but these are hard working people and we have had no complaints in our many, many dealings with them. read more

We have dealt with many property management companies over the years due to several corporate relocations for business purposes. From this, we have developed a reasonable expectation for property managements companies and how they respond to tenants. We can say without hesitation Centurion is the most unprofessional company we have ever come across. From the time we signed the lease, we have had nothing but issues (we will check Yelp first before our next move). We went in two weeks in advance, signed our paperwork, paid all monies due in full, and let them know we would pick up the keys, etc. on the date discussed. We also called before we headed over so they knew to expect us. Not only was our move in documents not pulled, they had no keys. An issue, since it was Friday afternoon, and the movers were showing up to move us the next day on Saturday. To our surprise, the receptionist said there was nothing she could do until Monday, and waived us away. We literally had to refuse to leave before someone came out from the "back" to resolve the problem. Mind you, this took over two hours....... Upon arriving at the house, we found that it hadn't been cleaned, and there were many items that needed to be addressed. As we had the movers scheduled, we cleaned and did what needed to be done in order to move in. That Monday, we turned in our walk through list to Centurion, and she (same receptionist) looked at and said we had too many items noted and that couldn't be right! She gave us the deer in head light look, then hesitated on taking the documents. We insisted on a copy, even though we had one; it was just to be sure she understood we were not "going to reduce" the items noted. We have followed all their guidelines/systems for work requests, and four months later, we are still waiting. We have called, emailed, faxed, and personally gone to their office. We have an excellent renter history, and we have always paid our rent in advance. Every landlord has been surprised to find their property in exceptional condition upon our departure, and we never have had an issue with the return of our deposits funds. Be very careful considering this company. We used for 4 years without much incident, but that was because we had good tenants. Not very flexible when closing out services. our contract auto-renews without notification of such, so when tenants gave notice to move we were already at the beginning of a new contract and they will not waive any cancellation fees ($250)! a nice end to the relationship. We will not be using them to manage again, and they have lost a frequent recommendation from a Military family that moves often. Yet another review that would give zero stars if it were possible. This is a poor excuse for a rental company. The office is run by unprofessional scam artists that are clueless about laws that pertain to leasing. We are a military family that gave separation orders to the company requesting to break our lease with a 30 days notice. The manager Maddie wrongfully informed us we could not use separation orders to break the lease time after time when we would bring them proof of the law and what it states. It wasn't until we got a lawyer involved that they sent a spiteful email informing us we can in fact break the lease with military orders and we have less than a week to get out of our rental property-then they took our whole deposit AND kept over a weeks worth of rent that I had paid in the beginning of the last month and stated they were keeping that for deposit money as well. I also met through base a military woman who had orders that was dealing with the same company, same employees and same problem of not being able to break her lease with military orders. Throughout the whole process of moving and having to teach them the laws that pertain to their job duties, they don't show up for scheduled meetings and shut the office down during duty hours. I agree that this is the worst management service ever. I have been with them for a year and a half and it has been nothing but bad experiences. When I moved in there was some damages (some were minor), so I filled out the paper work ( tenant check list), and to this day several of the issues have not token care. Recently my refrigerator went out and it took them two weeks to have it fixed and I lost about $ 50 dollars worth of meat. Just about two weeks later, it broke again leaking water all over the floor. When I moved in the carpets were old but cleaned. When I moved out , they didn't return my deposit back and they said they are going to change the carpet. The sink disposal was working but they told me that it does not work and they changed it. It was mounted already about a year ago. WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EVER. I moved in to the house 3637 evening fog in April of 2013. When we moved in, the linoleum was peeling, the garage wall was covered in bicycle tire marks, volleyball marks, baseball marks. Just filthy. The washer they expected us to use had a gigantic dent in it, so I brought my own. Half of the kitchens electric goes out consistently, and no one was ever sent to fix it. We were given garage door remotes that didn't work, and they never sent replacements or someone to program them. Despite me constantly calling, we never had anyone come to our house. In fact, the yearly check up appointment that they do was even cancelled, because of an "emergency" when I had planned my work and daycare schedule around that inspection. The windows were cracked, screens were missing, and they never replaced those either. They told us they would landscape the backyard, and they never did. Whenever you call the office, you get the run around, no one knows who's doing what. Everyone is completely clueless. To top it off, when we moved out they kept our $1,500 security deposit, as well as charged us an additional $677 in damages to their piece of crap house. All without contacting me or approving anything with me, they scheduled the walk through for a time we couldn't be there and conveniently they don't have a list of the damages we are being charged for. I'm thinking I'm going to set up a table in front of their office to tell anyone who enters that they are a bunch of scam artists and to rent elsewhere. Much hate to centurion.
