Asked about fair market value for a property and was told well this is the price it is listed at. Was told nothing was his fault and things are not in his job duties. When I commented on the lack of professionalism he said he runs things by his director who insured him he wasn't doing anything wrong. Last I thought realtors helped guided the home buying process, reminded clients of due dates and made sure questions that came up were answered. NEVER rent from 96 East (1601 N Randall Av,Janesville). They have leasing signs outside their…read moreproperty right now b/c they're redoing the box size apartments AND they raised the rent to a ridiculous amount just for putting in flooring instead of carpet. Kitchen is so small, the refridge sticks out where you cannot open cupboards and if you like tiny "camping" size stove....good luck trying to cook. The bathroom is so small, a heavy person could not function. There has been SIX different managers when I rented in 2024 for 8 months. They cannot keep help or managers. If you like Charlie Manson......meet your maintenance man. He wreaks of cigarette smoke and body odor and has dirty long hair (at 1st I thought he was a homeless person). There's a trouble maker resident 96 East keeps around b/c she spies on everyone and tells management. She is loud, swears all the time, and is a nuisance by the main entrance. LOTS of hidden fees and if you have animals, plan on spending an outrageous amount of money monthly b/c. The place is loud, dirty and smells. Let's say it is a fine place for the down and out, criminal history, etc. 96 East will rent to anyone. I broke my lease and threatened them with attorney if they didn't give my security deposit back (they gave it back out of fear). NEVER RENT from SPAULDING Group. That experience was a nightmare. Criminal activity in parking lot, you must pay monthly for parking, just an overall disgusting, horrible experience. RUN as fast as you can AWAY from this poorly, dangerous building.
