A True Miracle Worker - "He Gave Me My Life Back!" If I could give Dr. Simon more than five stars, I would. I was in a desperate, heartbreaking place before I found him. Following an MVA, I was diagnosed with various injuries and was eventually confined to a wheelchair for almost two months, and I felt like I was completely out of options. I had seen a parade of specialists--orthopedic doctors, Spine specialist, physiatrist, physic al therapist, and pain management doctors--to no avail. My experience with other medical professionals was deeply frustrating. The orthopedic doctors and spine surgeons essentially washed their hands of me after deciding against surgery- referring me to pain management, physical therapy, and physiatrist for epidurals . Each time an epidural was scheduled, the pain management team had to cancel the procedure because of pain induced high blood pressure. Physical therapy wasn't moving the needle, and I stopped taking opioids due to a real potential for dependency. By now, I was in a wheelchair and in constant pain. I felt completely stuck and hopeless. By the time I met Dr. Simon, I had practically run out of options. Dr. Simon looked at me and said he was going to try to help me. And he actually did. Within just 5 visits, the impossible happened: I was out of the wheelchair and using a walker. After a few more visits, I progressed even further--I was able to walk short distances without a walker and now , within 4 weeks of seeing Dr, Simon, I am walking completely off my walker and walking independently! After months of hitting brick walls with specialists, Dr. Simon is the one who finally got me back on my feet--literally and figuratively. He has given me a brand-new lease on life, and I truly don't know what I would have done without him. I am forever grateful for his compassion, dedication, and skill. Dr. Simon is very knowledgeable when it comes to chronic pain associated with various conditions. As someone who lives with fibromyalgia and genetic autoimmune disorders, I was concerned that chiropractic treatment would only worsen my symptoms. There are little knickknacks in the waiting area that remind you to live your life at its fullest, and I think the practice really strives to help each individual feel that way. When I tell you Dr. Simon works miracles!!!...After years of chronic pain, I had forgotten how much my body was supposed to move! With Dr. simon's help, my balance got better, I was able to walk difficult terrain (with my cane), and I felt significantly less pain! Enough gushing, down to the practical: 1. Everyone wears a mask, and they require you to, as well. 2. Appointments are typically about 30 min long and the schedule is flexible for after-work hours. 3. Hand sanitizer is readily available. 4. Wow! Where do I start?! Dr. Simon has been such a blessing. He listened to what I had to say in the initial consultation more than any doctor I had ever been in the presence of before. He is so compassionate and kind, and I feel those qualities are incredibly important to have in any kind of field where you're caring for others and their pain. Not to mention, he has such a great personality. We laugh and carry on great conversations at every appointment, he's very easy to talk to, and I always look forward to our appointments. He helped me go from waking up with migraines every day to having none at all! I started seeing him for neck and back pain from a wreck that had never been addressed, I had started having migraines and tension headaches that progressed from every once in a while to every day, over the course of a couple years. I started coming in as often and I could, and he used methods that another chiropractor I had seen previously had never introduced to me. When I got rear-ended a month or so after beginning treatment, I called the office to set up some extra appointments to get taken care of, and he personally called me to check in when he heard what happened. Dr. Simon is the BEST! I made an appointment there with not knowing what to expect from chiropractic. I had barely any rotation in my neck and suffered from migraines for all of my life. Headaches would put me down for days with no relief. Dr. Simon made me feel comfortable from our first visit and devised a plan for me to start feeling better.
