I came for an eye exam and felt like Dr Wolfish really was annoyed and short with me. The light was bright (I get it) and my eye wanted to squint . She seemed rough with me. This isn't my first eye exam in my life. ( She studied this topic, she can see my eye condition , whatever that maybe. I am here to learn her findings. She talked to her staff member who is note taking. She abruptly asked "do you have questions ? " I then asked "how are my eyes? Am I ok? Any aging issues if so any recommendations? ") She shrugged and looked at me and didn't have much to say. She didn't give me a Diagnosis or results of the many tests. I didn't have a comfortable experience with her, unfortunately. I drive a Scool Bus for the local School District. I had an issue with my eye and was scared it was going to affect my vision. I called and told them what I do and why I was concerned. They made me wait 3 weeks. When I was finally seen by Dr Brodowski he recommended eye drops and for me to see a specialist within their practice in Southampton. I had to wait another 3 weeks to be seen. In the meantime, the eye drops I was prescribed were not going to last as long as the doctor had ordered. You would think it would be a simple fix right? Wrong. The office staff acted as though this situation had never happened before. Dr Brodowski ended up calling me and blaming me for this situation. I explained that I have children's lives in my hands and he did not care. He said they are the most popular eye care practice and they would not miss me. I explained to him that having vision insurance is a luxury and that he should learn his demographic. He laughed. I guess when you're making a doctor's salary you don't care about the little people. I went to the appointment to see the specialist and they informed me that I was no longer welcome as a patient. I again explained my job and the importance of my vision and they did not care in the least. I never received a phone call or letter stating that Dr Brodowski dropped me as a patient. I had to take off work, unpaid, to go the that appointment. The moral of the story is that as long as this practice is taking in money hand over fist they cannot be bothered with my eyesight or the safety of your children. read more

I waited almost 2 months for an appointment and then few days before my appointment I was left a voicemail being told I had to reschedule because the doctor I was suppose to see is not doing routine eye exams. Trash! No regard for patient's time. Cancelled two appointments on me at the last minute. Did care that I lost two days of work. First time I went in the office to complain and found out they had overbooked the doctor???? Second time due to flooding in the lot behind the business (not the business itself). Apparently it was too much to have the employees park on the streets surrounding that were unaffected by the flooding. read more

I have been here a few times for my Mother In-Law's eye appointments. It's really not a bad drive and the parting is pretty easy with it being an open lot and not a garage. My Mother In-law makes her appointments with enough advance notice and even if it's been an emergency they always manage to fit her in, because they must. With that said, I am not 100% sure what is with the front desk staff, I think they at some point either had a group meeting to get it "together" or what.. because as patients walk in and stand in front of the desk, they are pretty much ignored and some patients are UP there in years so standing around waiting and waiting isn't a good idea, the girls can be abrupt and even down right rude. The last time we went, I really watched what was going on because you can be great Dr's which I have no complaints, but if your staff is rude, unsmiling, too busy to be polite and kind to the patients that are the ones that's hard earned money is going to the business, well, that's just downright unacceptable. So, I am glad it was a different this last visit but keeping the 2-Stars for now. read more

Love my doctor but the office staff needs some help. Arrived at 11:35 am for my 11:45 am appointment. At 12:15 I went to the front desk. Oh are you signing in? No, I signed in for my 11:45 appointment and I haven't been called back. I need to get back to work. Oh let me check on what is happening. She comes back out. She is looking at your chart. The person who was looking at my chart calls me back. She is now in a rush. And she clearly didn't read my chart until I entered the room. Love the staff, but misrepresenting their fees means I won't be going back. I was told onsite that I'm covered through my insurance, but they sent me a bill anyway a few weeks later for $138 for a simple eye exam, AFTER INSURANCE. So I have waited almost 2 weeks before posting this. My primary had referred me to this practice so I could have my optic nerve examined. I had a 5pm appointment. It was a pretty busy afternoon so I was willing to give some leeway on attitudes but what I received was way worse then anything tolerable. The women behind the front desk were all so extremely rude! They were having issues getting my insurance info on their screen and made it seem like it was all my fault. I should have walked out right then. I waited for over an hour to be seen by the first technician who took measurements of my eyes and performed all the tests. Then I had to wait another 25-30 minutes to be seen by the physician. He walked in to the room with a technician at his side and only spoke to her as if I were unconscious. He examined the photos the prior technician had taken but never examined my eyes himself. He was in the room for possibly 3 total minutes before spouting off some technical jargon to his assistant for record. The only thing he said to me during this short "exam" was "you need to come back in a few months, don't go disappearing on us". I think this statement tells everything you need to know about this facility. Then to top it off all the staff had left by the time I was done with my appointment, almost 2 hours after my scheduled time, and so they were not able to schedule my next appointment right then so they told me they would call me the next day to schedule something. Made the mistake of ordering contacts through this office. When I picked my contacts up, I was told the balance was $30, so I paid and left. A few months later, I'm checking my credit report and find that they sent me to collections for an additional $27 that they never informed me about. When I called the office and asked why they didn't call me or tell me when I picked my contacts up that it would be more than what they asked for, the girl tells me "I don't know, I wasn't there" and "we have a lot of patients, we can't call everyone for something like that." I guess it was easier to call and sell my debt to a collection firm then?? Real nice. NEVER AGAIN will I go to this office, their doctors are decent, but their front office staff is inept and rude. I have completely lost trust in this office / company as a whole. I was in the market to buy a house and could not because of the newly added "collection" on my credit report. I came in today and felt relieved after leaving!!! I was unsure at first due to the thought of having something stuck in my eye from work back in 2011. I was unsure if I had a small piece of wood or ceiling insulation stuck in there. At times I would feel better but it got really irritant recently so I scheduled an appointment. Basically I realized that after their doctor looked into my eye... That his light can see inside and through your eye. And checked around the eye also. I was glad to hear that nothing was in there and that basically I have been feeling severe dry eye in the center of my eyes. I had lasik also years ago, which is why I use eye drops but I haven't been adding sufficient eye drops too the middle face of the eye. I am very sensitive and inexperienced at using the eye drops so this explains why I thought something was behind my eye or in my eye. After a few hours.... I can see fine again and my comfort is actually at a max. My tip when adding eye drops is simply squeeze a few drops onto the far inside of my eye, closest too your nose on each side. Then tilt your head down with the ear facing downward too let the eye drops roll towards the proper inner eye. Close your eyes for 20seconds and repeat if u feel there are more parts of your eye that are still dry. This works better than how I used to add my eye drops. I used to put them in but they would mainly just roll towards the outer side of my eyes and behind them quickly. Without closing them also, thus leaving the eye before being properly absorbed. This is all my eyes really needed. I am pleased now and feel much better with my life. The doctor was very good and patient in making sure he understood what I was feeling and coming up with ways to help me. read more
