"Super fast" "above and beyond" "extremely competent" "excellent communication and responsiveness" are the COMPLETE opposite of how I would choose to describe her. From the very beginning she has been difficult to work with. I had to work with her on renting out a unit at a brand new apartment building. Getting her to send out our lease was difficult. She kept pushing back saying she was "working on it" and then there was "server issues" and that she would get it to us by tomorrow afternoon (which was a saturday). Saturday evening I contacted her regarding the lease and if there was any issues holding it up to which she responded "Yes, it's the weekend". First of all, she was the one who informed me it would be done Saturday. Had she said Monday, I would have waited until Monday. Ok that was one annoying thing right? Well I let that slide because we got the leases signed and sent off. When I went to go drop off the security deposit I met her in person for the first time and she was really great in person (but where the heck is this person over text/email?!) She handed the keys off to me and my roommate and I thought that would be the end of our interactions. WRONG. The keys she handed us were completely wrong. We weren't able to enter the apartment at all because the physical keys weren't the right ones and the keypad was out of battery... imagine the frustration... Again I let that slide. Now here's where I just decided I had to let the world know my frustration. Our apartment is brand new and with no management on site we have to voice all of our concerns to Sharon. I have contacted her multiple times regarding getting our apartment cleaned before our move-in date (never happened). Maintenance came by right after our move in date to check everything and address the concerns we had. I had asked them specifically about the W&D and whether it was ready to use or not. They confirmed it was ready, so I went ahead and started using it. WELL they didn't bother to check whether or not the output drain for the washer was ever actually secured so it FLOODED our laundry area. Now I'm extremely irritated because not only had I addressed this with Sharon but FOUR guys came in and not one noticed anything wrong which in the end caused a flood in our apartment. After I cleaned up the mess at 1AM on a work night, I sent an extremely long email to Sharon addressing all of my concerns and complaints. I expected her to forward this email to the maintenance or management of the apartment. WELL she didn't. I talked to maintenance because they were supposed to come into my unit yesterday to fix things (which I reluctantly locked my dog in her kennel all day for while I was at work) and they never came by. This morning I saw maintenance again and asked why they hadn't come to which they responded that they never received anything from Sharon regarding things that needed to be fixed in our apartment!!!!!!! SO she been a horrible middle man between the tenants and the apartment management which is her JOB. I understand she has a ton of tenants under her management, but it is completely unacceptable how many times she has neglected to communicate the right things to the right people or address ANY issues I've had. If she can't handle this job, then she needs to get someone else to help or just pass the job onto someone more capable. I've let so many things slide but one thing after another is just ridiculous. If you need things dealt with in a timely manner and accurately, do not go to Sharon unless you want the biggest headache and to be completely neglected.
