I've had CEO etc. Internet service for 3 years. It is perhaps the most poorly run business and LEAST RELIABLE of any ISP I've ever had. Need tech support? - they won't answer during business hours (happened 3 separate times) Want to stream your TV? - count on random outages at least 3-4 times per week, mostly on Friday nights and Saturday mornings (happens like clockwork, and has been going on for over a year). If you have a choice where you live, definitely choose suddenlink. read more

Horrible internet provider but we are stuck with these highwaymen. Suddenlink is miles better and cheaper! Fiber line goes out every week and they never call you back. Living in the country, you only have a few available ISPs, so when you have the option of unlimited data, you take what you can get. We experienced over a year at our new home of unreliable, slow, and at most times non-existent internet with CEO. Thought that bad internet was just something we'd have to live with living outside the city limits, but after switching to Brazos WiFi, we have seen a night and day difference in reliability and speeds. CEO's support staff is understaffed, unknowledgeable, and slow to respond. We regularly experienced close to 30 minute or more wait times on hold for a support member, whose only advice was "try unplugging your equipment, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in". After months of requesting their technicians to come out, we finally convinced them that the unplug/replug strategy wasn't working and they scheduled technicians to come out 4 weeks out. Our internet worked better for about a week and then went back to terrible. At that point we made the switch to Brazos WiFi. read more

We live just outside College Station so we have very limited options for internet, all of which are either satellite or wireless. We have been on CEO for about a year and it has been nothing short of a total disappointment for the entire time. I tracked speed results over 8 months which averaged 6.8MBPS D/L which is pathetic, especially when they claimed it was 25-30 MBPS. The HIGHEST I have ever seen was 15.9 which would be barely acceptable given their speed claims, but what we got is pathetic and totally unacceptable. They sent a tech out but he was not able to improve the speed. I sent an email to the sales office with a complaint along with a copy of my test results from about 6 months but never had a reply. So much for "customer service". BTW, we have a nice MIMO mesh router capable of 100MPBS so I know our router is not the problem, nor are we gamers. Unfortunately, two other services I tried were equally bad with Hughes net being the worst. I didn't know that NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT could exist in a business that offers service to the public. CEO Technology refuses to answer the phone so I can pay the bill, and the customer portal online is impossible to create. In my opinion they are ripping off the seniors at the senior complex where I live. We have no choice but to purchase their service. If there is a Senior Support organization out there that can address this abuse, please do step forward and address this issue with CEO. I've been trying (unsuccessful) to reach them. I contacted support (a different department) and he said he would transfer me to the billing department. After waiting a few minutes, he gets back on the phone and says It's disrespectful that they are not answering and would bring the matter to the attention of his boss. Four hours later, still no response. So I contacted the sales department, and the lady that answered says the person that works in the billing department had to drop her kids off at school and that she probably wouldn't be in until 10am (God honest truth--raise my right hand to God) Well it's 12:40 now, and billing still refuses to answer. Is this like okay to treat the elderly like this, (no customer service) when most of us probably don't know what a gigabyte is? So now I'm just trying to pay the bill (as agreed to in the service order. And they (CEO Technology) is screwing up my credit, and creating late charges, by refusing to answer the phone. read more

They have admittedly over subscribed their south college station towers. This is a very preventable thing and should have been avoided. I've been working with them for 6 months trying to get the advertised speeds that I'm paying for. In that 6 months of me sending speed tests and documenting the problem for them, I have never been offered a credit or been provided a solution other than, "hang in there, we are working on it" 6 months is long enough to wait, which is a shame because they really did have a great service. read more

I can not say enough good things about the service from CEO. When we purchased a home in South College Station, we soon realized that our options for wireless service and cable television were limited. After trying to gather information for recommendations online without much success, we began making phone calls. When phoning CEO, we liked the options/prices they offered and ordered the service and installation. The 2 young men who installed our televisions along with the wireless and Direct TV were fantastic. Our internet service has been as good or better than the FIOS service we had in Dallas. I called CEO 3-4 months ago after I saw one of their signs posted on the road to my house. After providing address and zip, I was assured they could service the area where I live. I had to finish a contract with my current provider before I could switch. Now the contract I had is over and CEO tells me they cannot service my location after all. In addition, they never contacted me after I completed their on-line contact form, and after two more calls I made to them, I had to call (a final time) to find out the results of their site survey. Apparently they did not intend to call me with the results. So tired of bad customer service from companies - glad I found out about this one ahead of time. read more
