AVOID CERAMIC TILE PLUS. Alison (Store Manager and my Account Manager) didn't inform me that by tile was backordered. I flew to Maui to supervise and coordinate the tile install only to find out the tile hadn't even shipped yet. This delay cost me over $5,000 plus my time and a loss of 2 months of rental. In addition, one tile I ordered was so backordered, I had to delete my accent feature. A simple phone call was never made, nor an apology. BUYER BEWARE. We picked out a granite slab last year while on island. We hired Ceramic Tole Plus to fabricate the granite. Not only did we not get the correct granite, the fabrication job was horrible. We talked to the owner and we're offered a 20-% discount for another counter. We hired NEXT LEVEL to replace our countertops at a better price as the 20% discount that was offered from Ceramic Tile Plus. If you don't care about the look of your counters, hire Ceramic Tile. I had a sparkle quartz countertop fitted by Ceramic Tile Plus when I purchased a kitchen through Lowes and they did a great job. When I decided to remodel my bathrooms I wanted to use the same tile as my kitchen so my contractor suggested using offcuts of the sparkle for the windowsills to keep everything in the house matching. Such a great idea! He went down to CTP and they had plenty of offcuts to choose from out in the front parking lot, and to my JOY all the money goes to HARF dog rescue on Maui!!!! How fantastic is that? They ask you to make the cheque out to HARF so you know they are getting every penny. Plus it is a tax deductible purchase for me......could it get any better? I think not!! My husband and I recently finished a complete "gut" remodel of our new home here on Maui, so we needed EVERYTHING (cabinets for four rooms, countertops, floor and bath tile). Ceramic Tile Plus has a great selection of everything to choose from for each of these materials, with much of it in stock (which really helps when you need things quickly and also eliminates additional cost for shipping). The owner, Jim, was great to work with and he regularly gives back to the Maui community in many ways. Heather and Liana probably saw us more than they would have liked, but with all of the decisions we needed to make, they were super helpful in narrowing down colors and materials. We had a few issues with some cabinets that were damaged during shipping from the mainland, but Ceramic Tile Plus reordered everything and kept on it until everything was corrected. We purchased a vacation rental in December 2020 and set up a remodel for April. Our contractor directed us to two different stores for tile. We ended up finding everything we wanted at CTP, with a mix of In-Stock and special order. Wendy was very helpful when Alison had a line of people waiting to see her. And Alison was fantastic - professional and responsive through the entire process (to include a potential backorder situation on a special order item.) My husband and I had such a positive experience with Ceramic Tile Plus. They were able to help us redo our kitchen cabinets and counter tops, as well as, our bathroom vanity and counter. I went into purchase quartzite countertops. The quality of the material I purchased was very poor. By the time it got to my place to be installed it was little I can do. The edges needed a lot of work because they were delaminating and backsplash was low grade material that did not match the countertop.. if you're looking for quality material don't come here. read more

HELP! I bought a condo and I don't know what to do! I know I want a granite countertop and I need a floor but wait I'm having an anxiety attack..... Yup. This was me when I bought my first home ever, a condo in lovely Kehalani. I needed help. And granite. And flooring. So I headed to Ceramic Tile Plus because I had met the owner, Jim, and felt comfortable with him. From the moment I walked in and spoke with Simona I was cared for. Oh how much do I love Simona? Did you know CTP has a coffee station in the back? Well they do and that Simona can make a mean latte while you are trying to figure out what the hell to buy. So between Simona and Jim all of my needs were met. Their Evermore Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring is the stuff dreams are made of. I love love love my floor. It makes me happy every time I walk in the door. I purchased some Typhoon Green granite at a deep discount, that looks great too. Although I did have to have it resealed a couple of months later.... We purchased tile from Ceramic Tile Plus for a shower remodel and kitchen backsplash. This store has so much tile to choose from and a lot of it is there to pick up (no waiting for it to come from the mainland). We encountered an issue with the backsplash tile and the problem was quickly resolved. They went out of their way to correct this issue and that often does not happen, unfortunately. When we remodel out last shower, we will return to Ceramic Tile Plus to buy our tile. read more

Nice store. Good selection. Helpful sales staff. B U T... I purchased their Toscana kitchen cabinets. They are made in China and the finish is very poor. I applied some 3M blue painter's tape to a cabinet for a couple of days to mask the cabinet from painting I was doing. When I removed the tape the finish of the cabinet came off with the tape. 3M blue tape is designed to be removable from almost any surface without causing damage. The finish on these cabinets was so poor it pulled off with the tape. I asked about warranty, but they said it was my fault and I would have to buy a new cabinet. Other than the quality of these cabinets I like the store and the other products I have purchased from them over the years. However now I have a kitchen and bath full of cabinets that I don't expect to look very good for very long. I should not have purchased in-stock cabinets, I should have ordered cabinets from a traditional cabinet maker that offers a reasonable warranty. The cabinet manufacturer doesn't even make stain available to help me repair the cabinet. They won't even disclose whether the stain they use is water based or oil based. I had hoped to add a clear coat over the most vulnerable surfaces but the manufacturer won't disclose anything helpful to me. read more

I have nothing good to say about these folks. The person that helped us seemed to be on opiates and was barely coherent at times. A copy was made of my kitchen layout (with measurements) and transferred into a computer with the wrong measurements. There were too many cabinets made for my kitchen, which not only meant the dimensions for some had to change, but also I was way overcharged. The person that I had worked with acted like it was my fault her dimensions did not jibe with what she had been given in writing and expected me to pay for her mistake. I insisted on being reimbursed, but got gouged on the reconfigured cabinets. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I have visited this store 3 or 4 times over the decade of living on Maui and I have to say they have the worst customer service I've ever seen. I have never felt welcomed and every employee I have interacted with has treated me like I'm bothering them and speaks to me in a very condescending tone. The tile I wanted was only available here at Ceramic Tile Plus, however, when it arrived, no one called me and it sat for quite a few days before I called to see if it was in-it was. Overall, a decent experience. It is disappointing that they charge a freight charge on top of the tile cost that is unknown until the product arrives. You would think there would be a better system in place for accurate pricing. read more

Ordered a bit of tile for our complete remodel of bathrooms and kitchen. All of the marble tile accent (Medley Random) came in broken pieces. The complete order of them are broken. Also some bullnose tile was ordered and paid for but never received or was I given a credit. Not completely satisfied. read more

Not, too, happy. Had a scheduled appointment for measurement. The hour came and went. Called to see where the guy was only to find out he hadnt even left the store yet! Obviously, the customers time isnt important and making them wait with no phone call is ok. Made it for the next hour and the guy wasnt, exactly, on time, but much quicker than the first time and the person that came was, very, pleasant. Now, I find out it will take 14 or more days before they can do the, actual job. When the contract was made the salesperson assured us the turnaround from time of measurement to installation was quick. Not sure what happened but we are not happy with the way they schedule. Also, they dont work after 2pm. What company doesnt work after 2pm on a business day? Hoping things will work out, but not holding our breaths. read more

What started as a customer attentive experience turned into a buyer beware with unanswered calls by MS. Ellie the granite specialist. They suggested a handyman to create the plywood base @$1200 extra who speaks with CTP to determine rough measurements. Then CTP sends out their expert to make the final measurements. 1. They cut and delivered the wrong granite. 2. When they brought the correct granite they could not install it because the measurement was wrong. They said we had to get the handyman back the replace the plywood with a thinner piece as the granite would not fit. They said it was not their fault even though they had their expert guy come for final measurements. They handyman they recommended said it was not his fault as he got the rough measurements from CTP. Ms. Ellie refused phone calls after she declined responsibility. I am now trying to see if they even sealed the job as they promised! read more
