I want to share my story on how I found my advisors My first encounter with Cerda Munoz Advisors was at 3rd St Coffee. As I prepared my coffee, their business card was on the wall with the other thousand businesses in Downey. The card caught my attention as it looked like it had a halo logo so I wasn't sure if this was some sort of fellowship or life skills business. Regardless, I decided to do some research and realized they provide advice on managing your wealth. Ironically that same week I got a letter from my previous employer regarding my 401k and immediately I remembered Cerda Munoz Advisors and decided to schedule an appointment to discuss rolling over my 401k. On my initial consultation I met with Gilbert Cerda. Gilbert started the appointment by discussing exactly who they were, how they handle your business (and theirs), and most importantly the fees involved. Needless to say, within the first few minutes I realized how transparent Gilbert Cerda was. Gilbert talked about his family, his goals, Company philosophy and investment strategies. (he doesn't know this but) My ONLY expectation that day was to determine his transparency. Once I felt like I knew exactly what was going on, I began to make room for some Trust. So...
