In 2019, they excavated an area for the construction of a pole barn and trenched the electric line to it. I was extremely pleased with their work in 2019. Darryl did the excavation work himself and built a stone retaining wall in the process of excavation as well. This year, we finally paved our driveway and called Crable Paving & Excavating for an estimate. Darryl and his crew responded promptly with an estimate; ultimately, they were the best estimate with a price much better than a local competitor. The work was completed in two days (as promised, one for prepping the driveway and one for paving), and everything was completed to the highest standards. Darryl took the time to explain what was needed and why; on the day of paving, he even gave "lessons" about the paving process. Based on our experiences with this contractor, I would highly recommend Crable Paving & Excavating for paving or excavating work.

Well this is where I draw the line with how I am spoken to. First, you aren't the first person to get back to us. We literally had 8 other quotes, 2 of them on the same day of the request. Not a week later! Second, unless you are the best asphalt Contractor on the planet and can guarantee your work is free of needing repairs for life, Don't you dare presume to tell me that the contractor I selected is not good enough. Good points: The showroom staff was helpful and polite. The showroom is open on select evenings and Saturdays which was convenient. There were multiple hardwood flooring brands available on display making it easier to find the perfect color and style for my project. Scheduling a quote for the project was easy. A person visited my home within a week of me asking for the quote. The quote was available in a reasonable amount of time after the house was measured. The price quoted to me was comparable to other flooring companies I had researched. Financing was available through Wells Fargo bank. The process to get the financing was simple and only required me to fill out a short form. Bergey did the rest of the paperwork for the loan and then ordered the flooring once the money had been approved by the bank. The installers were knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of my property and belongings. They were respectful of my neighbors waiting until 8am to begin their work which limited the amount of disturbance to others. Not so good points: Although the entire process was seamless, I felt like I did not always know what was happening at any given time. It would have been nice to have a bit more communication between Bergey and myself. At times, I needed to chase for information. In my opinion, I should not have to chase for information. Bergey should have provided the information more readily instead of assuming I knew what was going on at any given stage of the project. I highly recommend using A.W.
