No giant needle. No numbing half the face. His bedside manor was great. The extraction was $60. A bit more than some other Mexican dentists, but he's far better than even most American dentists. I almost took a star off the rating over the $2000 price of an implant for me, but it's still less than an implant in America and American insurance will reimburse. They did for the extraction. I haven't gotten the implant yet (still saving for it), but I plan to soon.

He also spotted a small crack in an old amalgam filling that he repaired with resin. He was very professional and genuinely friendly. He answered all my questions and I never felt at all rushed. I then had my teeth cleaned and it was just excellent. The clinic is only a five minute walk from the border. It's not a jam-packed operation with dozens of staff and scores of patients. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. Everything is clean and everything I mentioned above was done for $150. In the U.S., I'm guessing I would have paid about $450 (Or I would have been sold a root canal.)

When my husband left the dental office he accidentally left his denim work shirt in the cleaning room. As soon as he came home, he mentioned he left his shirt there. He went back the next day at about 11:15am and the clinic was closed which seemed strange since the hours posted on the door don't indicate a lunch hour. He then went back there the following week and, the shirt was not there - hmmmmm..... So, cleaning was OK but, don't leave your valuables at this office!
