I also appreciate the fact that they will credit you the amount paid for the drawing if you order a boundary survey within a year of ordering a location drawing.

Meanwhile, they left me (and from what I understand many other clients) high and dry...my project is 99% complete, needing about 1 hour more of work to submit the final subdivision plat. Despite many, many requests, emails, and phone calls, Ben Robertson refuses to communicate with me or to do the right thing and finish the work. My alternative is to hire a new surveyor / engineer to redo most of the work that RDA already did, and that will cost me big time. I am looking for any other RDA clients in similar situations who might be interested in combining resources to nudge, or force, him to do the right thing. After months of her giving me excuses and the runaround I decided to list my unit myself using back channels since Re/Max controlled my listing and she was impossible to get ahold of, make updates, and followup with potential renters in a timely manner. She refused to show my listing to a prospective renter, opting to go to bible study instead. Within DAYS of listing my unit myself on Padder and Craigslist I had 7 showings and found a renter within the week. As a final SCREW YOU... since she lowered the price of my unit TWICE i had to honor the price she quoted on Zillow! In conclusion, only use this realtor if you like being frustrated, and love wasting time and money!

They had previous experience with another local management group and indicated that the experience was like night and day. I took the time to do some research and it came down to Silver River and another management company, I chose Silver River not based on price but based on the experience I had from my first inquiry. I needed one less thing to worry about and renting out my property became less of a chore than I know that it can be. Our initial meeting with Dan Stein was thorough, with comps to help us decide on a competitive rate and suggestions on improvements to get us ready to market. Once we made our decision, Dan handed over the reigns to Chris to complete the signing process, a seamless transition. Once our property was vacant, Channel took over and I had to invent things to worry about. By the time I reached out with a question or follow-up, Channel had our property rented out with a fully vetted tenant. It was dead winter and I was prepared for a worst case scenario that did not happen.Till this day I am happy with the decision to sign up with Silver River and Channel continues to be just as accessible and responsive as she was at the beginning. As a tenant, I would ABSOLUTELY not recommend this property management company. I have had nothing…read morebut issues with them and my property manager. My ability to pay online was terminated over an issue with my roommate's account. I was never notified that it was terminated and when I logged in to pay rent, surprise I can no longer pay online. Instead of being helpful and fixing the issue like she had the ability to do, my property manager threatened me with late fees if I did not drop off a certified check with only several hours notice. She was also extremely unresponsive to maintenance requests. I was told that wires coming down in the yard and tearing siding off the house was "beyond a normal maintenance request" and I would need to get the problem fixed myself. If the roof fell in would that be beyond a normal request and on me to fix?! Oh and she also tried to schedule the walk through several days before my move out date and before I had the place professionally cleaned. I got her to change the date but it didn't really matter because she charged me for having the place cleaned again anyways! Oh well, at this point I was already so over Silver River and their ridiculous antics. I am so relieved to be moved out of their property and into a rental where I am actually communicated with and treated with respect. I would not recommend moving into any of their properties under any circumstances, they do not have the tenant's best interest in mind, clearly they are just trying to make a buck for the property owners.
