Trying to use one ladder to both climb to the second story and then lift it up to use on the second story damaging my gutters because they were too lazy to get out their other ladders. Offered to let them use mine and they refused. The brother of the owner was supposed to supervise the job. He has low standards and left wet paint in huge globs running down the wall multiple times forcing me to go out myself and fix it. Didn't caulk correctly, didn't prep correctly. Missed areas of paint. Asked for a different crew and was refused because they booked another job. Had to let them go and pay people off the street to finish and paint myself at the same cost. They left me with a damaged house, poor workmanship and half the house unpainted. I would not recommend at all. If they cared, they would have gotten a crew in with higher standards to finish the job but they didn't, and instead booked a job with another customer. At the end of the season so forced to hire laborers to fix this work and have the rest of the house painted. Hire someone with higher standards as it's not this company.

Both of them were very informative and thorough with explaining the process, products, and (step by step) updates with our project. Their setup (plastic dome), preparation, and clean up were remarkable. It takes talent to make a plastic fort like that- and contain all that dust/fumes. They showed up everyday promptly at 8:00am and had our project completed right on schedule. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family!

They do not use painters tape. I had paid them 800.00 to stain my windows and they also took almost 2 weeks to finish. They would come promptly at 8am but leave everyday at 10:30 and than come back 30-45 min later than only stay until 1-2pm. I gave them over 1000.00 dollars and 2 jobs. I than asked them to give me a bid to paint my kitchen cupboards out of curiosity and wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt and they gave me a bid of $4,000.00!! I can get new cabinets installed for that price! They up charge their paint and Stephanie is not a professional painter btw. They have a long way to go to learn how to be more professional.

However I have to admit that the final results (including prep time and cleanup) are far better and considerably more meticulous than anything we could have done. I had a need for both exterior (+lead abatement) and interior work. While supply chain shortage of matching paint colors stretched out the overall project, AtheH (Randy in particular) kept me regularly informed and made sure that I didn't fall through the cracks during the prolonged process. In the end I am happy with the interior work. The exterior appears greatly improved as well. Alas, both required repeat visits but all was done at no extra cost and throughout reps were gracious and professional. As icing on the cake, my final fees were lower than the amount owed on the original invoice. I do remain a bit unclear as to exactly what the exterior lead removal (adhering to rigorous protocols) really did (other than add considerably to the price). Cost aside (and when I blanched I may well have been living in the past) all things considered I'm happy and satisfied. Oh what the heck, five stars it is.To my eyes Admire the Hue did great work. It's often been said: "You get what you pay for." In my experience a high price is no guarantee of high quality. However high quality almost always carries a higher price tag. I will clarify that I did raise these issues in an email to Randy well in advance of leaving a review. I received no response. It was only after I posted my review that a representative from the company left a message wanting to "discuss" how to improve their process. Other than stating it in a review, I do not believe they did offer to do anything to address the issues or provide a partial refund for the supposed prep work that was never completed. That said, when a Company has failed to supervise their workers such that your home is damaged every time they enter--I'm not sure why they believe we would want them to continue coming back to do the work they failed to do during the first 2 rounds of touch-ups. As time has gone on I have only become more unhappy with the work that was done. We have a lot of cracking, which should not happen in paint that's only a few months old if the area was prepped right. And in doing touchups I've found tape from prior paint jobs that they simply painted over, which is about as lazy as you can get.

They started by painting the exterior of the 1929 house. This included stucco paint, trim, repairing/replacing rotted wood. I even asked them to clean out my gutters (you know- since they already had their ladders up there ;)) all done with a smile. I've also had Welch Painting repair my crappy, popcorn ceiling after a water leak and it turned out fantastic. There is no project they can't perfect. They are also well trained in assembling bicycles it seems (even though it has nothing to do with painting). We were quoted the $2000 minimum and we were led to believe we might have a tough time getting to that amount but we agreed anyway. Final price was 3100 which was significantly higher and that included $200 of paint that was marked up (never told about markup) My recommendation is that Zeulli needs to do a better job on the front end of the estimate. I gave each painter $100 as a tip because They were good. Job was good and no complaints but very bad miscommunication about price soured me on the experience. And I am a fair and realistic person.

A few minor things here and there, but with a large job in a house where the surfaces weren't well maintained by the previous owners, I was more than pleased. There was one room that was getting multiple colors and it was initially done incorrectly, but they fixed it right away and were so polite about the mistake. The manager on the job walked through with me when everything was finished and touched up any spots that needed it. We then contacted them to paint some areas in our old home we were selling, and to paint the entire exterior of the new home. I will say this: it is hard to pick a house color from a tiny swatch, but it looks great, and very much needed the refresh. One complaint: there was a bird nest on a light fixture that I was expecting would have been removed during painting to paint the siding behind it. But when the job was completed, the nest was still there. I asked the manager and the painter if they painted behind the nest, and the painter said yes, he moved it aside and used a brush. Well the next summer, the nest blew down and there is an outline of the nest in paint, similar to what you would see in a cartoon. Not the biggest deal, we can climb a ladder and slap some paint up there, but when I specifically asked, I now see he was not quite honest about that part. The birds rebuilt their nest in about a week anyways and they aren't bad tenants, so I haven't evicted them yet. Maybe next summer.

We had some outdoor fascia trim that had rotted in some places, and had peeling paint in others. The parts on the second floor were notably harder to get to. We ran into a busy time for First Choice Handyman, so it took a few weeks to get on their schedule. However, it was definitely worth waiting for. Presly and Darius arrived when scheduled, cut out the trim portions that needed replacement and replaced them, painted these new pieces and any sections needing some additional painting, and finished in less time than originally estimated. So, the final price ended a little less than quoted! Kelsey started handling scheduling and communications more recently, and her responsiveness has been fantastic. We recently had them out to do a multitude of smaller repairs, and they were quick, thorough, and efficient. Definitely a winner!
