When I arrived, I noticed patients were waiting in the reception to see Dr. Bar-David. While I was waiting, I overheard Dr. Bar-David talking on his cellphone, telling someone that he is flying out to Israel Saturday night, and to make sure to have dinner ready. He then continued the conversation inside the examining room. While I waited, 3 more patients came in for appointments with Dr. Bar-David. I was finally called into an exam room at 10:40 AM, when a minute later, I was asked to leave the exam room by the nurse and told to wait outside. No sooner had I left the examining room and sat down than a patient who came in after me was called in to see Dr. Bar-David. He was seeing his existing patients first and having me wait when I had an appointment at 9:45 AM. At that point, I told the front desk to cancel my appointment and walked out at 10:47 AM. I called my insurance company and filed a grievance, just in case he files a claim for payment for services not provided. He is an inconsiderate and disrespectful doctor who has no consideration for patients' time.

The pain kept getting worse and I was contemplating about getting a cortisone shot, but after consulting with Dr. Hendizadeh and taking his advice about stretching and the use of orthotics, I can honestly say my foot is about 80% healed and it's just a matter of time before it's at 100%. I hardly leave reviews, but I have to say the facility is very clean, the entire staff was excellent (especially the young lady behind the desk) and last but not least what a pleasure it was meeting Dr. Hendizadeh. Specifically, our toddler son got injured and we got an x-ray of his foot done prior to our visit. Dr. Tabari looked at the x-ray but was unable to identify that toe was broken so determined that he needed to take an x-ray of the OTHER foot to see if our son was just "born this way"... Upon seeing that of course the other foot did not have a broken toe, the Dr. recommended that we use ice and have our son wear a tennis shoe at home for a month -- sounds pretty good, thankfully we sought a second opinion. We were extremely fortunate to get an appointment at HSS where the great doctors there immediately diagnosed the broken toe by it's technical name and began the path to recovery that unfortunately included surgery. In addition, they did not need to expose our son to a second x-ray to confirm that a broken toe was, in fact, a broken toe - they just knew how to read x-rays and understand how feet work. I am sure the Dr. is good for some things, but would not use him for any serious issues requiring potential surgery or broken feet. In addition, this is the only doctor's practice I have ever been to that charged my credit card for a deductible a month later without the courtesy of a phone call or sending an invoice ahead of time... we all understand how deductibles work but this was very unprofessional. And I am sure the charge for the extra, unnecessary radiation is a part of this charge. Biggest lesson - get a second opinion.

After five days I went to him again. He continued the procedure then by scraping the wart without a local anesthetic. The scraping had me howling in pain but still he continued on. I hobbled out of his office still crying but he had no empathy for the trauma I had just experienced! One month later, the wart returned.
