We recently had a 50+ year old wrought iron balustrade removed and replaced with a wooden balustrade. The stair contractor recommended Bernie to paint and stain the new balustrade. We initially hired him to paint and stain the new balustrade. While he was here we had him look at our living room ceiling that is 28 ft high and was showing many cracks from settling. Similarly, several walls in the front of the house had large cracks. We had him paint the ceiling and walls in addition to finishing the new bannister, rails, treads and stringers. This guy is good. Because he is good he is much in demand and heavily booked. However, he is well worth the wait. He is meticulous, covered all of our furniture and floors to ensure no paint got where it should not have been, completed the work within the time he estimated, and completed the project at the estimated cost.
