They are the single worst physicians I've seen in Florida so far and that is saying a lot. Quality of care is poor. They don't listen to anything you say. One office visit ran THREE HOURS!!! I started to see Dr. Linda Salva (who speaks fluent Spanish too) about over a year ago when my Insurance Plan changed and thought it was great to just have a Doctor only 8min away! It was a surprise to me, that after seeing "many" different doctors, I found her bedside manners respectful and she's down to earth, you feel comfortable talking to her about anything and she's not in a hurry to just see you and leave. She makes sure all my issues are addressed and even offers practical tips in taking care of myself... I also haven't had any issues with staff, they have always been helpful to my needs and "especially" if needing my blood drawn (which it's a challenge with me), so far, every girl has done it with EASE (no bruises)! So after being with this group for over a decade, they decided to stop taking Medicaid and only a handful of Medicare plans. They clearly only want to deal with private insurance companies now. So with less than a year till I am on Medicare, I have had to change doctors and start all over but don't worry, I will not come back here again. read more

I am new to the area and scheduled a physical in March with Dr. Balasubramanian. She had terrible bedside manner and seemed like she couldn't care in the least, I was literally asking her questions about my health and she was walking out the door. I had blood work done, and a nurse called me 2 weeks later and asked me to make an appointment, but couldn't tell me if my results were normal or cause for concern. Every other doctor I had ever been to, always calls me with my results or puts them in my portal. I cannot access my portal, I've called 3x to the front desk to get a code to get setup and no one ever calls me back. Today, after waiting for 2 months for an appt I went in for my annual women's health check. I waited 30 mins to get called to the room. The nurse was friendly and gave me the gown and said they'd be right in. The gown they gave me was for someone that is an XS and I am not that size. I waited another 30 mins in a robe that didn't fit then Sonia (the PA) came in. She was friendly, but clearly had not read my chart to know my history. She did not ask me any questions like every other experience I have had with a doctor. She then asked when my last bloodwork was...which if she had read my chart she would have seen it was at her office in March. She left the room, then a different nurse came in and asked me questions that seemed should have been directed to my doctor not me. They made me feel absolutely terrible about myself. I declined any further care and left the building in tears. It was such a terrible and humiliating experience. Having a doctor that prioritizes your health and builds trust is so important. I am a relatively young and healthy person but still have anxiety about the doctor and this office has proven twice that they are unable to meet my basic needs. If you are looking for a new doctor's office. This is NOT it. read more

I am updating my review. CFP now offers virtual appointments. Dr. Selznick and I had a great virtual experience. I have been going to this office for years. I love Dr Steve Selznick. He is kind, extremely knowledgeable, honest and the best thing that I love him for is he is very to the point. He told me my BMI was very high. He left the room I looked at the chart and to my surprise he was right. I am in my 50's and over the years it just keeps creeping up. My husband sees Dr Burrows and we both just love his bedside manner he is great. Dr. Burrows takes the time to throughly discuss your needs. I have 3 children and we all go there. The office offers pediatrics, GP and geriatrics and medical marijuana. read more

I received a notice my appointment cancelled at the last minute. When I asked why the front desk staff said they called me to inform me of the change but I hang up on them. This is the second time this happened. I let them know I would never cancel an appointment when I am in pain. They never left any voicemail asking me to call them. The good doctors have retired, it's impossible to get a sick appointment, the wait for a regular appointment is two months out, the are unreliable with calling in refills for your prescriptions, office staff are rude, they take too long to return phone calls, don't follow thru on scheduling referral appointments and they no longer use their online appointment scheduler anymore. This has been my go to for annual physicals for more than a decade and a half now, ever since I moved into my casa. They're pretty close so I like the advantage of waking up early and running to do my blood work there when needed. My primary physician for a long time was Dr. Burrows who is very amicable and good as a physician, not in a hurry to get to the next patient. I've also gone through others whenever he's not available. They check my vitals, do my tests, have done my pap smears and once I got a sebaceous cyst on my shoulder treated here (oh, that was a horrid thing to go through but it was treated quickly and has never reoccurred). read more

I tried to call and get an appointment as a new patient, but the person who picked up the phone (Sam) was absolutely awful. She told me to call my insurance to see if that doctor can accept my insurance (which makes absolutely no sense by the way because only the doctor's office would know that), and when I called back to tell her what happened, she ignored me and forwarded me to someone. That person did not pick up, so I called back to see what was going on, and before I could finish, Sam spoke over me AGAIN and forwarded me to someone else again, and, SURPRISE SURPRISE, no one picked up. I'm sure the doctor I tried seeing is great, but I never got an opportunity to see her because the wait staff is just plain rude. You guys missed out on a new patient. read more

Three different doctors refused to even TRY to diagnose my pain. Had to find a new primary and now I'm being taken seriously.

I have been a patient for several years. The wait is always long but I tolerate it because I don't want to find a new place. Most recently, I was 10 minutes late (first time ever being late) and they made me wait two hours before I saw someone claiming I had to get bumped back for my tardiness. So first and foremost ... I absolutely love this office! Everyone is wonderful. They make the whole process nice and smooth and you leave feeling better (whether it's for the common cold, monthly medications, annual physical, etc). Every single person that I've come in contact with goes above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable experience - from the time you call, to you being greeted as you sign in (Ashley - I think? Sorry I'm awful with names! Haha), to the doctors (which are outstanding - Dr. Bala and Dr. Selznick), to the check out window, and especially the referral department (Katy - sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong). I know I'm in good hands when it comes to CFP physicians and I can attest that Dr. Bala (my main doctor) is AMAZING. She's super sweet and listens to all your concerns to ensure you're getting the best care possible. Her old assistant Connor was very attentive and thorough as is her new assistant. I send all my family, friends, and even my own patients her way because she is so awesome. I've seen Dr. Selznick a couple times and he is GREAT too (he has a great since of humor and keeps you smiling).CFP is professional, quick, COVID friendly (questionnaires, temperature checks, social distancing of chairs, masks required), accommodating (if available, same day appts/walkins), clean and disinfected (clean/dirty pen cups), up to date (online portal with all your info at your fingertips), and affordable. CFP Florida Physicians Group is a DEATH TRAP! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE! Incompetence at it's best. BEWARE! I'll start by saying I went to CFP from 2016-2018. I have diabetes and I had a stroke in 2016. After a change in insurance, I had to pick a new PCP. So I chose CFP and what a mistake that was! The other reviews I read about the staff being rude are all true as well. I was treated rudely several times by various staff members and I saw other people treated rudely as well. For some reason they could neve store my insurance reference # that I was asked to get going back to my very first visit at CFP. They asked me for the same info every time. But my real problem isn't the incompetent fools in the front, it's the nut job doctors in the back! The worst experience I ever had there came when I had a wound that had become infected. So I went to CFP and saw Dr. Fuller. In addition to cleaning the wound, she took samples from the wound to be sent off to check for MRSA, a very serious and contagious infection. I was asked to come back the following day to recheck and redress the wound. I went back the following day and was seen by a nurse practitioner who didn't seem to know what she was doing. I was given very minimal poor instructions on what to do after leaving the office to tend to my wound but I did my best. I went in for this issue a total of three times in five days to have it checked out because it was so serious. The first visit I saw the doctor, and the other two visits I saw the nurse practitioner. No follow up was set by the doctor to recheck my wound in 1-2 weeks which is typical for something this serious. Two months later I had to go back to CFP to renew my diabetes related prescriptions which requires a short visit with the doctor. During that visit, Dr. Fuller made a comment while reading a previous report on my blood work, that I had indeed tested positive for MRSA. WHAT!?!!?!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Nobody from this doctor's office ever called me about it! I was furious to say the least! Dr Fuller acted surprised no one from the office had contacted me. She mildly apologized about the office not contacting me while trying to diffuse a more serious situation of being held accountable for the mistake this office had made. For those who don't know, MRSA can burrow deep into the body, causing potentially life-threatening infections in bones, joints, surgical wounds, the bloodstream, heart valves and lungs. In addition MRSA is very contagious and can be spread through direct contact with a person who has the infection such as my wife or kids. Let's not forget I have diabetes which makes any infection worse, not to mention I'd had a stroke the year before. Good thing I'm tough because this level of incompetence could have killed someone! A few months later during a separate visit, again to renew my diabetes meds, I saw Doctor Bala. During my visit she asked me if I was a had type 1 or 2 diabetes. I told her I had been diagnosed with Type 2 about 17 years ago, but when I was in the hospital recently most of the doctors thought I was now Type 1. Dr. Bala explained there was a simple blood test I could take before leaving the CFP office that could be sent off and then we would discuss the results at my follow up visit in a week. So they took a blood sample for the test along with a few other tests she wanted to do. When I returned for my follow up, I asked her what the results were from my blood test about being a type 1 or 2 diabetic and she looked at her paper work for several minutes, then she left the room and came back and said, "they never sent out your blood work so we don't know". To say I was surprised is an understatement! However what came next was bizarre and unexplainable. Near the end of my visit, I asked Dr Bala if they had any samples of the insulin I already use available so I could have 1 or 2 extra pens in case of emergency. She left the room again and when she returned, she said they were out of the insulin I use, but instead offered me some metformin samples and a sample of another diabetic injectable similar to insulin (but not insulin) specifically for type 2 diabetics. In addition Metformin has not been approved by the USA Food and Drug Administration for use in people with type 1 diabetes. (it turns out I do have type 1 diabetes). What the heck is a doctor doing offering to give a patient not only meds they didn't ask for, but incorrect diabetes medicine without a conclusive test? Were you trying to kill me on purpose? What exactly is going on here? After that I was done with them. Initially my first visit went well and I thought they had their stuff together but every time after that first visit, they were a mess! It's plain and simple, if you want to live, avoid this doctors office at all costs! They should be shut down! read more

They provide the highest quality of comprehensive health care including labs, xrays, minor surgeries, chiropractic adjustments, podiatry, a weight loss clinic, a compassionate care clinic, aesthetic botox treatments, and much more. They treat every patient with respect and as individuals addressing their unique health care needs with heart. Clerical and scheduling staff are a nightmare. Rarely are matters managed competently. This medical practice staff is always overwhelmed and therefore projects an image of frustration and panic. Be prepared to WAIT. It is not uncommon to wait an hour past your appointment. Special Note: As a patient you will be encouraged to use the online CFP Patient Portal. This is a good place to review your stats but horrible for communication. Stick with telephone calls. Finally, I'd like to end with a positive: in my experience, the physician and nursing staff have been excellent. read more

They seemed to survive the epic construction project of Red Bug & 436. Their building is right near that nightmare, but now that the construction is done, it's in a pretty good location considering. My doctor is technically Dr. Burrowes but I've never met him, which is a good thing I guess. I am super heathy and blessed with no allergies or any type of condition. I had to get a PCP for my insurance to kick in at work so I found these guys because they take my employer's plan and the location is solid. I setup a basic physical to establish a file and see the place in person but my doctor was busy doing important things so they had me see Dr. Balasubramanian. That's right, sound it out. She was really nice and it was an in and out experience for me but I was impressed with their style and professionalism. The Doctors are generally competent, but the Office Manager is an uncompromising tyrant on a wild power trip. If you do not come in when they say, to accommodate *their* schedule, however often they dicate, they will accuse you of refusing treatment and send you a Certified Letter of Dismissal, throwing you out of their treatment center. No reason to try and change an appointment matters; Jessica, for example, will not hear it. read more

The one star is for Dr. Dolly, who is as sweet as can be and very knowledgeable. She is very patient when listening to you ask questions, and has great care for the children she sees. On the other hand her office staff is outrageously unprofessional. THIS IS WHO YOU MAINLY DEAL WITH (95% of your interaction). A simple request of my daughters documents for her school has brought out the true colors in the staff. There were already a few run ins with the negativity and rudeness of the ladies up front. One staff member came into my workplace and showed off her attitude while wearing her work uniform. I brushed that off to her having a rough day. The next incident was when they messed up an appointment date and still couldn't see my child for a wellness visit (they had over booked). A few months earlier than this overbooking issue I had tried to have my daughter seen because she was sick but they couldn't see her for 3 days! Now I've found another Dr. for her, which is closer to home, not a physicians group, a lot cleaner, and they are aware we are not longer doing business with them. Since they know we won't be back they are giving me the worst time getting her records for her daycare. They faxed over half of her records prior to us changing pediatricians, now I am desperately needing the other half and they are refusing them for up to 30 days. I've had them speak over me and blurt "Goodbye", which when I call back, her excuse is 'I didn't hang up on you, I said goodbye' ..... I didn't know they allowed 5 year olds to work there?! If Dr. Dolly were to ever move out of the group and into another, or have her own practice we would definitely follow, but while at CFP, with the nasty attitudes and lazy staff, we recommend searching elsewhere for a quality pediatrician. read more

My mother has been coming to CFE Physicians for many years now. She has always been treated with greatest respect. Dr. steven Selznick is the best doctor my mother has ever had. He has proven to know more than the kidney doctor and the surgeon. DR. Thomas, we call him the skin doctor, Takes care of my mothers moles, and skin. Connor dr. Selznick's assistant returns all my calls and solve all issues for my mother. Heather, takes care of all my mothers medications. And Lacey, the office manager is the best! I have been visiting this office since 2004. The doctors are good and know what they are doing. I will give them one star for that. However the front office staff have been less than capable and have not performed professionally within the past two years that I have been going there. I have had a few challenges dealing with their payment policies and business approach. A majority of the problems have stemmed with how they want to handle payments with me and with my Health Insurance Company. I found they do not follow certain terms of the insurance contract and manipulate the contractual agreement details to support their end. They repeatedly quote their (skewed) office policy on how they do business, usually in their favor and not to who is paying. I have been charged in excess of what is required on Deductibles that the Insurance Company / contract has set forth. Both myself and family members have been given the excuses of "not meeting the deductible" (when in fact it has been met) to draw more money out us. When I show them printed documents (from my Insurance Company) that they are wrong in what they say they will follow up with different reasons as to why I should pay costs outside the negotiated terms of the insurance contract. Bottom line; they will make you pay more than you should, they will quote CFP Physicians company policy, manipulate the details of insurance terms, and then you will have to work many long hours to get your money back. I have found a lack of integrity and professionalism. Not sure if this a lack of knowledge and training, or if this is intentional to cover themselves financially. Based on my experience, until they are able to regroup and rebuild their reputation I will look for another doctor office and services. I recommend any one considering this office do a detail check before attending. read more
