I would highly recommend Chairs For Affairs. We have drove past thier building with the mural many times (it's gorgeous) and I am so grateful to have discovered them. I was referred this place by a friend. The service was reasonable. But I rented chairs for my mothers repast. I didn't use them all half of the chairs stayed folded up on the wall and was not used. When I returned them I get a call saying I owe money for a broken chair. How could I prove that the chair wasn't already broken? I was put on hold for several days then a got a voice message stating I have to pay for a chair. The money is not the issue, the problem is how do I know the chair wasn't already damaged? I will not use this place again for me or my church group. I do events for the community and a school graduation. I will pass the word on to others that I feel that I wasn't treated fairly. read more

I had an extremely negative experience dealing with this company. I called at 1pm on a Saturday and spoke to Wendy Sikes. Explained that my mother had just passed suddenly and that we needed to rent chairs and tables for a memorial that Monday. She said no problem she would send over the price list. I said time was of the essence and I would respond immediately. Wendy sent my the price list and I responded with my order within ten minutes. Then heard nothing. Emailed again. Nothing. Called again an hour later and was met with a voicemail stating they had closed at 2pm. Left a voicemail and received a calling Sunday evening that they could not help us. It is acceptable to not be able to offer services upon short notice. It is acceptable to be closed. It is unacceptable to not inform someone of this who has TOLD YOU that her mother just died suddenly and time is of the essence. Obviously this business has poor management and customer service. I never even received an apology. I will not be doing business with Chairs for Affairs in the future and I hope others will follow my lead. read more

Used chairs for affairs; booked my equipment months ahead of time, received stained table cloths, dented and collapsed chafers, and unstable tables. Still had to pay full price and got a charge when THEIR chafing dish burnt a hole in the table cloth. Use this company only if you want to be treated as if your event doesn't matter. read more
