I'm writing this to let everyone know of my experience with Camily Glen Rivera the lady that post on here, she rents tables, chairs, bounce houses, and balloon decorations. She blocked me on Facebook after she asked me to write a review and when I told her I would never hire her again because of what she did to me much less write a review. Everyone should be careful with her she isn't professional at all. I contacted her about her services 3 weeks in advance about renting a bounce house, tables, chairs and balloon arch and pillars for my daughters birthday party. She told me the price was $350 then raised it to $400 and said it was because I live in Vero and not in Palm Bay where she is. So I went along with it and said ok (I really wanted the balloon decorations for my daughters party and didn't know anyone else) I sent her the $150 deposit through her bank account and we agreed on what I wanted and I thought everything was fine. Next thing she does is the night before my daughters party she says party city messed up her order and couldn't get the balloons she promised me and that I had to deal with it or she would give me my deposit back. I was so upset it being the night before the party and I couldn't just call someone else the night before so I had to deal with it so my daughters party wouldn't be ruined. So the next day (day of party) she was supposed to be at my house at 1pm because the party started at 3 and when she didn't arrive at 1pm I messaged and called her and got no answer. When she answered 30 min later she advised me that she was busy and couldn't talk. Then she said that her workers couldn't work that day and she had a flat tire. I mean you name it... it was excuse after excuse. So unprofessional. She finally showed up at 3:20 extremely late and began putting up the stuff and the balloons kept popping. She said it was because of the sun but it was because she was putting too much air in the balloons. I mean come on that's not my area of expertise but it was common sense to know they had too much air in them. So anyway she ruined the party. I was stressed out the whole time because of her. So i just wanted to share my experience with this lady to everyone and warn y'all. No one should have to pay someone for their services to be treated and done this way. I messaged Camily on February 24th regarding placing an order for March 14th for tables and and chairs rental for an outdoor party we were having. She assured me the order would be no problem and that she would deliver these items the day before the party and pick them up the following Monday afternoon. The Friday before my party I receive a text to confirm my rental at 1:44 PM, I immediately respond back confirming my rental and going over final details that included that she would deliver the items around 6 PM. I get a text at 3:20 explaining that she has to cancel my rental due to the Coronavirus. I work in the medical field so I am very aware of the severity of the virus. Of course, if someone is infected I would not want them to come to my house to deliver items so I offered to come pick them up. I'm still being told no that I can not come pick them up and that I will have to find a replacement in less than 24 hours from my party, which I explained. I called another chair rental company that was able to fill my order for a better price and on short notice. Later that night Camily text me stating that she felt bad but her things were being crazy... sounds like she over booked herself not that she was concerned about the virus. I responded to her text explaining that I did not find what she did appropriate and that I did find a replacement to which she responded back with her family issues. I am a client, you should not be voicing your home life issues to someone you barely know especially since you're using it as an excuse to dig yourself out of a hole. Please do not use her services, I wish I would have read up on her other reviews before depending on her for her items. Cancelling a reservation that you had for two and a half weeks with less than than 24 hours for my party was really an inconvenience and inconsiderate to me as a client. If anyone needs a recommendation for a good table and chair company please let me know because it would sure not be this one. read more
