Supposedly it was someone's birthday so that caused the delay which shouldn't have been a factor because I spent money along with wasted time. To false advertise & have vendors that didn't play a factor into the event was wasteful. No one could announce that the food vendors weren't showing up mind you this was a "pre" 4/20 event. My high was blown by someone's drunk uncle that ruined the experience I tried to enjoy by being loud & belligerent all in my personal space. everyone seen him act a fool but couldn't tell him to leave the building he gave creep vibes to the point a friend of a vendor told me to be safe leaving the event. I reached out to Kathleen Danials explained everything hoping to receive a refund the only thing I was offered was to come to another event & NO REFUND! Buyer Beware! Dissappearing Owner & a Nightmare that lasted 2 weeks! It was not what I expected…read more First, we were nickled & dimed for additional hours needed for the set up on the back end. I felt the owner knew from her years of expertise that we would need additional time for the type of party we planned. Before we sgned the contract, we gave her our vision and she assured us that we'd be able to decorate & transform the room in the time allotted. She knew she'd make extra money. Then...she vanished to another job in another state. We got an "I'm sorry," even though we specifically asked, "are you going to manage this event." Yes was her answer. We dealt with 4 different staff - one which knew nothing about the audio-visual set-up on the day of the event! Lastly, one week before the event, it was obvious we were not happy. I couldn't believe my ears. She offered to give us a full refund and we could cancel. Never again. I never say anything about anyone unless it's good, otherwise I keep my mouth shut. I wanted to save you potential grief and frustration.

We notified the front desk that there were numerous wasp by the sprinklers and the front staff was very nonchalant with responding, stating that they couldn't get in touch with the city to dispose of the wasp. However, when another Youth Camp came to the location I went in with her and address to address the wasp situation with another maintenance man who stated he would take care of the situation but the front desk were very non-responsive to a possible emergency. These were small children at risk.

In the end the party ended 2 hours early and we were patted on the head, with a smirk and a grin and sent on our way. They do not care about the local consumer. Go somewhere, ANYWHERE else! It is just a REC center and can not fully accommodate a major event.
