The service music is a mix of traditional Episcopalian/Anglican hymns and praise music. Bill Driscoll is a warm, sincere leader with a gift for pastoring. His sermons are heartfelt and Bible based. There are also other preachers who help out from time to time and bring a different approach which adds to Bill's teachings. Youth programs are plentiful and cater to young children and teens. Opportunities for small group activities - be it more in depth Bible studies or an informal service with a parish wide meal are available throughout the week. Redeemer supports several missions in Jacksonville and throughout the world and sends members on short term mission trips. I developed strong bonds with members and keep in touch with many even though I am gone. I have often said when I went through my divorce my church family saved me. They were there when I needed them and supported me in a very sad time. This is a loving, caring, Biblically based church. I still receive church emails and newsletters and can listen to sermons on line through the website podcasts. Makes the distance a bit less. Not the same, but it helps!
