Just two stories tall, it was built in 1969. Bradford County was renamed in December 1861 from New River County. It is named for Captain Richard G. Bradford, who was the first Confederate officer from Florida to die in the Civil War. He was killed on October 9, 1861 in the Battle of Santa Rosa Island near Pensacola. I truly would not want to live here, due to the traffic conditions. Too many people. But, I do like the Orange Park Mall, and some of the restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries in the area. The biggest perk is the Clay County Fair. Organized, clean and safe.

Small town court houses are wonderful. This one is no exception. Everybody that works in there is…read moreso helpful and kind. The officers that act as Bailiff's are all very friendly and nice. This court house smells good. Who has ever even heard of something like that? I believe they must clean it every day with Fabuloso. There isn't much to it because there doesn't need to be much to it in a town like this. You're not going to get lost in this courthouse. What I noticed was that most of the people that were in there knew each other and they were all saying hi and chatting while they waited there turn. Coming down to this location is always a pleasure.

Built in 1977 for preflight stress testing, the space shuttle test fuel tank spent years on display at Kennedy Space Center before being removed in 2011 to make room for shuttle Atlantis and its new exhibit. NASA auctioned the tank to the Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum in Keystone Heights, and moving it required a 200‑foot barge, two tugboats, and cranes to haul the enormous structure to a temporary holding site in Green Cove Springs. The plan was to continue transporting it to its final destination, but the sheer logistics of moving something so large stalled the effort, leaving that temporary site as the tank's seemingly permanent home. The fuel tank is approachable, touchable and you can park your RV next to it for a really great photo to show the scale.
