We were welcomed by a friend of the owners who was very nice, funny and accommodating. Our room was perfect with a great view of the church and gardens on the property. Bed was great! Room was great! Breakfast was the best we had at all of the B&B's we stayed at. Fresh cooked eggs, ham, pastries to die for and much more. Would highly recommend staying here and wish we could have had this B&B for every night of our trip.

Our house mother was very lovely and kind to us. She spoken some English and went out of her way to show us hospitality. She took up to a near by restaurant our first night at ale Cale and it was the best food I have ever had! Her home cooked breakfasts every morning were delicious and filling. Our children enjoyed her garden with a play set and the freedom to roam the estate was nice. It was truly a cultural experience unlike any other. I would recommend all American tourist to stay her and experience true French hospitality and life! You need to rent a car. Driving around the region is very easy with google maps.

Nuts & Bolts but a great place to sleep and relax. Walking distance (2 blocks) to all the great restaurants and shops. Bayeux is the PERFECT launch point for everything Normandy. If you're looking to see Omaha Beach and Point Du Hac stay in Bayeux. We booked a private tour through the Caen Memorial. We took the 7:00am train to Caen and met our guide. It was the perfect way to see everything.
