Thanks to Randy Wise Chevrolet in Flint, MI who repaired the recall again correctly due to the other dealer's shitty workmanship. Long story short. My husband and I traveled to Frankenmuth, MI for a couple of days heading home today. During a monsoonal downpour, our wipers quit working on I-75 South heading home. Luckily, we were very near an exit and were able to drive on the shoulder to a BP gas station which was just off the exit. Thanks to the clerk at BP who headed in the right direction. We had to have our Equinox towed to a nearby Chevy dealer who made the recall repair and we were able to return home safely. Bosak has just lost a long time Harbor Chevy customer! This is why I hate to fucking travel!

While the initial process of buying the car was smooth and I felt treated fairly, my experience…read morejust two weeks later has left me deeply upset and disappointed. I reached out regarding a significant issue with the front right wheel pulling hard, and what followed turned into an absolute nightmare. After securing an appointment, I dropped my car off at 1 PM, hopeful for a quick resolution. Four and a half hours passed with no communication from them, leading me to make two calls for updates. To my dismay, I learned they hadn't even begun to inspect my vehicle. The response I received was disheartening; it felt dismissive when they suggested I would have to cover costs that should have been addressed by them so soon after my purchase. I expected at least a simple courtesy of checking my car and providing updates instead of making me chase after them for information. After speaking with four different people and experiencing confusion over who was responsible for costs, the used car department finally offered to split the cost of a diagnostic. They promised to pick up my car the following Monday, but nearly a week has passed without any follow-up or scheduling communication. The lack of respect and communication throughout this process has been incredibly frustrating. One service representative, Todd, was particularly dismissive, treating my concerns as if I were overreacting and implying that I was simply making up issues. This is not how a new customer should be treated. Having only purchased my vehicle three weeks ago and already facing such a distressing service experience--despite having bought an extended warranty--I feel abandoned. The fact that I can't get a simple diagnostic covered after spending tens of thousands of dollars is truly unacceptable. Now, I am forced to spend $200 to have it serviced elsewhere. I will return to Randy Wise only when necessary for warranty work.

Now Im very big on GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and that's the first thing that gets me in the door and has my undivided attention. I Feel the staff fully answered all of my questions honestly without trying to hustle me or talk me into something I didn't want or need. 1ST day - they were closed but could still look at the vehicles on the lot. I just browsed around just to see if something would catch my eye (a few vehicles did). Day 2- I came back talked to staff, got questions answered, test drove and got vehicle(s) inspected by my choice facility/mechanic. Day 3 - proper paper work handled & new car purchased. Now this is what i call as easy as 1-2-3...lol. I had a blast talking and mingling with the crew!! Oh yeah I left out the BEST PART EVEEEER: This was a great day about 70°F out sun shining; while signing paper work and waiting on vehicle to be shined up my daughter and I was treated with the most incredible, delicious homemade jalapeno & cheese brats...Mmmm so good !! Special Thanks to Karrie & John the owners and Ed, Chris & Ryan who made purchasing a vehicle very easy. Without a doubt if your looking for a used vehicle you should check out Auto City used cars in Clio, Michigan. I know I'll be back sooner than later

Buyer beware!!!! This place will sell you garbage!!…read more Purchased a 2016 Kia Optima for my daughter as her first car and sweet 16 present. Jacob was our salesperson and was wonderful until we left the dealership. Drove the car home and noticed that the driver's side door would not unlock, forcing us to crawl in through the passenger side. Took the car back up there and was told by Jacob that we should expect those kind of issues with a car that we only paid $6,000 for. He became very rude and condescending. After loosing my shit because of his treatment, the manager finally agreed to repairing the locking mechanism. Because of the way I was treated after they got my money I checked the reviews, which I should have done before I went there, my stomach dropped when I realized how many people were sold lemons and had been scammed by them. Fast forward a few months later, my daughter got her licensed and was finally able to drive the car. Not even a few hundred miles later... the check engine light came on. Took the car to the Kia dealership and turns out that there is a failed Turbo and the replacement will cost me $4,679!!!!!!!!! They knew when they sold us the car that this was an issue. Please heed my advice and steer clear away from this place unless you want to take out loans getting repairs done after your purchase.

Inspected and cleared (just to be clear). Around February I had the Rear Main seal burst, got it to Simms Chevrolet Service department. They fixed it, charged me around 2,000$ and said I was good to go. Then, I'm driving down the road, no check out engine lights, all the sudden the car dropped to reduced engine power, and stalled. It would not turn back over. Got it towed to Simms. The call me a few days later saying, it'll be almost 6,000$ to fix. That the engine has a very well known and documented issue with the piston rings. SIMMS informed me that there were multiple lawsuits about it previously and current. AND they told me it was probably the issue that caused my rear main seal to burst. They said the oil sensors in the engines of all equinox's are faulty and as long as 'some' oil goes past them, they read as good on oil. But that my car was empty of oil. Again, they charged me 2000 dollars, 2 months prior to fix my rear main and to put fresh oil in. I had driven my car only 2,500 miles since they serviced it. They knew that there was an issue, they didn't bother to inform me of it. They replaced the rear main seal KNOWING the best case it would blow again, and likely it would blow the engine. They KNEW that the issue is known to cause engine fires. And they said and did nothing. Then they offered me 500$ to scrap the car for me. Absolutely not good care, and absolutely not, a good company.

I contacted Sovereign to see if they were willing to do anything to help me out. After about a week of "back and forth" because (the owner lives in Florida) they agreed that if I had the vehicle towed they would look at it. Another week passed of back and forth and "the owner is on his way back from Florida" every time I called (they never contacted me with new information) I always had to call them. Long story short the engine was shot after not even having the vehicle 90 days and they're offering a trade vehicle for the price of the car with a blown motor. Excellent service, Nigel, also great job stepping up and being present to speak with a long time customer after multiple requests to speak with you directly. Wonderful job. Never again and everyone i know will be forewarned about my experience. Terrible.
