I don't post often and have two shout outs. 1. Thanks, Bosak Chevy in Michigan City, IN for the shoddy workmanship on 11/14/22 for the recall on our 2014 Equinox for our windshield wipers. 2. Thanks to Randy Wise Chevrolet in Flint, MI who repaired the recall again correctly due to the other dealer's shitty workmanship. Long story short. My husband and I traveled to Frankenmuth, MI for a couple of days heading home today. During a monsoonal downpour, our wipers quit working on I-75 South heading home. Luckily, we were very near an exit and were able to drive on the shoulder to a BP gas station which was just off the exit. Thanks to the clerk at BP who headed in the right direction. We had to have our Equinox towed to a nearby Chevy dealer who made the recall repair and we were able to return home safely. Bosak has just lost a long time Harbor Chevy customer! While the initial process of buying the car was smooth and I felt treated fairly, my experience just two weeks later has left me deeply upset and disappointed. I reached out regarding a significant issue with the front right wheel pulling hard, and what followed turned into an absolute nightmare. After securing an appointment, I dropped my car off at 1 PM, hopeful for a quick resolution. Four and a half hours passed with no communication from them, leading me to make two calls for updates. To my dismay, I learned they hadn't even begun to inspect my vehicle. The response I received was disheartening; it felt dismissive when they suggested I would have to cover costs that should have been addressed by them so soon after my purchase. I expected at least a simple courtesy of checking my car and providing updates instead of making me chase after them for information. After speaking with four different people and experiencing confusion over who was responsible for costs, the used car department finally offered to split the cost of a diagnostic. They promised to pick up my car the following Monday, but nearly a week has passed without any follow-up or scheduling communication. The lack of respect and communication throughout this process has been incredibly frustrating. One service representative, Todd, was particularly dismissive, treating my concerns as if I were overreacting and implying that I was simply making up issues. This is not how a new customer should be treated. Having only purchased my vehicle three weeks ago and already facing such a distressing service experience--despite having bought an extended warranty--I feel abandoned. The fact that I can't get a simple diagnostic covered after spending tens of thousands of dollars is truly unacceptable. Now, I am forced to spend $200 to have it serviced elsewhere. just an update from my previous experience. Bought a package of 3 oil changes. Used 2 and then covid hit. You could not get your car in during that time. Finally got it in, and they inform me (after the oil change) that my last oil change EXPIRED. They are now holding my car hostage. Randy Wise is a thief, plain and simple. read more

Buying a used truck from salesman Mark Avery was compared to getting a root canal without novacaine. Lied to by him more than once. I told Mike I had a lender for the deal at 6.4%. Mike promised 5% interest and when signing showed 7.5% with no communication telling us the interest would be higher then blamed it on the finance manager. If it was the finance managers decision, then he never should have told us he could get 5%. Then lied again stating that interest rates go up when you borrow more money. I found out by my lender this is a lie. Sold us a vehicle not inspected by service and had to return it to fix things that should have been done before they sold it. Salesman talked AT ME like a 2 year old with a raised voice instead of listeni g to his customers needs. Attempted to seel me a smaller truck that would no handle the weight of my camper after being told what my needs were. All he wanted was to sell a vehicle and was apparent that he had NO INTEREST in customer satisfaction. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If I go back, it will not be to the same salesman. It was apparent that salesman was trying to run us in the sale using very high pressure techniques expecting us to decide on a purchase with just 5-15 minutes deliberation. Took my truck in for a recall air bag repair. When I picked it up, it had two cracks on the dash right near the air bag. They claim it wasn't them that damaged it because that repair wouldn't have anything to do with that. I think I would know if the truck I drive daily, clean and still owe $6000 on had cracks on it before I left it there. I will not leave my vehichles at that service center again. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would my experience with Randy Wise started off as they are doing a trade in or sell your car to them special. They are offering $4000 above Kelley blue book. I know historically that car dealerships offer very little for trades so I looked up my Kelley blue book before I went. I knew that I was going to be offered about $2000, so I messaged their business page and I asked how the extra $4000 worked and I was assured that they are paying big money. Even if I don't buy their car I let them know that I did not want to purchase a car, but only to sell mine. They said that was no problem. They were paying big money and bring it in, I scheduled an appointment for Saturday at noon and when I got there today I dealt with Lauryn P.,and while she was very nice unfortunately she was unwilling to honor what they said and to offer me the extra 4000 because she said that I wasn't purchasing a vehicle from them when I showed her the message from their business messenger, she said I don't know who you were dealing with. Can I please take a picture of that to my manager I said sure and she went and talked to the manager and came back and let me know, that there was nothing they could do. I then asked to speak to the manager, and she brought over Jacobi, who seemed very uninterested in helping me, he told me that they do a third-party company for the messages so they could not be responsible for what the message said even though it says Randy wise, and he was very unwilling to answer me or work with me while I was trying to talk to him. He very rudely answered a phone call And then was very dismissive of the entire situation. I let them know that legally they are responsible for things said through their messages, but he had he did not care. I also am unsure if Jacobi is a manager because his card says nothing about being a manager, it just says sales and leasing professional. I just bought a car 10-21-21 and as I was driving the used car home (60k miles 2015 dodge van) when I braked the car jerked back and forth and the car stalled out. It didn't do that during the test drive and only does it about once each drive I have driven it. But that's dangerous considering if their is someone behind me and I apply brakes they are not expecting my car to die in the road. I have called my sales person 3 times and left three messages he hasnt returned my calls. I called the asst manager sho said bring it in. I brought it in this morning Monday and was told they have to diagnose and fix it at the Clio store. I called them and they told me i couldnt bring it in until 10 days from now was the soonest. I got upset and finally they said bring it in 4 days. I was sold a bad car and now I have no car for work and don't feel safe driving this one. NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE once they have your money they don't care. Also they have a sign give them a 5 star rating on google and get into a $200 drawing which is basically paying for a good review. Update: After I posted this review and a couple others... my salesman did call after his manager had asked what was going on with my car (evidently someone saw my review) and offered a loaner. I came in to get it and he said let me get the keys. After about 13 min i went looking fo him and he was with the people that had just walked in and was trying to sell them a car. I sat down and waited for another 10 min and then decided that he wasn't going to get the keys. I went to another salesman that was nice enough to get the keys and it only took him less than 5 min till I was in the car leaving. read more

I would steer clear of this dealership if you want good, competent, customer service and to speak to someone who is knowledgeable about the inventory. Plus, the lot itself is in a very nondescript, country area and there is very little stock on the lot. This dealership uses a "Business Development Company" (idk, if it's exactly called that but it is "BDC" for short) and the people answer customer online and telephone inquiries without knowing that the inventory is still on the lot. I thought that I was speaking to a salesperson but in reality was speaking to someone simply paid to answer the phone and who is looking at a computer screen to see what may be available. Actually, the person could work from home because he/she does know due diligence or investigation to see if the vehicle that is advertised on apps like Autolist and other online search engines and marketplaces actually exist in the inventory. I drove about 100 miles...50 miles to the dealership and 50 miles back home believing that I was going to look at a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban. Not only was the vehicle not there, it had been bought by the owner of the dealership to sell directly to a customer; therefore, it was never available to the general public. This, not to mention that once I arrived, a salesperson informs me that the vehicle had been sent back to wherever it was purchased because it still had some severe body damage and issues related to an accident and an improper/inadequate repair. The BDC clerk also made it appear as if someone named Richard would be there and able to help me once I arrived for my "appointment." There was no Richard there; he is the Sales Manager but I was told once I arrived that, "they always say to ask for Richard but really it's any one of us that helps you." Why is it so difficult to make an appointment with a salesperson who will actually be on site when you arrive for the appointment? Why is it so difficult for the vehicle that you made the appointment to inspect and test drive to exist in the inventory? And, yes, I even received a text message from the person with whom I made the appointment asking if I was still coming just an hour or two before I arrived. It is as if I was tricked. This is not how you grow your business and gain customers by not being upfront and straightforward with customers. Unfortunately, there was nothing else on the lot that was even close in price, year, or style to the vehicle in which I was interested. However, even if there had been another vehicle, I would never spend any money at a dealership when I'm unable to even make an appointment to speak with a salesperson or have confidence/be assured that the vehicle that I've made an appointment to see and possibly test drive is in the inventory...let alone "for sale." What a waste of time, energy, and gas! I can't believe that all dealerships treat prospective customers in this manner; it's unacceptable. read more

Worse service department ever. I went to get a recall done for a vehicle. Upon entering the service center I wasn't greeted by anyone for over five minutes. As i was walking out a representative stopped me to "help" since they were so busy( texting). I told him i was in for a recall and gave him the information. He said it would take a few days to order it but they could finish it same day. The part took almost a month to come in to the point i almost went to another dealership. When i dropped off the vehicle I asked if they could check out a few other things and he acted like that was standard for them to do. When i picked up my vehicle only the recall had been done. I asked about the other stuff and he said it would be an additional charge and they needed the vehicle for another day to run the codes. I explained to him that i requested it with my original service and i wasn't looking for something for free. I was there to get the car fixed and i asked for them to check it when I dropped it off. He went into a dialogue that made it seem like i wanted something for free, this is a dealership and I really didn't belong there. Someone later contacted me to ensure a good GM survey. I told them of my issue and they said they would give me a free oil change. I asked for my GM survey and they said they sent it out already and it can only be sent once. Over a month later and i still haven't received my survey, oil change or good service from them. read more

Never go to this dealership alone if you are a young woman. The sales man Steve was very rude and call me stupid and that I should shut up and listen. My Granddaughter drove 3 hours to look at a vehicle, long story short she put me on her speaker phone so I could listen to the conversation as she was confused with 2 men trying to convince her to buy this car with a premium extended warranty. After a short conversation with me alone she went inside where at that point the salesman Steve told her that your Grandmother should shut up and listen and that she is stupid. My Granddaughter left. I told her to go to the dealership I recommended which is Roy O' Brien in St. Clair Shores where she bought a newer car, lower miles and still lots of factory warranty. They treated both her and I with the utmost respect. Randy Wise in Clio is a terrible dealership and all you women out there stay away unless you take a knowledgeable person with you that knows all the sales tricks and don't let anyone push a sale on you.
