We had such a wonderful experience working with Chanda for our photography session. My husband and I did a lifestyle photography session that had some really unique requirements. We are trying to adopt and needed a variety of shots for our adoption profile, so these photos were super important to us and we had some pretty high expectations. Chanda truly wanted to get to know us and understand our specific needs to make sure we got everything we hoped for from the session. She made recommendations based on what she learned that we liked, she captured some unique settings we wanted to get, and she was creative in understanding what we needed and coming up with ideas for fun and unique poses/photos. Chanda came to our house when our twins were about 4 or 5 months old and took some incredible photos of our new family. The shoot was very relaxed and casual -- two hours was about all our babies could handle. She brought some props and pieces with her, and we improvised with things around the house too. We ended up using one of the photos in our first family Christmas card, and we have gotten SO MANY compliments. It's March and people are still telling us they loved our card. We used Chanda as our Doula. She was great! After we had our initial meeting with her, we immediately decided we wanted to hire her. She has a very laid back personality, so we immediately felt comfortable with her. Our baby decided to come 4 weeks early--Chanda braved icy and frozen roads to get to the hospital at 1am. We did not have any time to labor at home. She helped my husband get me through the drug-free labor we intended to have. I think had she not been there, he would have given in to my cries of wanting the epidural. She gave my husband suggestions of how he could help me, massaged my feet, fed me ice and continued to praise me and remind me that I WAS doing it, when I said I couldn't. I would recommend Chanda as a doula to anyone! We would not have had the birthing experience we wanted to have, unless she had been there. read more

Chanda was our photographer when I needed to have adorable photos taken of my newborn son. She was quick to respond to my request and quick to fit me in to her schedule. She arrived a few minutes early to the appointment, and she got started turning my two week old into a super model -- even when he was being a diva! She helped to calm him down and took cute-as-can-be pictures! As an added bonus, she's super sweet and comfortable to be around. Once the session was over, she mentioned she'd have the pictures done by the end of the weekend... I'm pretty sure I got them before the weekend even began! All the photos were beautiful, and I wanted them all so she hand delivered them to me the next day! What amazing service! I wouldn't hesitate to work with Chanda again... Chanda met us at the hospital the day after our daughter was born (on her own child's birthday, no less) for a fresh48 session, and the pictures are AMAZING! Chanda was my wife's doula and our baby's photographer and she was great at both. My wife picked her because she was knowledgable, kind, and flexible. She met with us a couple of times before labor and offered helpful suggestions to make childbirth more bearable and to help ensure that my wife's wishes were realized in the hospital. In the days running up to the labor, Chanda was quick to respond when my wife sent her questions. When my wife went into labor, Chanda responded to a text message within minutes and came to our home at 4 AM within an hour of us contacting her. She was very supportive and indispensible to my wife throughout the 26-hour labor. A week later, she provided us with some great pictures she took during the labor and stayed for almost 3 hours taking adorable pictures of our little boy.
