Attorney William Willis was beyond helpful! I had an issue arise, which somehow had been…read morelingering around since 2003. I called about 10 different law firms in Iredell county. With each one, I had to set up an appointment to speak with an actual attorney. Will was the only one with whom I was able to speak almost right away. He was MUCH MORE COMPASSIONATE than any other attorney and, unlike anyone else, who wouldn't lift a finger without me paying their exorbitant fees, told me he would look into it the next morning at court and reach back out. Sure enough, at 9:30 the next day, he called me, as promised. He was able to find my archived file and speak with the DA, who agreed to dismiss the case! I know this is not a typical situation but I spoke with many different firms in a two day window and I must say, the personal attention he spent talking with me, following up when he was supposed to, and obviously having enough respect from the DA's office to get it handled right away, clearly sets Will apart from the others. I've brought this up more than once And this is for my childrens custody and their father is a pretty bad person and Patrica knows that and suggested threapy but as for the case no rush on that and not a concern to even know how many times I have proof of my child's father breaking the order and what days. the police have suggested get a new layer, this one ran through my 6k retainer and I don't think she filed but 3 things if that and I asked a lot more of her that she blatantly just ignores from both calls and e-mails. she promised to do the contempt part so were are stuck "working" with each other but she has no idea what I have that I'm bringing into court and honestly because she's had more communication with my ex and his lawyers I don't really trust her. I asked for the drug test to be hair ones and when I got one finally back from him it wasn't a hair one it raised more questions than answered. That's what getting on with this firm will be like, it'll raise a lot more questions for a lot of money than you'll figure out by the end. This is for my children I cried when I signed the 1st time and she didn't even care my kids doctor checked in on me. If I didn't bring up the fact she promised to do the contempt we wouldn't even be here but here taking the 6k retainer and not doing what I asked from the start nor now is just wrong. I'm 28 and she dismisses me unless it's in person shes nice and at least seems toblisten in person but that means nothing if my kids end up with two drug users because the lawyer I got and can't afford to hire another just didn't care enough to put the worn in. I even organized it all for her! I'm asking around for advice but so far just yesterday I asked to see my case study and still haven't gotten a response but this should be a start if you wouldn't want me to see it I'm right, it took 2 years to do something it took someone else less than 2 months so something isn't right about this firm. it might just be the lawyer, the front desk lady is nice but this is ridiculous and I'll probably only get a response if I go in person to ask for the case file. they would and have before just ignored me until court time.... if you want someone to not take forever to get things in your case done, have something important, or want to have a say in your case then I wouldn't pick here. If I had the money or could get mine back I already know who I'd hire but sadly I got stuck with one I didn't really know that lied to me and told me they'd do all the things I asked for until time started going by and the money was being used for what I don't know but we shall see if I'm aloud to look at my case file, I went with out a car for years to pay her and to be just disregarded like this and the entire 2 years it took her to get the same joint custody that still isn't being followed should speak to if she'll get things done for you. This is my honest review and I really hope I can figure out something to save my kids case but I'm happy I kept all I had because that's probably I'll that will be in court and If she only filed it as one contempt I have a feeling that will mess it up because it's over 20 documented with proof and the date (I keep it because a lot of my stuff was lost before plus I spent nearly $300 on a binder that was never used or saw in court! So I'll keep my little folder real close. If anyone sees this and had an idea please reach out because this isn't working and I highly doubt she will change nor will anything else unless I somehow do it.

I decided to move forward with the estate planning package (my first in this state) and Mr. Jeter continued to be a pleasure to work with. He gave me great advice on what the consequences of some of my wishes would turn out to be like if written exactly as I was originally thinking, and how we could turn them into more appropriate documents to support the intent of what I was hoping to achieve with my estate.
