Mama Wang was incredible--so passionate, energetic, and genuinely excited to share her knowledge. You could tell she knew the tea inside and out. She explained everything in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way, and her love for tea really shined through. She made us feel comfortable, cared for, and completely immersed in the experience. The tea itself was wonderful, and the entire tasting felt special and memorable thanks to Mama Wang's dedication and hospitality. Inside, they have a smaller setup but are packed with lots of amazing teas that you can smell. They have a wide range of flavors and I spent a good amount of time smelling everything before making my selection. Just letting everybody know that the doctor is not a sugar coat but she makes sure that her patient could build up their strength and collaborate with diet in order to get the quality, which you do, you will. I usually go for consultation, herbs and acupuncture. It could be pricey, but you get the quality and the best attention from doctor. If would recommend anyone to try to come here.

I came here because my mom has always recommended this place to me. I had been dealing with bad…read moreback pain and finally decided to give it a try. I asked for an acupuncture visit. About 10-15 minutes in I experienced the most horrific pain and panic of my life when I felt like my back had been lit on fire. I have had acupuncture/cupping done before and I know heat is involved but this felt completely different. I genuinely felt fire consume my lower back and let out a scream. He immediately began to pat my back and try to cool me down as I cried and cried. I apologized for screaming out of embarrassment and he said it was "just the heat" but it felt so much more different than what I've experienced before. He did different things to try and "cool me down" and then left me in the room for about 15 minutes. When he came back he removed the needles and once again rubbed things on my back. It also wasn't until later that I realized he never did any cupping on me. As he finished he said "next time just tell me you don't like heat" but this was so much more than just heat. I actually have a pretty high heat tolerance and knew this was just not normal. He then proceeded to charge me $60 and say I might need a second visit if the pain doesn't go away. As I left I began to cry again, I felt like my body was in a state of panic after feeling like I had been lit on fire alive. My family told me heat was normal during the appointment but I guess I didn't explain myself well to them because it was not until they saw my back that they understood what I went through. Everyone that has seen my back is left with their jaw dropped and telling me this is not normal. My family says they will never be going again and my mom is telling everyone she has ever recommended to not go. I understand this could have been an accident but the fact that he did not even own up to it and tried to pass this experience off as normal is what upsets me. Now I still have back pain and this insane burn on my back. If this wasn't an accident and is how this treatment goes, he needs to do a better job at explaining that and also warn clients about the gnarly scars it will leave.

I came here to restock some herbal medicines and got exactly what I needed. I asked the lady behind the herbal counter and she was kind enough to help me locate an item in the aisles. It was also really awesome to speak and hear very regional Cantonese here. I heard mostly Mandarin in the store, but think some if not all staff can speak both languages. Lots of parking by this shop. It is located right across from the big Costco warehouse in the same lot. You can't miss it! It was a nice shop and I'll definitely be returning next time when I need some Chinese grocery and herbs!

It looks didn't fit, so I put it back. A pharmacy worker (Chinese man) aggressively told me not to open it. When I explained I just wanted to see if it fit, he flew into a rage, started shouting and yelling the F-word at me, and falsely claimed I was abusing him. His attitude was terrifying and completely unprofessional. Should customers be verbally abused or sworn at by staff? "Why are some Chinese workers in Chinese markets so rude? They lack basic manners. This is especially true in Chinese stores and markets like TS Emporium. How do they even train their staff ? To insult customers? It honestly feels as though they are trained to be dismissive and insulting to customers rather than to help. I have personally experienced these situations multiple times.
