But I think I prefer their teas. I like that the specialty ones include toppings already. Mulberry was a bit too sweet for me even though I got zero sugar. I prefer their roasted barley iced tea with osmanthus jelly. Drinks can be easily close to $10. Service is great! Queues can be long. Parking is easy. Bathroom available. Credit card/tap is accepted with no surcharge. I like to stop by when I'm in the area.

The drink is super smooth and creamy with really strong jasmine and oolong flavors. And the brown sugar mochi jelly??? Boba WHO? It's soft, chewy, and honestly so much better than boba. The best part is that you can even save your drink for the next day and the mochi jelly stays soft instead of getting hard like boba does. I cannot recommend this specific order enough. There's a reason Torotea has expanded so much! I'm not the biggest fan of the Diamond Bar location purely because of the line, so I'd recommend trying one of their other locations if you don't want to wait as long. You can also order online on weekdays to avoid the line, but there is a small online fee. Also shoutout to whoever designed their shops because they absolutely killed the boho vibes. Super cute inside and the perfect place to wait for your drink. There isn't much of a seating area to chat given the line and large volume of traffic. Overall, as I can't emphasize any further, JASMINE OOLING WITH MOCHI JELLY.

Unlike some boba shops where you have to wait in long lines just to order, there wasn't a long wait here, so it was easy to get my drink and be on my way. The service was efficient and the overall experience was smooth and convenient. Definitely a great spot to grab a quality boba drink without spending a lot of time waiting in line. I'll definitely be coming back!

Although there's practically no tables, it's more of a order and go type place. Most times I visited, I had absolutely no wait at all, although I heard that during peak hours it gets pretty busy due to how busy the plaza is. My wife and I visited during lunch on a weekend and it was no wait whatsoever. Easily placed our orders and it was about a 5-10 minute wait for our drinks, very nice overall. Staff is friendly and quick which is always nice to see for a tea shop. They have plenty of options to go around, usually they'll have a sample for you to try which is nice if you can't decide on your drink choice. I absolutely love the mango or lemon condensed milk series, it's a mix of yakult style drinks on top of a bit more of a gushy feeling when you're sipping. Mix that with a bit of kick and you have the perfect drink for a hot day. Absolutely recommend trying it. Overall, a well maintained shop, although can get really packed during the peak hours, it's absolutely worth checking their store out. Very high quality drinks, consistent across all San Chen locations and definitely my choice of tea shop whenever my wife and I are in the area.

Boba Chew Chew (Walnut's) menu says the Strawberry Matcha costs $6.45. My photographed receipt (before toppings and taxes) shows I paid $6.75. I understand that the discrepancy was small (30 cents more), but I rarely see a menu lie about prices. I hope Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) fixes that issue asap. Regarding the drink, the Strawberry Matcha resembles the texture of blended vegetables. It's a chunky, thick drink. Thankfully, the flavors are not unpleasant. This thick drink still flows smoothly, and it has that prominent fresh matcha taste. I also enjoyed the subtle strawberry flavor; it tastes like finely smashed strawberries rather than syrup. In addition, I paid 75 cent to add the mini boba topping. These mini boba are a fun, playful novelty. They're very tiny and squishy like the tiniest marshmallows. One bite and they vanish. I visited Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) on Wednesday (around 8PM). I asked the staff for a "Strawberry Matcha." Staff complied with a smile. Staff is friendly and quick. The drink was complete in one minute and 55 seconds. Fast!! However, Boba Chew Chew (Walnut's) greatest strength is its ambiance. Despite the menu dishonesty and average drink, Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) is beautiful. It's decorated like a themed cafe in Downtown Disney. The location is clean; the upbeat music is pleasant; and the train decor is extremely cute. Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) is lovely to look at. Overall, my experience at Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) was not the best. Thankfully, I enjoyed the charming ambiance and fun mini boba. As of now, Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) is difficult to recommend. 2.5 out of 5

Parking: They're located in a large yet busy plaza. Finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: I absolutely love the interior! Super clean and bright. They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of indoor seating. You're literally transported to a London train station. Peep all the details! I was also told the luggage is actually from London! Service: Shout out to Sam and Nolan! Sam was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us their most popular recommendations & some tips about the drinks. Nolan was courteous, quick, & efficient! Food & drinks: Their daily specials alternate everyday at a constant price of $8.95. We visited on a Wednesday night, and they had their tofu + milk tea or Thai tea special. I'm not a tofu fan, but we decided to try their other foods. 1) Matcha cheesecake - My favorite! The matcha is sweet, and the cheesecake foam was sooo good! 2) Thai milk tea w/ boba - I really enjoyed this! There was an equal amount of tea and creamer. It was more on the sweeter side, but you can adjust the sweetness level. 3) Milk tea w/ boba - This tasted as expected. Can't mess up a basic milk tea. I got regular boba, and it wasn't too chewy. 4) Orange Creamsicle - This was shockingly not orange lol. The taste reminded me of a cream soda. It's perfect when you pair it with a savory food item. 5) Blueberry yogurt - Yummm! It tasted exactly as it sounds. The blueberry flavor definitely came through, and the consistency wasn't too thick. 6) Cookie butter cold brew - I'm not a cold brew person either bc I don't like watered down coffee. This was actually decent. I heavily mixed the cookie butter, and it gave it some flavor. 7) Mozzarella sticks - The cheese pull went crazy. If you love cheese, this is the perfect appetizer for you. 8) Gyozas - These were pan seared and filled with meat. The outer portion was very crispy. 9) Chicken & fries - Popcorn chicken served with crinkled fries. They don't season it, so make sure you ask for some spice. I sprinkled the spicy seasoning all over the chicken & fries. I wished they hand tossed it. 10) Bulgogi fries - Sooo cheesy and delicious! The bulgogi sat on the crinkled fries with a generous amount of cheese on top. 11) Chew Chew Katsu - My favorite dish! The katsu was absolutely crispyyy. There was a generous amount of rice & lettuce. Make sure to dip! The creamy mayo sauce was our fav! Pricing: Average prices for boba nowadays $$. I really like the theme. The drinks are fun and sweet. The food was perfect as snacks but could use some seasoning.

Staff was friendly and patient answering my questions. I always like to see if boba shops have unique drinks that stores typically don't have and if not, usually go with the original milk tea. But the Magnolia tea caught my eye. I got the magnolia milk tea and the boba was fresh, soft, but with the right perfect amount of chew! The staff did tell me it's "very floral" and I was a bit worried because I'm not a big fan of floral drink, but honestly, it wasn't that floral. There was a pretty subtle hint of floral-ness, but I can't make the distinction of the "magnolia" flavor. It's similar to maybe camelia? The boba and tea definitely were more prominent. I appreciated that I can taste a stronger tea flavor though. Service was really fast! They are well staffed. I didn't get to do what I came for, but at least the drink did not disappoint! I would come back to try other drinks!
