She started by lopping off 2 inches off the side and then asked if I wanted it shorter. I told her no that it's already too short but she had to finish what she started. I have always valued this barbershop and appreciated the quality of your barbers' work. However, this is now the third time I have experienced disrespectful and unprofessional behavior from Danny. On each occasion, I chose to remain calm and avoid escalating the situation. Several of your barbers have witnessed these interactions and taken notice of his attitude. The most recent incident occurred on May 31st at approximately 11:35 a.m. While your barber David was cutting my hair, Danny suddenly and aggressively pulled the barber cape off of me while scissors were actively being used. This created a dangerous situation -- had the scissors slipped or made contact with my eye, it could have resulted in a serious injury. The situation escalated to the point where one of your female barbers physically stepped between us to prevent further confrontation. I was left struggling to breathe and clearly distressed, and there were children present who witnessed the entire incident. My son, who was present and witnessed everything firsthand, has shared his own account: "From my perspective, it appeared as though the manager was preparing to physically confront or punch my father. Witnessing this unfold was extremely upsetting and made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable. No customer should ever be placed in a position where they feel threatened, humiliated, or unsafe while receiving a service. A barbershop should be a welcoming and comfortable environment for families, not a place where customers and children witness confrontations and feel frightened." When I contacted the police, the outcome was deeply troubling. Rather than Danny facing any consequences, I was the one issued a trespassing warning. Danny's response to this was to laugh and openly mock the situation. In front of the officer, he made statements such as that he could do whatever he wanted, that he had the right to refuse service to anyone, and that I should have known the police would not do anything to him because he claims to be the owner of the shop. This behavior -- celebrating a customer being removed while taking no accountability for a dangerous physical act -- is exactly the kind of conduct that reflects poorly on this business and raises serious questions about the leadership and culture at this location. Furthermore, after speaking with others familiar with the shop and reading multiple reviews, it is clear this is not an isolated incident. Several accounts describe similar patterns of aggressive and disrespectful behavior, and I was informed by barbers at the shop that this has happened before. I respectfully urge management to take immediate and serious action to address this matter. The safety and dignity of every customer must be a non-negotiable standard. I walked in on a Sat bc my normal haircut place nearby was fully booked, so I decided to give this barbershop a try. When I walked in, I was nicely greeted, told to sign in on their clipboard, and offered a drink. They have a small assortment of liquor, beer, wine, soda, juice, or water available. I probably waited about 20 mins till it was my turn, but I was ok with it since I had just randomly walked in without an appointment. This barbershop is very clean, organized, and the 2 barbers working seem to really pay attention to details. The store itself is mostly put together, but it seems like since it's still new, they are still putting up that last bit of decorations to really complete the place. As for my haircut, they had a $20 haircut special going on so for this quality of a barbershop, I was really happy. They made sure to cut my hair exactly as I wanted it, and didn't seem to rush between clients. Definitely ask for Raul! He did a great combover fade for me. After talking to Raul, it seems like this place opened just before quarantine and had to unfortunately close due to covid.
