Something happened to this store. New management? I've been shopping here for years and years, but I'm finished. I kept going back because of my good history there, but the last three times I made purchases there, they ended up being SO UNCOMFORTABLE. They're so clearly not my size. I've almost started crying in the middle of the day because of how bad they felt. I gave them all a few tries because the sales people insisted that they would stretch and become comfortable. The worst thing is when I went one last time to try and show them how badly my last purchases were fitting. The woman was SO RUDE. I think that she's the person who runs the store, now? I didn't even get an "I'm sorry you were uncomfortable." She bared said a word, just frowned at me. Then, when I put on the bras to show her (the one I put on had a cup that was at least 2 sizes big, it dug into my arm pits and had a ton of extra space below the breast) she just told me that it fit properly. I've been buying specialty bras for over 20 years. I have some idea of how they should fit. She just frowned at me and said that it fit. She didn't offer to show me a different size or try to fix it the situation at all. I was insulted, dismissed, and made to feel like I was the problem. I promise that I wasn't being rude, even after my third and final bad purchase. I just needed her help to fix the problem, but apparently she found this to be an insult and could barely be bothered to look at me. All she did was tell me that I was wrong for being uncomfortable. This is the worst bra fitting experience I've ever had! First, I was mismeasured (by a lot!) and after we found a slightly better size, the salesperson looked at what was a TERRIBLE fit (it created a bump at the top and the bottom had a huge gap in the centre of my chest) and told me it was a pretty good fit. When I asked about those things, she told me there wasn't much to be done and the fit I had was pretty good. She brought me a total of four bras (including the first one I couldn't even snap up) and it felt like she was already DONE with me. I don't know why, but right from the beginning, she seemed disinterested. When I told her my concerns about the bras, she seemed to be shrugging her shoulders that there was nothing she could do. The store wasn't busy (there was only one other customer) so it didn't make sense to me why shouldn't spend a few extra minutes trying to find a bra that would work. And ultimately, if it is just that Change Bras weren't going to work with my build, it would have been more honest for her to just admit that to me rather than lead me to believe I should settle for a poorly fitting bra. I've had several fittings in the past and this is by far the worst! I went down the street and dropped $300 on 3 bras at Tryst who, SURPRISE, was able to find me several bras that fit me. read more

A friend and colleague of mine recently told me all about her favourite bra store. I nodded along and knew this sounded like a good sitch for me, but didn't think I'd actually ever make it in. Good in theory, never actually feeling like trying on bars in practice. Y'know? Then I heard about their current sale... Buy three bras, get two free. Nice, properly fitted bras. Yes, I spent a little over $300 there today, but I left with five bras that will last me a couple of years. All of the wins. The staff were kind, not pushy, and when helping with sizes they didn't make you feel molested. Five star boob day over here. read more

Last weekend, I was on a mission to find a new set. I've been to Change in Oakville and had very hit and miss experiences with sales associates and sizes available in store. It was my first time to this location on Queen Street. The location was easy to find. I walked in and was greeted. Sandra asked me if I knew my size - yes, 65K - a challenging size to offer lots of options. I said I wanted "something that LOOKS pretty and like summertime." Sandra brought 6 different bras to try on and I quickly fell in love with one style. Sandra helped adjust me into the bra and had a neat technique to get me into the cup, so the whole cup was filled right down to the wire which not only looked better but felt better too. I asked to see matching bottoms. Again, Sandra brought a variety of styles and sizes to look at. She initially couldn't find my size in the style I wanted but took one more look and found it. She was incredibly helpful! I was in and out of the store before noon with a brightly coloured, gorgeous, summertime set that I'm so pleased with :) Would recommend. Will return. read more

At first when the sales girl guessed me at a 28G I was rather offended, mortified and heart-broken. I wanted to be a C darn it. But man, did I switch my tune after she took me back to the change room to properly measure me and show me the difference a properly fitting bra makes. Two years later I am a devotee and rave the blessings that Change has bestowed upon me, my mom, my grandma, and my friends. So many lingerie stores cater to the "typical" sizes, y'know anything in a rib size 32-36, and in cups from A-D. But as with most concepts of what "typical" is in the fashion industry, this is of course completely wrong. Most of us seem to be going about with ill-fitting undergarments that don't flatter us in the least. But HERE it is heaven. Whatever size you are, they got it or they will get it. I can actually buy cute bras here and I don't have spillage or look gigantic from super-molded cups that seem so popular these days. They even carry swimwear, which for busty girls is awesome. No way am I tossing on a suit that doesn't have some support. My girly lumps need a lift and some restraint so they don't go bobbing about everywhere when I try to do anything remotely fun on the beach. Thank you Change and all the staff for making women's lives better, one undergarment at a time. XO read more

Normally when I tell a salesperson my size (large cup, small band), she giggles nervously and suggests some store down the street... First time I saw a Change store, I walked in, proffered my size, and waited for the nervous titter. Instead, I got "Sure!" and shown the most amazing collection of nice looking samples in real-woman sizes. I was there at the end of a month-long sale so they had a limited number in my size. "Only" 11. Most larger bras resemble those leather slings on the front of cars - "car bras." Change's stuff is all nice-looking (though I'd stay away from the embroidered, the patterns show through thinner shirts). Today I brought a family friend, a large-chested teen who never had a good bra, in. I introduced her with "I've been telling this lady about this new fad, where bras actually fit..." They whisked her into a room, did a proper fit, showed her how to try them on PROPERLY (no one but Change -ever- does that), and brought her bra after bra. She narrowed it down to two, but could have picked up half a dozen and still left a good few behind. She then went home and Facebook'ed about the new experience of having a bra that FIT. So. - WIDE range of sizes, from the very large to the very small, including most of the odd sizes few companies bother with. - Well-fitting - Both lined and unlined bras. - A good selection of colours and patterns, as well as standard black, white & nude (covering most people's tastes). - A frequent buyer club that means all your purchases are at least 10 per cent off. - Frequent sales, from buy one, get one half off to 50-70 per cent off everything in the store. Their regular prices are a little higher than some, but in three years, I've never paid full-price for anything there. read more

She did help measure me, and since I was in between sizes, she didn't even try to find me something that would fit, and was like - "sorry!" and that was that. Maybe it's because I am smaller. A friend of mine is on Change's email list and invited me to shop their big sale with her at lunch today. It's been a while since I've had a specialty bra store I really liked (my favourite closed in 2008 and I've been making do with department store brands since), so I was up for checking it out. And now I'm sold! There's no way I'm going back, especially not at these sale prices. (The more you buy, the more you save--I ended up buying two of the bra I liked best, partly so I'd always have one even if The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, and the quality of the bras on offer seems very good. They've got a wide range of sizes, which is great for those of us who wear a small band and large cup size. read more

I've known that my bras don't quite fit right for years, but I thought that that was simply how things are. Change has shown me that that isn't true. After the salesperson told me my correct size and my eyeballs popped out (cup went several sizes up, band went a couple down), she brought me no less than ten - TEN - bras to try on and apologized that there weren't more due to the ongoing sale. I ended up with two that fit perfectly, and although they were huge and provided great support, they were still cute. Do you know how rare that is?! I was also able to buy several pairs of gorgeous panties ($3/pair) as Change was having a store-wide sale. My bras were also half off. Love, love, love! read more

Rude awakening. That is what I had... and it's bloody fantastic! Perhaps some men might read this and think "What's the big deal? Sure, women look sexy in lacy underwear and bras. No need to have a parade about it." Well sir.... shaddup! What makes this place stand out? A) The staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgable (I learned a lot about what to look for in a bra). B) Moreso, it's not just a "How does that feel? Let me know if you need anything. See you at the counter." These ladies know the value of a good-fitting bra. Considering I [apparently] didn't know any better, Racquelle would make suggestions and come back with more sizes to ensure I left as a completely satisfied and fully supported customer. C) They offer Italian macaroons in the fitting room D) They offer more than your standard A, B and Cs For me, there is no need to look any further to replenish my clearly tiny bra collection - and not just because most other bra stores don't carry anything higher than DD. This shop is a welcoming place with a staff that doesn't judge... they understand. read more

LOVE this place. I originally went in looking for a sports bra, but ended up coming out with the much cuter sister, the demi bra! I was instantly put at ease by the girls who worked there, and was asked if I'd like a measurement - YES YES YES! Who the hell knew I'm a massive D cup, baby! and 32 around! I've been wearing my bra size ass-backwards for years and years ... here I thought I was a 38B! The pricing isn't what I'd consider cheap, compared to La Senza. But the quality is by far superior. All of the undergarments are soft, lush & feel much more substantial than the usual 'Buy 3, Get 1 Free" bras. It was also nice to see they had a full range of sizes - including plus sizes. I also don't feel like I should have my legs wrapped around a pole wearing these bra & thong sets. I'm over the days of cheap looking sequin bras, and appreciate a more simplistic, romantic feel everything in the store has. read more

I went to Change for a change - I'm really sick and tired of expensive bras that are uncomfortable and don't fit. Pinching, poking underwires, fabric that's too stretchy in some areas, too tight in others, "double boob", "back boob" and all of the other fun symptoms of poor fitting bras. Ladies, I'm sure you know what I mean if you're also wearing these female torture devices. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by one of the employees behind the front counter, and welcomed into the store (check). She asked me if I had been to Change before, and when I said no, suggested a proper fitting (check). Once she had taken all of my measurements, she allowed me to stay in the fitting room and brought all of the sizes and styles to me (check), adjusting her selections to my preferences as we moved along. The result, a perfectly sized breast holster which doesn't pinch, and won't bulge in all of the wrong places. Bonus: with 'European Sizing', I left feeling like I have Dolly Parton sized boobs. It turned out that they had a great special on in the store (buy 2, get 1 free), so I left with 3 sets (holsters + undergarments) for $180. Realistically, this is no more (maybe less) expensive than Victoria Secret, but I have higher quality, properly fitted bras (check). As I checked out, I was offered enrollement into the Change loyalty program so that my size is saved, and I'll probably get emails for future specials, deals and events in the store (check). Also, for the guys - if your lady is enrolled, you can easily go lingerie shopping for her, and they will have her size on file. A great experience overall, and I will definitely go back. read more

On my first visit here, I purchased five bras. I was unsure about the fit of them but desperately needed new ones so I bought a few to at least have some on hand. They were all very ill-fitted and uncomfortable so I decided to go back and try again. On my second visit here, I was told that my current bra size was wrong - even though I was measured and sized at this store. I purchased three more bras hoping they would work better. Since purchasing all of these bras, seven of the eight I purchased have broken, torn, or had the underwire pop out. One broke the first time I put it on (it didn't make it out of the house as one of the clasps fell off as soon as I did it up). I also put a huge emphasis on support and minimizing size as these are two very important things to me, but I didn't find either of these things in a single bra I purchased. Of course none are refundable, even the one that was never technically worn as it broke immediately. In the store, I found the salespeople incredibly friendly, but they didn't seem to know how to fit larger breasts. I was told multiple times that the middle centre part didn't need to sit flat on my chest and could stick out a bit, though I insisted that didn't seem right. A bra salesperson should know how uncomfortable (and sweaty) it is when your breasts are pushed together all day. I found the salespeople were helpful and really wanted to try to help me find something, but kept convincing me to fit into something that wasn't shaped to me rather than finding something that fit my shape and body type. I spent nearly a thousand dollars in this store and still don't own a single item I'm happy with. Really disappointing experience and absolutely no attempt to remediate the situation even though I was sized wrong in the first place, so if you do end up shopping here, just be really sure about the size and quality of what you'd buying before you leave the store. read more

The only thing I can buy there is their thongs. They are the most comfortable thongs I have ever owned. They don't give you a wedgie! ha! Their bras are European sizes so nothing fits me there. Online they have larger sizes but I don't buy online. The staff are very nice. The store is well kept. read more

I have been on the hunt for a proper fitting swimsuit for quite some time now. Last weekend I decided to pop into Change since specialty stores typically carry a wide range of sizes. Ranae fitted me and gave me my European size equivalent. They had quite a few bikini options, not as many one pieces as I had hoped for. The associate gathered a ton of things for me to try on and I left the store happily with 3 sets. Though they are pricier than the common lingerie brand (LaSenza etc.) it is well worth it when you consider garment quality and proper sizing. The ladies working were extremely helpful and efficient. I was in and out within a half hour! Overall a very pleasant experience. read more

If you know bras these are definitely subpar! Went with my mom and she got 2 and I got one. Hers broke after 2 wears and mine looks like it has been through war even though I take really good care of my bras. Let's not even talk about the fact that they get loose and don't fit properly after a couple of wears. Definitely not worth the money. read more

This is several months late, but I was too angry to say anything earlier. When I moved to Canada, I was told that Change was a great place for plus size bras, by other women considered to be plus size. It was honestly the only store I was told of. I needed new bras for an upcoming trip so I made the trip downtown. I was fitted and was told that my current bra wasn't fitting properly and they sized me FIVE sizes smaller. I mentioned that it was too tight and I was constantly reassured that the bands would stretch and everything would be fine. I naively believed them and it was ok, but not great, so I bought the bras. The bands did not stretch. I was in so much pain on my vacation. I went back after and Change did make an exception with the return policy after i showed them the photos of the deep red marks left by the bras. I tried going up two sizes, but the sales person kept telling me that I would lose all support. I exchanged for the next size up with the promise that they would stretch out. I kept waiting for them to stretch out, but they never did. I now have almost $200 worth of bras sitting in my drawer that will never be worn. I caution everyone to listen to their gut and not the sales people. read more

After having two babes and a combined two and a half years of breast feeding (yes ladies, your boobs will get softer and seemingly droopy after all of this, it's true), I have finally found what so few women do. A fantastically fit bra! Who needs breast surgery when you have the perfect bra? La Senza is the pits when it comes to fit; Secrets From Your Sister was a difficult experience for me from fit to their professionalism on a few occasions but Change, wow I absolutely love these guys. While the styles all sit differently I have found one to knock 'em dead. I now feel a lot more confident in my self and appearance and didn't realize it wasn't there to begin with until I had the tight bra. Oh, and the staff are whip it, on it and non judgmental. I came here with a couple of girlfriends. The prices where better than some of the other places in T.O. you can go for a proper bra fitting, but the service was markedly sub-par. The "fittings" were rushed and not very accurate. The staff wasn't rude, but were not particularly friendly or helpful, either. And none of the three of us were that impressed with the bras we bought. The quality of the bras were mediocre, and we all agreed that they were not comfortable. read more

I've been to this store several times now and have always received good service. They carry a wide range of sizes and have both a good selection of basics and fashion bras. Occasionally the quality of the bras can be hit or miss. Change sometimes uses scratchy laces and threads, so it is really important that you run your fingers over every part of the bra to make sure it is smooth and soft. I have bought a few bras without doing this and ended up only wearing them once or twice before I got rid of them - but the bras I have checked over carefully in store have ended up being the bras I wear the most. Be careful when shopping here (take your time!) and you will end up with properly fitting bras that you love. read more

Change is a bra shop that's been open for about 5 years on Queen West, but due to the lack of need for a lot of basic T shirt bras, I never walked through the doors. The biggest bit of advice would be to improve the display in the front- make it more obvious what the real draw here is. I was told about the range of sizes from a tiny but generous friend- girls, you know what I mean? She ended up with some ridiculous size that I've never heard of. So, today, I walked in and guess what? I, too, walked out with a ridiculous size. I've always known most women walk around with an ill-fitting bra. Ladies, this place is great at finding at least one soutien-gorge that will fit. But, you might not get the exact style you wanted, or the color, or the size you think you want. So, hurray for Change, but be prepared to compromise. After wearing it around for a day, my friend asked me why I'm squeeky like poutine cheese. It's my new bra, I'm not 100% on the fit nor the material its made of. Oh well, better luck next size. read more

I went in to find some bras, after having luck at the change in my hometown. The bras the sales lady gave me to try on we're the worst fit ever. The underwire was nowhere near my chest, the fabric was gapey - no good. She said it was a great fit but luckily I knew better and left. This store gets 2 stars because they were open on a Sunday, the staff was polite and they ended up pointing me to another lingerie store down the street that was far superior. read more

Like a large portion of the population who sports a bra, I was wearing the wrong size probably ever since I first hooked myself up into one. This was mainly because (a) no other bra "specialist" properly fitted me, and (b) the lowest band size most mainstream lingerie stores carry tends to be 30-32. So for years I thought my size was 32B (because I still found 30 band sizes to be hard to come by), and I just sort of learned to deal with it unless I wanted to dole out the money at a custom bra boutique. I decided to stop into Change after class one day since I go to school nearby, and I am so happy I did! Not only was I finally sized correctly by a friendly staff member, but I found a couple of beautiful styles for an absolute steal of a price ($10 each! One was $89 beforehand ...). It turns out that my proper band size is 28, and cup sizes do change relative to band size (which I can understand as well). So I walked out with 28E's instead of the generally poor fitting 32B's I had just grown used to. I am happy that I found a mid-priced lingerie chain now that has such variety in terms of sizing! Regardless of your size, I would recommend popping in to the Queen W location. You get a free sizing for their line, plus the sales are unreal when they go on! Also - their swimwear line looks very attractive too, and they seem to have a fairly versatile range of sizes for them too. read more

I just wanted to drop by and get a present for my significant other. Called first and mentioned the size I need... they confirmed they had them. So I walked in. Started browsing. 5min... 10min... COMPLETELY IGNORED. Finally a harried sales girl comes by and asks if I need anything. I said yes, and then she vanished again. Two other ladies walked into the store after me, and they got helped right away. I walked around for 5 more minutes and after STILL not getting any assistance walked out. So this store totally ignores guys walking in. Atrocious service. Even if the prices are ok, this complete disregard for common courtesy isn't worth the monetary savings. If I could give them a 0 rating I would.Stores like this do not DESERVE to stay in business. Walked into an adjacent store, Kallome Intimates, got greeted right away and got great customer service by multiple sales reps. read more

Horrible customer service. I had walked in and was looking around, the girl at the counter asked if I had been fitted at the store, which I hadn't. But I have been fitted at other stores that cater to a wide range of bra sizes and I told her my size. She said to me in a very dismissive almost insulting tone that the size I told her 'means absolutely nothing here'. No further explanation as to why it means nothing. I understand that fit sometimes fluctuates based on different styles and designs but to not even acknowledge what I was saying and act so arrogantly, that's not exactly what I call customer service. Definitely will not be going back, there are lots of other places in Toronto that actually provide good customer service. read more

Let me say that I love the basic nude t-shirt bras that this shop sells. They are only slightly more expensive than regular high street shops, but the memory foam is super comfy and with proper care they can last a while. However, the staff here are consistently not good. Admittedly I wear a bit of a weird/hard to find size; the last time I visited I asked a member of staff to check the stock to see if they had my size in a basic nude t-shirt bra, she straight up told me they didn't have my size, and then walked away from me (in a very rude manner). Finding no help from her, I asked another member of staff to check for my size, in the exact same bra, turns out the shop actually did have my size and that first member of staff just couldn't be bothered. I thought that was just a one time bad experience, and as I said I love the bras here. I went back this Monday to get another bra and to be refitted. I was resized alright (though the sizing was rushed and not explained properly until I asked for an explanation) and came out with a new basic nude t-shirt bra. I was surprised at the cost of the bra at the till, as it was more expensive than what I had paid in the past, but I was in a hurry so paid and left. Once I had returned home I discovered that I had been charged $79 for a $39 bra! I still have the receipt and the bra, and will be going back to get a refund, but this is a huge waste of my time, not to mention having to find parking down near Queen St. which will cost me at least another $5. The staff members here seem to consistently seem "out of it" or not bothered with their work. I have bought quite a few bras at this shop, I even have an account with them! However once I get a refund on this overcharge I will not be returning; I'm sure I can find a great nude bra without having to deal with the hassle of staff who can't be bothered doing their jobs properly. read more

Selection of styles (in terms of fashion and colours ,not bra type) is okay. I was hoping it would have more elegant or cute styles. Other than that, the store has a large inventory of plus size bras. As I tend to be on the smaller side, unfortunately, nothing in store fit me. Their smallest size was too small and anything in between, from what they had, didn't fit me. From what I saw, it seems that they cater more to people with D and up. read more

My first visit to Change and I'm a convert. A very helpful sales woman measured me and fitted me into the prettiest bras I've owned in years. Being large breasted, I always found bra shopping very frustrating. These fit AND look and feel beautiful. My only complaint is that they didn't have my size in a couple of styles that I really liked. read more
