But, back to the moment in time at that checkout stand. My husband was appalled that she would bring politics into her workplace. We figured the folks here were of a different political persuasion than we were, but no big deal, we get along with all types, right? But she took it over the top and just totally disregarded the fact her customers come in all types, including conservative in a rather conservative area. I had several broken heads, they marked them and said they'd be back later the same day to repair. Nope. Not even a call so I ended up calling them to get on the schedule. It took 3 weeks for them to do what they did and I still have a sprinkler in my front yard that they would not investigate. Told me it didn't exist. These guys are great! I saw them working at a neighbor's house a couple of weeks ago and asked for…read morean impromptu quote on trimming a 100-year-old box elder in my front yard. The tree was dangerously hanging over my house and my neighbor's house and had dropped a limb literally one day after the last tree trimmer "made it safe". It was an insurance claim waiting to happen. I was quoted $1500 to trim it back to where I requested, which I agreed to, and they got me on the schedule shortly thereafter. They spent the last 9 hours at my house and it looks so much safer now! In fact, when they had cut it back to where we previously agreed one branch was still hollowed out so I requested they cut off some more. They could have said "no" and driven off, but they broke out the chainsaw they had just put away and got back in the bucket lift. When they were all done, they blew off the leaves and sawdust from my rooftop and gutters, raked my lawn, and they even help out a local family by giving them the wood they cut up. When all was said and done I did end up paying an extra $500 for the extra work, but that was entirely by my request and they most definitely earned it. I'll definitely call Grassworx 208 for any tree-trimming needs in the future. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
