Set in a cluster of stone built barns the centre is delightful. In the various little outhouses, previously stables, there is a selection of small crafters business ranging from wrought iron work to high class soft furnishings. In the main building on the higher level can be found a maze of individual rooms displaying the items for sale from various dealers, who all rent the space. Downstairs, again all items ranging from large pieces of furniture to small items of collectables and jewellery are offered for sale by different people. To relax after what can become hours of browsing as everything is so intriguing, the visits can be brought to a close in the warm and friendly coffee shop.

The shop (renovated house) is huge and has two floors of rooms stuffed full of antiques This shop sells period clothing which is the main reason me and my friends visit because we are interested in such things. It is enjoyable to walk around, yet a little creepy at times, especially if you are on your own. Staff are generally friendly but a little weary about youths and so when we walk in they follow us around the whole shop in case we do something stupid i suppose. The antiques are crammed in and so you have to be careful when you are walking round and this can be hard when things are hanging off of tables. It never seems to get very busy at all. The prices can be quite expensive.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and always there to help. It has over 55 dealers on two floors dealing in all sorts of antiques and collectables including vintage clothing, silver, vinyl records, furniture, military items, antique jewellery and much more. The jewellers is family owned and dates back to a whopping 1875 - such knowledge as fine metals and gems passed down from generation to generation is a delectable thought and the staff here (Fielding or no) do not let the side down. They have much more expertise than I ever did when I worked in a shop selling jewellery (not strictly a jewellery shop, but still). And this is a comforting thing for such a shopping experience as buying something partly for its monetary value, worth its weight in gold and all that. By the way they do a cash for gold service here if you don't want to send off yours in an envelope to scary advert people. Less hassle all round. E Fielding has plenty of fine necklaces and rings, which they specialise in. And watches, one of my personal weaknesses. Definitely worth a browse for a nice pendant; something simple that will add to an outfit subtly rather than take all the attention away from it, for instance.

The shop its self is so tiny, not very pushchair friendly at all, barely room to swing a cat but theres plenty of stock and prices are great. a fantastic shop for the perfect gift

This man took my engagement ring to replace the diamond. What I got back was a squashed ruined…read moremess. Wonky casing withdrips if metal all over the ring. The other diamonds were covered in metal also. When I complained I was treated like a complete idiot. I was told the ring was fine and "what did I know about jewelry" he also leant over the counter and laughed in my face while I was crying. He told me my "so called £300 ring wasn't worth anything".... So he's got a crying woman with a ruined engagement ring and as a jeweller he's telling me to shut up as its not worth his time! He took my ring back to "fix" the damage I was insisting he'd caused..... He took the replacement diamond out (along with 2 others) refunded my repair money and left me with an unwearable engagement ring, due to how squashed and damaged it is.
