He kept lied over and over about getting samples, he said he was going then he never did. Had me go to a local dealer to see what I liked, told me he would probably go with the local company, because he had never gone to their preferred company to get samples. Then after months, he finally got samples, changed the kitchen cabinets with out telling me. He submitted A drawing that he drew up changed cabinet sizes and styles without saying anything. He showed the drawing the night the cabinets were ordered, with no heads up that he decided to change cabinet types, ie: cabinet instead of drawers. didn't put the spacers in so the cabinets lined up properly, So I ended up with this great big gap. Never followed through with scheduling. He never scheduled the painters to install baseboards or paint them. Put the gaskets in the sink upside down, then had to schedule a plumber to find out why the new sink was leaking into new cabinets. Made a mess outside the back door and never cleaned it up, so it was tracked in on the new carpet. He never follow up on the work to make sure it was done properly. New cabinet door don't close properly, drawers rub on the cabinet doors because the doors were not installed properly, finally got him to come out to fix things that were done wrong, all I got was guys fiddling around with the cabinets, but didn't fix them, they broke blinds and just wanted to glue them instead of replacing them. Most companies would replace things they broke. Also broke the on a stand. Totally unprofessional and sub par work. Not a good company. DON'T USE SERVPRO.

If the owners or managers are reading this, you are garbage human beings, you are TERRIBLE at your jobs (which is probably why you work the lowest rung of construction jobs--you're incompetent!), and I promise you I will spend the rest of my life convincing every person I possibly can NOT to support your business. You should be ashamed.

But, let me just preface my…read morecomments with the fact that I was grumpy with them for the past six months because everything took longer and cost much more than I expected. However, this was the first time I had dealt with such a situation (bathroom flooded and seeped to the rest of the condo and the floors needed to be redone). I didn't realize there were three different areas of work that needed to be done: mitigation and cleaning, deconstruction, and reconstruction. I thought "mitigation and cleaning" was the sum total of what needed to be done and inclusive of everything. I had no understanding that there were three phases. It could be that someone in the company tried to explain it to me, I don't know. I was dealing with too much at the time (health concerns, a mother with health concerns, moving, etc.) and nothing was going right and it made me really grumpy thinking about how much money was going toward this project and how long it was taking. However, the Cleaner Guys continued to be professional and polite throughout the experience. Once they were done with the flooring and repairs I was very, very happy. They did a fantastic job not only with the flooring, but also with repairs, repainting, replacing, etc., and the condo almost feels like a brand new home. I am very happy with the work that they did. Just remember that it will cost more and take longer than you expect it to. It's not going to be a sprint. It's going to be a marathon.

We purchased a beautiful home on Guemes Island, off the mainland of Washington state. The house has lots of character and many custom elements, including wood trim from native trees. As such, we needed to find a contractor who respected and appreciated the craftsmanship and who would make an extra effort to retain the high quality and look. Our first major project was to transform a tiny powder room into a 3-piece bath with shower. After interviewing several contractors, we decided to go with Cameron and Bigfoot Builders. He was extremely detailed in his project scope and pricing. He was also the only one with an online website which was customized for our project and where we could check on timeline, progress, change orders, etc. Working with Cameron was very easy. He took 360 degree photos and translated them into a diagram that showed the amount of space we had and what could be done with it. Since we had a large closet on the other side of the wall with the sink, he proposed that we utilize some of that space for the shower, while keeping the remainder of the space as a very usable clothes closet with shelves. Timing was a bit delayed, but not due to their work. Being on an island has its challenges and the ferry accessing Guemes was out for 6 weeks so, by the time we could actually get started, it was well into peak season and we had to work with each subcontractor (electrician, plumber, tile, etc) as they became available. Cameron was really good at communicating dates of availability and trying to move things up when he could. Each of the subs did exceptional work, so no complaints there. Cameron worked with us with the colors and materials and offered valuable input. The result is very functional and high quality, maintaining the craftsmanship and look of the rest of the house. The materials allowance included in the estimate was generous, unlike many contractors who try to keep those costs minimal. Cameron understood what the desired final look would be and was able to procure high quality materials. He even had an extra tall custom shower door built rather than a standard off the shelf door so the look would be more cohesive. The shower door will be installed today and I am looking forward to the final, finished look. The bath is situated between a bedroom and media room and really looks like it is an ensuite to the bedroom. It does not look like an add-on. I can't say enough about the high quality work that the Bigfoot team does. Kyle, who was working hard the whole project, did exceptional work, even according to the other subs. He framed out the shower stall perfectly, so perfectly that the man who came to take the shower door measurements had to take them three times because he could not believe how perfectly the job was done. He told me that "they could have just sent me the measurements and saved me a ferry ride". The entire Bigfoot team is a pleasure to work with. Everyone is pleasant, respectful, and eager to please. This is such a welcome departure from other contractors that I have worked with. Even smaller, miscellaneous tasks like a sliding door lock (which my husband mangled) were done with cheerfulness and attention to detail. This company has upped the bar for their competition. I will be doing other projects with them.
