Really delicious chocolate mousse available here! They have them made with different types of chocolate from different countries. Some are stronger dark chocolate flavors and some are medium to light. I decided to get the one with 60% chocolate from Ecuador. As delicious as it was, for 7 euros in a small cup was way overpriced. Page put about 2 scoops that weren't even full. The mousse didn't even go all the way to the bottom of the cup, which it definitely should for the price. I wouldn't necessarily spend 7 euros for this again, but it's definitely yummy to try once when in Paris.

7 euros for a small cone is kinda crazy but what can you do? They only offer 75% or 100% chocolate mousse so I elected to get the first. The texture is super light and airy, not at all what I expected, almost like a thicker whipped cream. I enjoyed it but on its own it can be a lot to eat even though the portion is small because it's super chocolatey! I had some with a croissant and it was great.

My sister saw this spot on Instagram and so we came here for an afternoon sweet treat. They gave us samples of chocolate while waiting in line and we had the choice or milk or dark chocolate. There were two different mousse options (milk or dark) and there's a separate line inside or purchasing chocolates vs purchasing just mousse. The line is long but orderly thanks to the employees. Credit cards are accepted. Even though I'm usually a dark chocolate girly, I'd recommend the milk chocolate mousse. I'd also recommend splitting one between two people.

Unreal. I have never seen mousse served takeaway like this but I loved the concept. For €7, you get a snow-cone cup filled with mousse. They have a few flavors that rotate, but appeared to have some dark and white chocolate. We opted for the dark chocolate made with almond milk. It was so rich with little bits of chocolate throughout. I recommend sharing because even though it looks small, it's so rich!

The chocolate soufflé was divine .. simple yet so rich and full of flavors. I will definitely be going back.

This chocolaterie is forever etched in my chromosomes. This is where I had that "chocolate moment" this is where the dark chocolate told me, hey, milk chocolate sucks. It is just a tiny chocolate shop but the whiff of chocolate and the number of people coming in and out intrigued us. I didn't know this shop existed; we were just traipsing along the cobbled streets of Paris when we found this gem. The lady manning the counter was extremely nice; she even spoke English to me. She gave us samples, too. Most of the chocolates we bought (and we bought ten boxes to bring home) were ganache based like Armagnac, blackcurrant, salted caramel, spiced, and raspberry pulp to name a few. We also had those chocolate covered cacao beans that we finished in le cab.

This was one of our favorite stops. Small place where you can sample nibs made from beans around the world. Had the place to ourself, and he showed us how they make chocolate paste, we tried roasted beans, ordered chocolate drinks. Fun!

I visited a lot of wonderful chocolate shops in Paris and this was one of my favorites. There are 4 or 5 kinds of chocolate mousse that they give you to go in little paper cones; the girl behind the counter took the time to explain each one's tasting notes & origins. They have beans & bars from all over the world that you can sample as well as a case of chocolates which you can buy by the piece. I bought a small box and when I got back to the States and tried a few, I was so disappointed that that I didn't get a larger box- it was some of the very best chocolate I've ever had in my life. Definitely the best praline I've ever tasted. It was so good I'm actually considering flying back over for a weekend in December to buy a bunch for Christmas gifts. You read that right- it's SO good that it warrants a trip across the ocean! Do NOT miss this place if you're in Paris and you're a chocolate lover.

The best chocolate, caramel, and fruit jelly shop in Paris…read more I've bought other chocolates around Paris and while pretty in color, it didn't meet my expectation. I brought back souvenirs of the chocolate and loved the flavors and the packaging. The staff even wrote expiration date on each of the containers and packaged in cool bags so that it can withstand the flight. Back at home, everything tasted good but it just didn't do justice from what I was able to taste in real time. The chocolate melts in your mouth and had lots of flavor, the jelly is addictingly good, and my favorite was the caramel. It's creamy, soft, and chewy without sticking to your teeth. I regret not getting the 1KG but it was around $200. All the chocolates, jelly, and caramel had variety of delicious flavors and hands down, a must stop in Paris. While waiting, they also have sofas that you can lounge on and saw many tour groups come by, which made me panic since we were waiting on our chocolates getting packaged and waiting to purchase the caramels and jelly. Luckily, most left after a quick briefing on the history, but it also affirmed that this spot was legit. Do note that these don't last long. Chocolates and caramel last 2 weeks and jelly lasts a week. I wouldn't suggest bringing back the jellies since it turned colors during the flight and was sticky.

Lunch reservations for Pierre Hermé is always a good idea. This one is inside the Bonmarché complex…read more- just walk to the back of the large entryway with all the restaurants We had a small drama over our table as I'm guessing they thought we did not have a reservation so they wanted to seat us by the entrance while all these other tables, in the empty restaurant, had "reserved" signs on them. After pointing out again we also had a reservation, we were seated inside at one of the better tables with the placard & not right beside the door which was constantly opening. So eventually things worked out & all was well The food definitely made up for the table miscommunication as it was over the top delicious. Mr chose the mushroom French toast with mushrooms and hazelnut cream. It was pudding-like and very strong mushroom flavor which was delightful I chose the roasted cauliflower and it was likewise superb. Roasted and marinated cauliflower with yellow florets, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and puréed cauliflower base. Dessert included 2 passion fruit & a pistachio macaron. Intense flavors, soft cookie Food perfection all around!

Their desserts have a lower price for carry out btw. I ordered the 2000 feuilles, Jardin japonais, strawberry tart and 3 macaroons. For the 2000 feuilles, it's like a Napoleon with hazelnut in between. It somewhat taste like ferrer rocher in a way. It's my favorite out of the 3 since I like hazelnut and it's not too sweet. They also did a really good job with the Napoleon part for the dessert. As for Jardin japonais, it has a matcha flavored top with yuzu cream at the bottom. It's light, not too sweet. I only got a bit from the strawberry tart and it seems alright. Overall, I'll definitely try other things if I come back. Btw, they have some macaroons flavor that you can't find elsewhere
