I received a confirmation via text almost immediately. I found Dr. Funke Daramole to be very professional and thorough while going through my medical history. She listened to my concerns and has already taken steps to look into what the causes could be. If this is the kind of care I will be receiving going forward, this could be the start of a very long Dr/patient relationship.

During my first 2 appointments with her, I had to ask reception if she was coming back. They just shrugged. They seem petrified of her. I feel that this clinic is defrauding the system! Bringing me in for a second appointment to tell me my pap exam results were negative! NEGATIVE! I've been getting annual pap tests for 42 years and never have I had to come into ANY clinic to see a doctor to receive negative test results! Since when was it OK to waste patients' time and government funds/tax payers money to deliver routine, negative exam results in person? Any other clinic's policy is "no news is good news" and results are mailed from the lab, however this clinic has posters saying you have to call for all test results, but they will not give results over the phone so that call will always end up as an unnecessary appointment. They have no conscience at all! When I called her on it, she was visibly scrambling to find another reason for me being there. She relies on patients not knowing what fraud looks like. It's people like this who are causing the health care system to fail in Alberta.

My appointment was cancelled today because I was 10 min late. The first time I've ever been late (unfortunately I ran into traffic) and I found out about the cancellation when I checked in. Apparently they only book 15 min appointments....you might be desperate to go to a doctor, but don't skimp on your health. Find a better clinic. I've always found it easy to get an appointment with my doctor, but when she has been unavailable, I've seen other doctors at the clinic (at least four) and been comfortable with them all. Since all my charts and files are kept at the clinic, whichever doctor I see has my history there, and my regular GP can access them next time I see her. The thing I love the most about this clinic is that it is also a walk in, and my doctor reserves a couple of walk in spots a day for her regular patients. When I have had need of walk in services, I've been able to call the clinic when it opens and often get a quick visit with my doctor. I hate going to the doctor, so if I like a clinic, it's worth sharing!

The great thing about Dominion is that my location (Century Park) called the MacTaggart location to find out how many people were waiting. It turned out to be 3 and they added me to the list. By the time I drive there (which was only about a 10 minute drive) I was at the front of the list. This Dominion is much like my own. Nice, modern and clean. Staff are very friendly and polite. The Doctor I saw was very personable. I really don't have any complaints from my visit here. What I will do next time though is my location can sometimes be busy. If it is I will ask how many people are waiting in MacTaggart. If it's a much shorter list it is worth the drive to that location.

The male Dr. That was working there on July 31st was fantastic. He made my child feel Very comfortable and listened to him and me about what happened. He informed me exactly what he wanted to do for my son. He ended up having to get a stitch to a gash on the right side of head and this dr and the assisting nurse were amazing. They even brought out a toy chest where my son was able to pick up 3 little Toys. They did their best to make him comfortable during this very traumatic moment. Asking my friend why he was there, several times, and then said he should have gone to the hospital emerg. and when my friend explained he was concerned with his eyes and if he could take a look the doctor told my friend he should have gone to see an optometrist if he was concerned with his eyes. I honestly have no words for the lack of empathy or concern this supposed doctor had. He should not be in this profession if he doesn't have time to help people. Isn't that what a doctor does??!!

Wrong glasses can affect a child's vision, school, and daily life. I trusted them with my child's eye care, but they failed us and used up my insurance coverage in the process. I'm sharing this so other parents know to double-check prescriptions before trusting this place. Children's eyesight is too important to risk. I do not trust this store any more. Instead of helping, the manager acted tough and uncooperative, which made the experience even worse
