My mother in-law who was traveling with us mentions that her cafe con leche was too dark (it was too dark it was more like a cortadito than a cafe con leche - but I like that so it was all good for me). My mother-in-law approached the counter and was ignored for some time until the cashier gestured to the same sugar packet lady - she promptly asked what she wanted, when she explained her request for a little extra milk she snapped back with "you should have asked earlier". These are just a couple examples of our experience there. Again, as a Miami native, and Latina I'm very familiar with the Latin bakery concept. Our experience was unfortunate.
