Wonderful sandwiches; we had the turkey Swiss and a ham and cheese- the sweet ham is delish. The baguette is quite good. The quesitos with cheese are always good. Service isn't overly friendly, so that was slightly disappointing, but the food is worth overlooking the service flaws. Near the beach, good walking distance to eat in or takeout.

as soon as you land you have to try this bakery! it's a slice of PR with all the flavors. they have a separate counter for bakery items and another for hot foods. the service is great, parking gets a little tight but totally worth it!

Okay, if you're in Carolina near the beach..Just cross the bridge and come here. I will say, it's sort of pricey but fresh. An abundance of friendly staff. They have everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner, wine, bakery, deli items and more. Its located right by the highway so it's busy and good. My dad has taken me here in the past. Okay so not super expensive but definitely on par with tourist pricing due to location but I can't knock the hustle

Used to live around the corner from here 1969 to 1975, excited to see they are still open. That have quadrupled in size and of course updated everything. Bread & pastries were as amazing as I remembered.

Came with some friends before heading to the airport. Since we were there 2hrs before closing, volume was very low. I got coffee and toast. My friends got a sample of several pastries. Service was good. Employees spoke English which was helpful for the family I was with. Ambiance was good- clean, plenty of table. Not much to say it's cafeteria style bakery.

Great stop on the way back to the airport. The guava pastries are very good. It's a cafeteria like feel and does get very busy. Staff is friendly and the tables are clean.

Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Honestly, if I could give this place 20 stars, I would. This was the first place where we ate when we got in from our flight and we ate here again after our travels on the island. The first time we ate there, my husband ordered a bunch of food to share. We had some fried chicken wings, tostones, empanadas, rice and beans and my son had a Cuban. All of these dishes were cooked and prepared perfectly, exhibiting so much flavor. One day, when we went to the beach, I walked over here and got more empanadas, some soup and fresh seafood salads like a ceviche. Again, no disappointments and happy taste buds were all part of the experience. I'm actually thinking about going back there this morning before our flight!

One of my stations of the cross on my way back to the airport. Always fresh sandwiches and salads. Good Gallego stews and pastry as well as criollo items. Good place to spot celebrities and politicians.

I always come here before or when I first arrived in Puerto Rico. I came here before I left and ordered their delicious fresh bread and a sandwich. The service is always amazing and I definitely recommend it. All the items are fresh. It is a nice friendly environment with small tables. They have foods such as paella and other dishes. My family enjoyed their items when I arrived in New York.

Cuban Tamal appetizer. It's really flavorful!!!

Those who are in the know, know about this place. It was recommended by our friends who are from Puerto Rico. It was loud and boisterous in here. There is a seating area and it fills up fast with people who are constantly jockeying for a table. We got lucky and found a table next to the line for sandwiches. I ordered a pastrami sandwich which, when I got it, was piled high and had a magnificent cheese pull! My daughter only wanted a cinnamon roll and she had it and was a little disappointed. She said it wasn't as good as my wife's cinnamon rolls. I gotta say I'm biased as well. Right before we left, I ordered a baguette, which we ate throughout the day. It was nice and warm when we started. It lasted a while. We'll be back and I'll be hitting other sandwiches and pastries as well!

Budin- pretty good. Has raisins in it.

Food was good. Just the wait to order your food was terrible. Probably took 25 minutes to order a simple sandwich.

We met Victor and ended up eating at Bogetta. The brunch was amazing, and Victor was the best server ever. He made our experience a complete 100%. The dates stuffed with sausage were wrapped in bacon and provided the perfect sweet and unexpected savory. We loved it! Hubby ordered the lemon pancakes. Amazing!!! The lemon zest was infused into the light and fluffy pancakes, set off by the light and refreshing lemon cream that was on top of the pancake. The edible fresh flowers and strawberries were a delightful and unexpected touch. I had the huveas sol and wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! The avocados were fresh and tender. The vegetable puree was a wonderful explosion of flavor in my mouth when combined with the perfectly cook sunny side up eggs. Everything we ate was a win! I hope to come back before we head back to California. Today is day one, and it has exceeded our expectations thus far.

We made a reservation here on a Saturday night and were seated immediately in their outdoor area. Our waiter was very competent and nice, and most importantly, so fast! We started with a round of cocktails (I recommend a cocktail over their sangria) and they were brought out within 10 minutes. We then ordered a variety of tapas, including the gnocchi a la brava (my personal favorite, we ended up getting an additional order!) and rabbit turnovers (pretty good but not the most flavorful). All the food came out quickly and we had zero issues. Great dinner spot!

This is global techniques blended with locally sourced Puerto Rican ingredients. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. I was there to celebrate my birthday (a reservation is a must). I asked if I could be seated in a different section of the restaurant, and even though they were packed, they said absolutely and found me a lovely seat in the bar area. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I suffer from severe food allergies but wanted to experience their tasting menu. My server spoke to the chef directly and then took the time to walk me through every option. I TRULY appreciated that they did not take anything off the menu but rather told me how they could adjust for my allergies. That is very rare and so very much appreciated that they went that extra mile for me. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It's 5 courses and they give you 3 options to choose from, within each course. And for the price ($85), a great value. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the Breadfruit Gnocchi, Rainbow Runner Crudo, and Criollo Duck Mofongo. Chefs kiss! What I also noticed was, even though they were insanely busy, they didn't make you feel rushed. The invited you to savor the experience - which I did. Next time you are in San Juan, make a reservation and go. You won't be disappointed!

Everything else was very well done. The two of us split one order of the five-course tasting menu plus an additional starter, and it ended up being a nice light meal. Had we each ordered our own tasting menu, it would have been far more food than we wanted...something we found to be a fairly common theme with portion sizes throughout Puerto Rico. The standout of the evening was the Criollo Duck Mofongo, which was absolutely exquisite and easily the best mofongo we had on our trip by far. The cocktails were tasty and unique, but a bit small for the price. This definitely isn't an every-night kind of restaurant...the prices are on the higher side. But if you're looking to splurge a little, it's a fun place to do it.
