I have been seeing Dr. Greene since 2003 and he is the best ENT I have ever been to. He is very thorough with his exams and he does an excellent job at explaining any and all conditions you have. He even has flatscreen tvs in his exam rooms that play videos to explain various conditions in laymans terms. Years ago, I developed polyps on my vocal cords and had laryngitis for well over a month. He performed outpatient surgery on me at Memorial Hospital and the procedure went very smoothly. He's an excellent surgeon. My follow-up care after the surgery was excellent. I suffer from severe acid reflux (which is what caused the polyps) and I still continue to see him every now and then just to make sure the condition isn't flaring up and the prescription medication is continuing to take care of the problem. My parents always taught me that if you have nothing nice to say, it's best to keep it to yourself. With that in mind, I'll keep this brief and stick to my experience. In my opinion: Too many tests, procedures, and treatment options that didn't seem necessary. The focus felt more financial than patient-centered. Most of the staff was friendly; however, Dr. Greene rushed through my appointment and cut me off while I was explaining what was happening to me because he said he knew already. He cut me off then pointed at the video screen for me to watch an animated video about the ear. If you do any additional testing (allergy test, balance test, or hearing test), do them all before scheduling a follow up because you'll need a follow up to get your results from each test. read more

Boy, do I ever wish I had come here and seen all the one star reviews prior to wasting my time and money with Dr. Greene and his horrible staff. Over one year ago I was diagnosed by Dr. Greene with 'hearing loss and vertigo' he told me were NOT correctable and either 'neurological or genetic.' One year later I'm worse and the condition is NEITHER 'neurological or genetic' but he left it to me to figure out it is AUTOIMMUNE and get on a path to treatment. He LIED or was incompetent in not knowing of another cause for my condition, he dismissed my true 'lived experience,' and when I attempted to call his staff on clarification of my condition, his staff said 'he informed you about your condition, we're not speaking to you further.' If I had a chance to give this doctor 0 stars - I would! The personnel in the office is just money-hungry people that keep taking and taking your money ($500 for 4 appointments year-to-date with no help so far!). They refuse to provide insurance pre-authorization for hearing aids to the insurance company saying that nobody in the office knows how to do it! They don't tell you this upfront, but keep taking and taking money, scheduling more and more appointments. You're better off going elsewhere! read more

This was a disheartening experience. I had an ear infection that I could not shake. Dr. Greene looked in my ears and said that one was infected. When I questioned him later, he said, "I say things all the time I don't mean to say, and my wife gets onto to me." At that point, the trust was lost. Did I have an ear infection or not? He made me feel like I couldn't ask him to look in my ear again just to make sure. If I had a question, he chided me because I didn't already know thei answer. I was struggling to hear at that point because of my ears. The nasal endoscopy was done without numbing spray!! Two out of the three things he gave me were over-the-counter so at that point, I lost all instruction on which an ear to do the care with. I was given no written instructions and no instructions were in the portal as of Monday, the time they said the wait for it. My appointment was last Friday. I called on Monday and it is now Thursday morning with questions of a serious nature and have not heard back. I also used the portal and have not heard back since then. I saw a better ENT yesterday morning who really helped me. Two of the three things Dr. Greene prescribed, which were over-the-counter, I didn't even need and could've actually exacerbated the problem. I can hear now. This other ENT actually treated me. And they also agreed they had heard similar about this doctor. Go somewhere else, please. read more

TLDR: Gross, zero stars, do not recommend!!! I went to Dr Green to discuss a bone lesion at my frontal sinus. He ordered a CT scan. When I showed up for a follow up appt, his office denied having imaging results but i was promised a phone call. Later that day a radiology office calls to schedule a biopsy. No phone call or follow up from Dr Greens office. It gets better: For the biopsy results, I had to wait an hour and a half to be seen. (It's benign, this could have been done over then phone.) At the appt Dr Green had no idea I had had a biopsy and was there for follow up. He left to find results and returned 10 minutes later. He then gave me incorrect information and acted arrogant when i questioned him. Ex: I had been told by other doctors the tumor may need to be removed due to its location and its growth rate. Dr Green couldn't discuss this because he still didn't have the images he ordered. He then told me there's no evidence my tumor is growing -- while looking at imaging from 2018. The newest imaging explained it had in fact grown. I could go on. He was completely in the dark regarding my situation but laughed it off and acted like a jerk. I walked out. He seems to use flirtation to keep his patients happy. This is gross and he seems grossly incompetent. Zero stars. Do not recommend. read more

I cant tell if he's any good because he doesn't seem to do his job at all. been waiting since November for eardrum surgery. the hole in my ear keeps growing while they keep rescheduling my surgery. BUT they don't reschedule it until the day of my appointment after having to take pto from work. if only he was competent enough to actually do his job. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Greene for recurrent sore throats and ear pain. I was told these were actually recurrent sinus infections and I would need a balloon sinuplasty and a deviated septum repair. I have a fairly high pain tolerance, but the surgery was BRUTAL. They prescribed a single Diazepam pill before the procedure, but wouldn't let me take it until 15 minutes beforehand (and only advised I take half). I had a panic attack as they numbed my nose (the solution dripped down my throat feeling like I couldn?t breathe) and my heart was racing from the lidocaine. His nurse provided minimal comfort, while Dr. Greene didn't even greet me as he came in the room. He gave his nurse an annoyed look and brought my husband back, only to turn him away 30 seconds later. I was visibly panicking and Dr. Greene said he would sing to me, as "his voice makes everything better". So tone deaf (no pun intended) and not what I needed as I'm having a visible panic attack. They started the procedure and the pressure and cracking sounds of my sinuses is something I will never forget. I wish I had been putting under general anesthesia or even a twilight for this; it was so horrible. Neither procedure even lasted, as I now am only able to breathe out of nostril and I'm getting sinus infections again. read more

3 year long nightmare. Brought my daughter here for minor nose bleeds. Months later we got a bill for $100.00 for a deductible on a procedure that was never performed. Went back and forth with office who promised us to take care of the mistake each time. They never corrected their mistake and a year later they sent us to collections. We battled them in collections but it was too late for anyone there to admit responsibility. We could've paid the $100 but it didn't seem fair since we knew they had made a mistake. They even added on the doctor notes about conditions our daughter has never had. Clearly, they mixed up the patients and charged us for another patient's services. We reported them with the BBB and the licensing board. 3 years later still very unfair to be in collections when we made several attempts from day 1 to sort things out and we were lied to that it would get fixed on their part but never did. So they got paid by our insurance for a procedure we didn't receive or needed, to add insult to injury they lied to us that it was getting fixed and on top of everything else they sent us to collections. read more

I had surgery about a year ago due to sinus issues. The staff were friendly but Dr. Greene is awful! First of all, I was about to go back into surgery with him when I heard him lying to my parents about how articulate and great I am... I had never met him in my life and he was looking right at me. Around a month after surgery I came back in due to acquiring acid reflux ( probably due to the surgery), and the first thing he said to me was " why are you here? you're not suppose to be here for another two weeks" in a very harsh and annoyed tone. I explained i had made an apt for acid reflux, not a check up for my surgery. Instead of taking ownership he said " oh,well, they didn't tell me that." He then asked me if I had been using the medicine he gave me for in my nose and I had to explain he never prescribed me any which made him visibly frustrated...as if that's my fault. After this, I was visibly annoyed and a staff member asked me about it, I explained what happened and she said " yes, he is very hard to work with." I usually don't write reviews, but it's been a year, my experience was awful and my nose is not healed- it's bleeding about once a week... from sneezing or any little thing that touches it. Along withe the results being awful, the Doctor needs to check his ego and treat his clients and staff better. Don't go here. read more

I had sinus issues for years that negatively impacted my life. I had surgery before by another ENT and was very nervous. Dr. Greene has excellent bedside manners. He took his time and answered my questions. He put me at ease. The sinus surgery was a breeze and I went back to work in a few days. Not only that, Dr. Greene also operated on my daughter. Prescriptions where not at the pharmacy after a week. He was not willing to look at my reports in regards what had been done and tested already and my Cd's I brought with me. He really did not listen to me at all to my health problem for which I came to see him. He displayed a kind of "full of himself" attitude. For that reason I cancelled the follow up appointment and requested my records. They would not release them to me without seeing him. I had to call Medicare for assistance and they called his office. Once I got my records, they are full of false information which I never disclosed to their staff nor to him. How in the world can they falsify your records which stay with you for the rest of your health life? I send those records back via return receipt requested with the request to correct my record s and send me another copy. That was 2 weeks ago and now I think I will see my attorney. Run the other way, do not make an appointment with this Doctor and his inefficient staff. read more
