I'm 76 years old, live on SSA so income is limited. I don't drive long distance due to a stroke. I had a scheduled appointments ,two in one day. The morning of the appointments my transportation got held up at work. I called to reschedule the appointment and was told I couldn't, unless it was scheduled for the same day, which couldn't be done due to transportation issues. Not a very friendly or impressive atmosphere. I attempted to arrange transportation, I couldn't so I called back and canceled the appointments with intents to reschedule for a later date. I was told that I would be billed for the appointments ,$100 each. Again I attempted to explain the issue but to no avail. Staff was not cooperative at all. I do not recommend this Doctor office and WILL NOT pay a $200.00 . My first visit was a joke to begin with. Very cold unprofessional office and staff. read more

The staff here are very unprofessional and should be reviewed. They dropped my boyfriend's medication on the floor in front of us and still gave it to him. No one explained the surgery well prior or gave us a post op rundown just patted him on the back and said you in a week. He never received his pre surgery medication or post op medication. More interested in setting up their revenue stream than addressing your problem. Went in with vertigo and somehow ended up being booked for 3 months worth of screenings, tests, labs, scans, etc. Doc whirrs into office with an entourage of people, looks in throat and rattles of a list of procedures, scans and tests and doesn't address my problem at all. 90 seconds later -- out the door and moving onto next cash flow -- I mean patient. From the sounds of other reviews, I'm not the only one who recognized/ experienced this Look elsewhere. read more

Dr. Greene was condescending, arrogant, and impatient. It was a horrible experience. To begin with, they called me into the room for my appointment well after my scheduled time. The nurse asked me all of the same questions I filled out in my paperwork while waiting. Not in a way to be more thorough, but because they didn't know at all because they didn't read my paperwork. It was pointless. The nurse practitioner came in and she was mostly polite but didn't listen to my concerns too much. Kept saying she had seen worse and it didn't seem to be a terrible issue when it's something that really bothers me. She kept wanting to talk more about allergies and post nasal drip which are things I really don't care about. I didn't visit for that reason. Dr. Greene came in and didn't even introduce himself or anything. I happily said hello and asked him how he was and with his back turned to me while in a draw he just said hi. The nurse practitioner introduced him and said this is Dr. Greene. He then just told me to open my mouth and told me I don't have a yeast infection and in a condescending manner. He told the nurse practitioner that as well. I had been telling them the entire time I didn't have an oral yeast infection. So instead of letting me discuss what I think I have been dealing with and looking inside my mouth more closely, they took a quick little peek and told me to not brush my tongue and to be gentle when I brush my teeth. I know when something is off inside my mouth or not. They tried to imply I'm not very aware of my own body and that I rely on the internet too much. So instead at the end of all of it they just wanted to focus on allergies and post-nasal drip issues so I can keep coming back and getting allergy prescriptions from them so I can pay for appointments and they can take my money. The nurse practitioner told me she had seen worse people and that I'd live. What a horrible place. read more

I am absolutely shocked to see that Jax ENT has only 2 reviews and they are both 1 star - considering they were both written on the same day, I can only assume it was a couple that wrote the reviews, but that's just my opinion, and again, and assumption. Anyway.... I have been going to Jax ENT and seeing Dr. Charles Greene since 2003.... that's 14 years, people (at least at the time of this review). I would say I have a pretty good opinion about the office, the staff, and Dr. Greene. There are several offices in town. Way back in 2003, I saw Dr. Greene at the office in Arlington. Since then, I have seen him at his office on University. Most recently (about 2 months ago), I saw him at this particular office.... Lake Mead. At all three offices I have been, the staff have all been wonderful and friendly. Smiling and eager to assist. At all three offices, I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the reception area before I was taken back and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see Dr. Greene once in the patient room. That's also pushing it..... Usually it's less than 5 minutes once I am in the patient room before Dr. Greene comes in with his warm smile and handshake. I'm not going to go into how absolutely wonderful Dr. Greene is because he has his own page on Yelp and I wrote a review there about him quite some time ago. I was really trying to give Dr. Greene the benefit of doubt after reading his poor reviews. The poor reviews are accurate, he makes you feel like just a number and will diagnose you with post nasal drip and TMJ just so you can come back to the office to pay for extra exams, botox injections, and allergy tests. I do not recommend anyone going to him for help, he did not want to listen to what I have to say or my concerns and made me feel horrible and uncomfortable. He was also rude, arrogant, and condescending like previous reviews had said. I recommend seeing another ENT in Jacksonville who will listen to your concerns and not try to take all your money. Worst doctor experience I have ever had in my entire life. I regret not listening more to the reviews because now I'm 300 dollars down the drain for multiple diagnoses that I may not even have. Just walked out of my ENT appointment. Saw Dr. Green. I felt more like a number instead of a patient. I felt rushed in and out. I tried to tell him that I was put on Vertigo medicine after exercises did not work. He turns around and gives me a list of exercises and sends me out the door. I completely feel like I was not heard by this doctor. $50 CO payment wasted and A-day to take off work wasted. read more

This has to be the worst ENT I have ever seen. When he was working on my ear, I felt like someone was stabbing me in the ear with and ice pick. I was in so much pain the tears began to run down my face. I left his office at 9:30am in pain. He was going to call me in a prescription for the pain. I called twice and texted twice, but the pain meds were not sent in until after 4pm and the pharmacy did not get it filled until around 7:30pm. I had to go an entire day without with pain meds. This showed me that this doctor and his officed cared nothing about me and the amount of pain I was in. I will never go back to this doctor again. read more

First time : i saw a nurse who didn't prescribe any medication for severe sinus infection. I had to see my primary doctor for medication after it. Second time : long waiting time. Help desk ladies talking shit while I was standing up waiting to check in Third time: I had to wait 1 hour to be seen. I wait longer than 20 minutes for my surgery paperwork. I had to have a large cyst removed from my face and for years I was turned away from every single doctor I went to. I got pregnant with my daughter and my OB/GYN referred me to Dr. Greene and he advised me that after I gave birth to please come back to schedule my surgery. About 3 weeks post delivery, I went in to schedule my surgery. I was scheduled for that same week and everything went PERFECTLY. He removed the cyst and left minimal scarring along my nose line that is easily covered by makeup. Unfortunately, the type of cyst I had is known for reoccurring so it's back and I am looking forward to dealing with Dr. Greene and his amazing staff once again! read more

I had a decent first appt. It did take 2 hours total from start to finish but I was well on my way to get some answers for my sinus issues. I was later scheduled for an allergy test that I had to cancel day of due to needing to take medicine for pain the night before. You can't get accurate results from an allergy test apparently when taking certain meds. They were unwilling to wave their $100 cancelation fee as a one time courtesy. It's really hard for some people to fork out money to go to the doctor as it is and find a good doctor in general. I'm really upset that my hard earned money will be forced to be spent on service not rendered. Back on the hunt to find a new ENT! read more

Making an appointment is necessary for any clinic or doctor, but be mindful that at JAX ENT Surgery, that may not be the case. Expect longer than normal wait times and sitting with other patients who are also waiting more than 1+ hour(s) with you...even with a morning appointment which are typically smooth. read more

I went to this office (University Blvd.) and saw Dr. Green so that I could discuss my chronic ear infection condition and my latest bout of this issue which had recently been resolved. He gave no regards to my primary concern and was trying to tell me that I had TMJ. After he did a TMJ exam and it was negative for TMJ, he then started rambling on that I did not have infection in my ears inner or outer. If he had listened to me from the get go (this guy does not listen to his patients I tell you), this would not have been necessary. I was referred to an ENT from my primary because that doctor thought it be beneficial for me to see a specialist. Well, it looks like my insurance sent me to the wrong place. I will definitely report this to them as well. Beware folks, this was not a good experience as it was just a waste of time and money for me. I cancelled my future appointments for this guy and if you are lucky enough to read this before you go, maybe you will think twice. This place is such a ripoff. My first visit they charge me $100 for my deductible to later find out their ear cleaning machine is broken. I was told to follow some easy steps to clean my ear out. Something Google could've showed me. I go back for my F/U visit and was told another $100 deductible for essentially going to tell me my ear is fine now. Stay away!! I've had many ENT doctors over he past 40 years, and Dr. Greene is the best I've had here or up north. I have had several procedures done there, but the Balloon Sinuplasty I had years ago change my life. It allowed me to breathe through BOTH nostrils for the first time since I was a teenager. I just saw him today for another issue, and I have a complete understanding of my problem because he took the time to to discuss it and he even drew me a picture of my issue. I had a horrible experience with this facility and the doctor. The office is extremely disorganized and the whole experience was very frustrating. I had to call 3 times and go to their office twice to get an explanation for a bill the sent me. No one knew what it was for. Im still suffering daily from the poor job the surgeon did 3 years ago. Im a singer and my life is forever changed because of this. I didn't feel like I was taken seriously and I'd highly recommend you not use this facility or the doctors here. I'm fairly healthy, 32 years old and had to have a tonsillectomy due to persistent tonsillitis. The surgeon cut more on one side due to what he called an abscess. He never told me that after surgery. I went home to endure the very painful healing process and was freaking out when I saw how asymmetrical my throat was looking. Only after I healed enough to call and talk to someone did I get an explanation. I felt very disrespected and would have appreciated the courtesy of a conversation after my surgery to explain how things went. None of that happened. I eventually healed but now have problems with constant dry throat and I snore now that my uvula hangs lower on one side. Never snored before. A year after surgery I got a second opinion at Beaches ENT. (Highly recommend them, btw. Excellent doctors and they take the time to talk to you and were very helpful and knowledgeable.) dr Brink said he would have done my surgery different knowing I was a singer. I was sent to this office because I had severe tonsillitis. I got there and saw the nurse practitioner. When she walked in she basically said I do not know why they scheduled you with me I have told them I do not do tonsil abscess draining. She said at first that I could wait 12 hours but if it got worse go to the ER. She walked out called Dr. Green and then came back in and said in front of my mother and I that it could be sepsis and that I would die!! she stuck her finger in my throat and said you have an abscess go to memorial ER. So I go to the ER sat and waited forever and they did everything ct with iodine and all and I did NOT have an abscess. So I have contacted the office several times and not ever been able to speak to the office manager and they are still sending me a bill for a copay for the visit that they did nothing! I called again today and was told that she has my file and that the office manager would call me right back and well...... she never did. This place is awful and I would not send my dog there. I have also let the urgent care that sent me there know the experience also so hopefully nobody has to endure the crap like I did. the front office staff was nice that is the only nice thing that I can say about this place! read more
