While the store did have a pretty good feel to it, which felt like a typical Hugo Boss store I can't help but feel the atmosphere was knocked by parts of the store being far too narrow and the staff not following the usual standards set by Hugo Boss, which you certainly should expect from a high end, designer chain. This is a great store to have in Meadowhall however and they do have some pretty cool items, especially in a mall where I feel Hugo Boss products aren't as well sold (many other stores have poor small selections for the brand) as elsewhere. 3*

The two main faults with this store had to be the ultra-loud music, it was hard to have a conversation or even think, I usually wear airpods which are noise-cancelling to a certain extent and I could still hear the music full blast and it was rather unpleasant. I couldn't even find a staff member on the shop floor, which made it all the more dissapointing, but even if I could find a staff member I'd have been unable to communicate with them due to the volume of the music. Again, not the largest Urban Outfitters store but they have tried to personalise and make this store a typical UO which can be hard to a certain extent with it being a mall location, but the lack of staff and the volume of the music really did make me want to get the hell out of the store as soon as I entered and I just decided I'd leave my purchase until I can get to my local branch in Manchester. 2*

Amazing service right from the front line staff all the way to the Manager. I was given attention with patience care and understanding to my situation. It did take a while as I did not have the receipt, apparently the receipt was to be sent to my friend email of which it never was received. Therefore, the item to be returned had to be checked with the store in Nottingham, to verify the purchase and the price. Patience over the phone the customer service personnel did the very best to provide all the pertinent information to enable the other store to locate and confirm the purchase. Finally there was success. It was all sorted out and a store credit was issued. I am very thankful to Owen Davies for all his patience with me who old and a senior. He was very diligent, efficient, attention to detail and he knew exactly what he had to do to make my day the best ever. I wish him all the best and success in all his future endeavours. I thank the Supervisor on duty was being helpful to enable Owen to fully provide customer service. Excellent. I managed to purchase 3 items and utilized the store credit since I was leaving to return back to Canada.

All other ties it is just low level madness! Service is great though, and I trust the fitting staff having had some bad experiences elsewhere. I recently went in and a member of staff stopped me buying a full priced pair of shoes for my daughter, and ended up recommending some sale shoes instead - proving that they're not just after your money! Range is excellent, stocking everything from Startrite and Clarkes to Hush Puppies and also much trendier designer ranges. I did struggle to find a staff member on the shop floor, which also did make it difficult to get around the store, combined with a lack of a store plan or signage. Eventually, when I did find a staff member, he seemed less than impressed with my search for the exit (I was trying to find the car park). The security guard also seemed a little rude, he seemed more interested in trying to intimidate customers than anything else. The store was fairly modern and had a good selection of brands, slightly more premium than other stores inside the Frasers Group, I do think for a brand selling many upmarket products, with prices to match, the in-store pick-up option should be much more straight-forward, it seems bonkers to have a delivery fee of £6.99, especially for picking up an item in-store, even one that is stocked there anyway. If you spend over £200, you do get a £20 voucher, but this can only be spent in-store on a future purchase... A fairly large and modern store, with some good products, however many parts of the store do not match the premium status of their products, which is a shame. 3*
