I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FIRM UNLESS YOU HAVE SERIOUS MONEY TO BLOW. I hired Charles Green firm because I wanted his CPA expertise, however, that is not what I received because they ran through $7000.00 within a matter of four months with only one court appearance. First, I hired him I did not know he was going to toss my case to his associate Diane. Second, they did not make good use of my money, work that a paralegal could have completed at a rate of $125, was completed by the associate attorney at a rate of $300 an hour. She prepared subpoenas; she prepared the proof of service forms, and simple documents a receptionist or paralegal could have completed at a cheaper cost. In addition, documents were sloppily cut and paste from other clients leaving the client's names on my document but I was charged $450 for these documents that only needed a name changed or a few changed words. Even though I was charged for her to read over prior pleadings at $300 an hour, I spent most of the time emailing her to give her the rundown on in my case. I suggested the subpoenas; eventhough he talked a good game before I hired him, they never made any strategic moves on my case. Mr. Green never looked at the tax documents that I hired HIM to review. According to his website listed this as a bonus for hiring a lawyer with a background as a CPA as well. I attached a copy of my 7k bill. Page 1 number one) she reviewed my pleadings but remained clueless 2) she had a paralegal organize docs in my file, however, see the picture of my file as it was returned to me, UNORGANIZED WITH ONLY A FEW PAPERS ACTUALLY HOLE PUNCHED INTO MY FILE. 3) Another job for a receptionist or paralegal but she prepared a request for order form at a rate of $300 an hour. 4) Reviewed pleadings but the firm remained clueless about my case. A receptionist or paralegal could have done the duties noted in 5-8 cheaper again. 9) Standard form copied from another client10) support staff should have been used. 11) The only change again with these standard documents was a name change nonetheless, I was charged $450. You can see another client's name still in the document prepared for me. 12) Cut and paste still had another client's name on my paperwork. Duties 13-14 finally utilize support staff to mail document at $125hr. 15) support staff needed. 16) Another standard document but I yet charged $150. 17) Charge to look at a simple form then email it to me for $60(Form I did not ask to have forwarded to me was done several times throughout case). 18) I informed them not to go through the files because I was going to go through the documents to give them the documents needed in which I did. She flat out did not do this. 19) Another standard form that was cut and pasted. A support staff could have done 20-21, & 23 support staff and the attachment form was a standard form attached to two documents for an extra $60 each. 24) Instead of having a support staff research an address, she did the research for $30. 25). another paper to glance over then email it to me which I did not request... 26) only court appearance 27). Sent another email to light a fire under them. THEY MILKED MY RETAINER TO DO BASIC WORK. I HAD AN ATTORNEY DO MORE WORK FOR $3300 plus 2 court appearances THAN THE WORK THIS FIRM PUT INTO MY CASE. THIS IS WHY ATTORNEYS HAVE A BAD RAP. HE SAID HIS FIRM WAS FRUGAL BUT AS YOU SEE, I BEGGED TO DIFFER. IN ADDITION, THEY NEVER REQUESTED THE OTHER PARTY TO PAY FOR MY ATTORNEY'S FEES THAT I ASKED FOR FROM DAY ONE OF HIRING THEM. p.s most of the good reviews were for the legal assistant who unfortunately did not work on my case. HE COMMENTED THAT THIS IS FALSE WHICH IM NOT AND HAVE THE POOR WORK TO PROVE IT. MY NEW LAWYER HAD TO REDO WORK THEY CHARGED ME A LOT OF MONEY FOR . IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE WORK PLEASE INBOX ME AND IM MORE THAN WILLING TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. WHY WOULDNT I COOPERATE WHEN SPENDING MY MONEY? WHY WOULD YOU USE AN ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY TO DO WORK YOU COULD PAY A PARALEGAL TO COMPLETE SAVING YOUR CLIENTS MONEY? Also thank goodness I went to another firm because they were going to file a motion to modify when I needed a set-aside judgment due to perjury. YELP FORCED ME TO PUT A STAR THEY DON'T DESERVE THAT! Diana has to be the worst attorney for men. If you just need motions filed, she is great. But to have her as representation I would RUN she will misrepresent you, she gives the other side whatever they want. Diana is more combative with her client than she will with the opposing team. You can have all the documents in the world and prove that the other party is in contempt, perjury and showing you do not owe what they say you do she will not go up against it. It was like I was going against the state and her. SHE DOESN'T OR DO NOT WANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT SHE IS HANDLING PEOPLE LIVELY HOOD. But she will take your money like she did all she could do to represent you. Let's not forget she hides information from her own clients. But if you have extra money and would like to throw it away use them. Charles goes along with whatever as long as they are getting paid. PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE RESPONSE THEY MAY POST TO SAY THEY NEVER REPRESENTED ME BECAUSE THEY DID, THEY JUST DONT WANT THE NEGATIVE REVIEW. read more

When I asked for a first consultation they told me that they charge $100 and I agreed, by the next day I told them that I regretted. I told them that I rather to chat with the lawyer about my case and see what will be his approach and also talk with other lawyers so I told them that I will not go if I need to pay for a first consultation. At first they didn't agree, but after a while they call me and told me that the first consultation will be for free. The guy at the phone asked me again about my case, he didn't even recall what it was about. Something didn't sounds good, anyways I went to their offices. They set with me maybe two minutes, for sure no more than four. I am not sure that they were right about what they told me. What is sure for me is that they make me waist my time. It doesn't make sense to me that you accept to see a guy if you already know that there is no sense in his case. In my first call they told me that if I pay the $100 the consultation hasn't time limit, of course, right? Guys, you make your conclusiones, my feeling about this place, it was the worst. Charles Green was my Family Law attorney for about 10 months. He will sell you on the fact that he is a certified family law specialist with over 20 years experience and has numerous diplomas hanging on his wall which are both true. He will also tell you that during litigation judges often look to him for guidance because of his vast family law knowledge. Well in my case that could not have been further from the truth. We wanted to have minor's counsel appointed and it was like pulling teeth to convince our commissioner judge to order it, and he did argue that each party should pay for 1/2 of that given my ex wife makes double my salary but lost out on that one, the commissioner certainly did not look to him for any guidance... He continued to beat a certain valid issue to death when it was clear the commissioner was not interested, even I shook my head. He recommended Elise Greenberg to be minor's counsel, she turned out to be useless. He has an associate attorney, Diana, who will did all the filings and write-ups, and charged me a nice associate attorney charge for it. A paralegal can do that for 1/2 the cost.
